The best restaurants in Laois

07/11/2025: First visit here in a long time. It was excellent. Pork was very tender flavours delicious, followed by - hot salted Caramel pot. Staff lovely. Highly recommend a visit to Bramley's as a treat.

20/12/2025: You won’t get a nicer breakfast in town. The full Irish is a proper feed. The club sandwich is also lovely. And massive. At Christmas they do a festive club which is unreal. I’ve only recently deviated from my usual orders or either a breakfast or a club sandwich. Tried the loaded fries (pictured above). Sweet Jesus. What a feed. The belly buster burger is a sight to behold. Check out the pic. You'll need a lie down after it. Big credit to the staff also. You get service you only would from a family run business. A big welcome, bitta chat and craic, and efficient quick service. Port is lucky to have Eddie’s in town

01/09/2025: Fantastic full irish breakfast! We were dying on our way home from Electric Picnic, stopped in here for some breakfast, walked out like whole new women. 10/10 recommend and the staff are lovely!

23/12/2025: My husband and I had a beautiful meal here last night 22 December. The waiter was exceptional good and very professional at his job. His name was Artis and you couldn't ask for a better waiter ,nothing was too much to ask him for. The steaks were to die for can't wait to go back again thank you for a lovely evening and merry Christmas to all Thomas & Catherine Dunne

23/12/2025: This is the second time we have been to kellys for a work function this year. Can't fault the food very well presented and the steaks on both occasions where the best around. Staff very friendly and looked after the gang all night.

27/09/2025: Absolutely amazing pub! Had my 21st here this week and it was amazing, thank you so much to Jack Wallace, Ann Richie and the team! They were amazing, all the staff were an amazing help and helped us with everything i couldn’t ask for more. Top class service and support, it was a night that will never be forgotten! Thanks so much from Jack, Leah, Michael and Pauline.

21/09/2025: New owners have put great effort into the pub and has completely changed the atmosphere, cleaner new area out back for music and a new smoking area. Great place for a night out

21/11/2025: They have a good variety of outdoor plants and trees but less indoor plants. The Antique store and garden equipments are good.

16/11/2025: If you're looking for the unusual this place is worth a visit. Lots of vintage memorabilia but also garden and furniture centre. Also restaurant

01/11/2025: Fabulous food, Fabulous staff and service..the cookies are out of this world..and so is the bakewell tart and the cupcakes...basically everything is Fabulous. The Kelly lou bagel 🥯 is well worth having. Absolutely delicious..Great amount of filling. 1 improvement i would suggest add some salad to it then it would be next level

27/10/2025: Great coffee and cookies. A wide range of choice for anyone. Even open on a bank holiday Sunday. Staff were so nice.

05/12/2025: We got takeaway pizza and chips. Worst pizza we have had. We never went back.

18/10/2025: Staff were very friendly and accommodating, threw in some freebies for us as well, due to not having our desired toppings, which is always a great thing. Fast and friendly.

23/12/2025: Fabulous pub. A real gem of a find. Old school pub with great service. PLEASE take down the munster rugby jersey and replace it with a leinster rugby jersey and every thing will be fine.

07/12/2025: Lovely restaurant with a charming old Irish atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. I ordered the Wagyu burger — it was tasty and well-prepared, with good-quality beef, mushrooms, and onions. I expected a bit more depth of flavor given the description, maybe something to add a little contrast like a pickle, but overall it was still a very good burger in a great setting. Would happily visit again.

28/12/2025: Excellent customer service. The food was delicious. The donor kebab was one of the tastiest we've had. Parking outside. Opens late.

30/11/2025: Food is so nice and delicious. Price is okay, It is a take away service, Staff are friendly. We ordered pizza and French fries.. Are awesome.
