16/08/2025: Always a favourite of mine! The pacing of service, the flavour and quality of the food, the professionalism of staff, just perfect. Staff are very attentive to customers and just very friendly. Can't wait to come back again soon!
10/08/2025: Croft alley food is genuinely a little bit of Italy in Portlaoise- the food is as authentic as been in Rome or Florence, the pizza are just delicious and we love their in house Tiramisu (it’s all maybe even nicer than in Italy)
Yes highly recommend Croft Alley in every way.

02/08/2025: We had an early bird here last night. So nice. Gorgeous little complementary bits to start the meal. Delicious starter and main course and dessert. Service was excellent. The setting was gorgeous. I absolutely plan to go again and maybe have a go at the tasting menu because going by what I had last night it is bound to be delicious
21/07/2025: My 4th time at Bramley's and, as ever, the whole experience was fantastic. The food was incredible and the attention to detail from the kitchen was evident. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes it feel very special.
Price wise, the value for money is excellent and I don't mind traveling down from Dublin to avail of it!

🌻SOLAS Eco Garden Centre Portarlington

15/08/2025: Stopped here mid morning for a chat and a coffee. Top quality coffee and scone. Had very nice lunches here previously. Nice set up and staff very friendly. This spot is dog friendly also. Garden centre and shop are adjacent, plenty of parking.
06/08/2025: This is a bit of a crazy destination! It's a garden centre, garden shop, coffee shop, playground, abd a retail store with an eclectic array of goods !! Carparking and toilets on site. A cool place to spend a few hours!!

31/07/2025: Ate here with my family last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely menus for both adults and kids. I got the big burger, it came with chips and it was tasty tasty. Young fella got the popcorn chicken with chips and it was spot on for him. We all had desserts, delish. The staff working there were very nice and we felt well looked after. Good music being played too that even had my smallest fella up bopping about. Lastly, big shout out to the Belgian waffle 🧇.

05/09/2025: Easily the worst sushi I've ever had and I would seriously question the genuineness of the reviews here.
Happy to charge maximum price for minimum effort. Sushi was tiny, stale and in no way authentic. About a tablespoon of salmon used to fill my roll and drizzled in some translucent gunk. They ran out of spring onion so stuffed the second roll with ginger. It's simply not Japanese food.
Can see all of the above has been highlighted in previous previous reviews with no changes. It's a scam disguised as a restaurant.
24/08/2025: This unprepossessing place served me the best green curry I ever ate. All of the food was fresh and delicious.
