18/09/2025: The pizza was perfect. Excellant dough, toppings were great.
Lasagna and spaghetti was very acidic and tomato rich, you can love it or hate it.
Maybe we got them at a busy time, but we felt slightly unwelcome.
15/09/2025: Just had a beautiful delicious dinner. Yummy pizza, a giant meatball, greek salad - fresh and full of ingredients and very flavoursome baked aubergines. The experience topped with lovely Italian wine and desserts (affogato & pannacotta). Looks like this is the only restaurant in town worth visiting, especially on a Monday night; it was recommended to us and we managed to get the last table! Would definitely visit again, but we are tourists here all the way from Kerry, so not sure when that will happen.

01/10/2025: Arguably the best restaurant in Carrick-on-Shannon. We made a reservation however there was space for walk ins. The food and service is outstanding, well presented main courses and a selection of freshly made desserts.

11/11/2025: I went here for a nice birthday meal with my partner. We both enjoyed our food and the cocktail was really nice. I was a little disappointed that they had something still on the menu that they no longer serve, but I didn't mind too much as I just got the serving platter for 2 and shared with my partner. The sharing platter and share if you dare dessert selection is a really cute idea for couples especially. Will definitely be coming back for a cocktail night and a bite to eat.
03/11/2025: Easily one of the best restaurants i’ve been at. Shared so many dishes, from starters to desserts and everything was 10/10. The chicken wings, signature burger and short ribs were just amazing. The cherry on top then was the baileys cheesecake. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

19/10/2025: The food wasn't our cup of tea. We chose the restaurant because it looked very nice inside and out. The service was really good and attentive. Unfortunately, the stir-fry and the carbonara weren't good. But we would give the restaurant another chance and try a pizza.

07/10/2025: We've rarely eaten so well!
We had the steak of the day and the seafood linguine.
The steak was tender as butter, and the pepper sauce had just the right amount of spice.
The linguine was perfect. The combination of tomato sauce and crab with mussels was perfect.
The service was impeccable and very friendly. A little small talk is a must.
Everything is homemade.
The restaurant is decorated with great attention to detail.

01/11/2025: Very nice cafe, but crazy expensive for what I got. €4.50 for sausage roll with some crinkle cut crisps. At best very ordinary. Pot of tea was good. Has me questioning if I am back in the boom times. Money for nothing and your crisps for free!!

Travelled up from Cork for a meeting
The Red Bank is an experience in fine dining and service, menu is perfect
The chef must have trained with the best his food,presentation and quality probably the best I've eaten
The staff a mix ages know the menu could answer any questions and gave a beautiful description of the specials
Definitely one of the best
