The Snack Cafe

04/01/2025: Been going since I was in school and it’s still the best cheap lunch in Ennis.
05/10/2024: Going to the snack shack for years and love it in there. The staff are brilliant always greeting you with a smile and a chat. It's worth stopping in and the sandwich box's you can get are just perfect and tasty. Highly recommended

16/06/2025: Slightly misunderstood, I was expecting Hotpot to feature on the menu so was a bit disappointed when there was none. .
The sandwiches and salad are pretty good though and the chips are tasty. Also, importantly, the chips were hot.
The soup was tasty but slightly over seasoned to my taste. Normally I don’t use salt, so even a little bit makes a strong hit for me.
There were a couple of families eating at nearby tables and the kids were well catered for and the servers were very good with the young ones.
Service was good, efficient & friendly.
Price wise it was pretty reasonable too.

14/06/2025: Sadly won't be going here again. It used to be such a great spot and the service was incredible (about 3 years ago) but the last 2 times we've gone we were left waiting for over an hour for food and trying to get the attention of service staff was horrific and one of these times we were the only ones there... Absolutely horrific service and the food is really not worth it anymore!

18/05/2025: We had made a reservation for around 20 people and held a party for our daughter’s birthday and it was a great experience for us overall. The food was great with very good flavours and staff very helpful and efficient. I would like to extend a shout out to the manager Victoria who helped us organise and catered to our guests wonderfully. It was our first experience with the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic.

11/05/2025: The food was good, it all went very very sour when we were about to leave, my wife and daughter went outside to wait for me to settle the bill. Then the waiter ran out through the door and accused then of trying to skip paying and me standing in que to pay. I did not get any kind of apology for the error they made. My family were very embarrassed. I was very disappointed with their lack of professionalism and would never darken their door again. My recommendations are not good for this cafe.
06/04/2025: This place is on the go for years and it has always has been consistently good. My favourite is the Club sambo it's unreal and very filling. I have tried other things on the menu also and again I couldn't fault it. Highly recommend to anyone in the area seeking a nice sambo and coffee at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a try. Staff are very welcoming even when flat out at busier times. Keep up the good work.

25/06/2025: This hotel has lots of parking available… it sits beside an Applegreen service station but hotel was very quiet…. Friendly staff, spacious bright rooms… Food was very good quality…. Dinner menu is small but adequate and breakfast has a nice selection…. Overall a great hotel experience
