14/06/2026: The server put scaling hot plates of food down directly in front of my kids and didn’t warn us that the plates were scaling hot. The food was very average. My husband got 5 scampi in a portion they charged €17 for. The wrap I got was cold and the bread tasted stale. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

22/04/2026: I come here a few days a week for coffee but usually end up having more...theres such a cheerful atmosphere. Service is always excellent and done with a smile...i love the granola and I cant resist taking home a banana bread....

05/06/2026: We had an exceptionally nice time at this Mcdonalds. We had Helen serving us as part of our school tour visit. She and all her fellow staff were so kind in serving our students from St Vincents Special School, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick. We would love to come back again another time!

23/05/2026: Been going here for god knows how long, yet ever since the place received a lovely big upgrade few years ago. Somehow the fact if you order any food with any sort of specifications they just CANT get it right, "Hello I will like no ketchup just cheese" its too complicated. I have a strong feeling its down to the training within the place as when I've gone in several times to get it corrected it gets done. I genuinely feel bad for employees who truly care and managers but it has gotten beyond bad. With people I know personally who are more picky eaters its an absolute NIGHTMARE to get 1 simple small thing correct.

12/06/2026: salam alaikum bro I get a chicken roll today , but I forgot to request garlic mayonnaise. When I asked afterward, the staff member was quite rude and dismissive " one kid only ". He's excused that it was busy , I usually enjoy coming here, but this was a disappointing experience. I hope it gets addressed

16/05/2026: I've had so many kebabs and Spice boxes I have lost count. Everyone in there is always nice and welcoming.

12/07/2026: Top 3 maccies and ain’t it ain’t second or third. Workers were dedicated to their vocation. Food was delicious and atmosphere was enjoyable. Next time I’m in Castletroy I’ll make sure to pop in.

17/06/2026: Yet again the food was terrible. We used drive through and had an echo on the system/callbox. The staff were really nice but the burgers tasted like an old shoe and the chips felt like a limp blade of day old grass. This outlet's management needs to up their game. Avoid at all costs.
