The best restaurants in Limerick

25/09/2025: First time and it was a great surprise. Food is just the right amount of spicy (we chose things with just one jalapeño) and the Kulfi for dessert was delicious. We had a selection of starters and side plates to share (garlic naan is a must) Our servers were suuuuper nice and attentive, they gave great recommendations and were conscious of food choices (I'm vegetarian). All in all a great experience, definitely recommend. Sorry there's no pictures we ate everything before taking any

05/10/2025: Absolutely fleeced for a pizza you could get a paper cut off of that tasted like a deep breath. Service was friendly and understanding though.

03/10/2025: Every single time I come here they are closing soon. It says 21.00 on their website but they have you having dinner and cleaning up and lifting chairs around you at 20.30. Same for take away, they won’t take orders past 20.20 but they won’t answer the phone from 20.00. The pizza is great but the people working there are a mess

27/03/2026: Grossly expensive, but most coffee places are nowadays. But what irked me the most is the staff. Young wans with miserable, unhappy dispositions. So no I didn't enjoy that coffee, sorry. Cheer up maybe!

25/09/2025: Excellent breakfast. Wide selection of sweet and savory options. Everything we tried was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, patient with my parents, who didn't speak English and had trouble choosing what to order. We were staying at the hotel across the street and easily walked here since breakfast wasn't included. Recommended!

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

25/03/2026: Its basic food at a high price half the food tast like its from chef microwave or on its second day reheat. Just go to cafe sol in dunnes get the meal deal

14/10/2025: Arrived an hour before closing to a not very warm welcome. Were served in to go cups. Filter coffee was cold. The coffee was good however. The tart also served cold but maybe that's a thing.

18/03/2026: Sure the bathroom looks like a Soviet jail cell but everything else was perfect. The food was immaculate, the portions were big, the service was quick, the atmosphere was nice, the staff was friendly and the prices were pretty good for Ireland

27/02/2026: Found my new go to wing spot. The Volcano wings have a serious kick that lingers, and the Honey Mustard is easily the best version I’ve tried, not too sugary, just perfectly tangy. Great portions, crispy skin, and sauces that actually taste original. Highly recommend.

15/10/2025: Best cafe in limerick by miles. Beautiful creamy coffee and that porridge would keep u full for ages. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have only been here twice and I should've tried this place months ago. Great value for money too 😃
