The best restaurants in Limerick

22/04/2026: I come here a few days a week for coffee but usually end up having more...theres such a cheerful atmosphere. Service is always excellent and done with a smile...i love the granola and I cant resist taking home a banana bread....

05/04/2026: Michelle served us today..... She could not have been any more helpful, caring and pleasant! We had a very memorable Easter Sunday brunch.... The food was superb! Best full Irish in a long time for hubby and I had a decadent Brioche French toast with crispy bacon, strawberries, cream and a very generous helping of REAL Maple syrup 🍁 Our tea was topped up with hot water without having to ask...... All staff so customer friendly. We've been customers since before COVID.... 100% to H&L Corbally team.... 👏👏👏

20/10/2025: Great little arcade that runs on card swipes. They have an amazing selection of rhythm games; Wacca, Taiko, Maimai, and of course DDR. Plus, they have some other cool retro games. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

28/12/2025: My main course was done twice and each time the wrong sauce was included in the dish. Always have the same main here, very disappointed with staff trying to say it was the right sauce. Left without having a main course. Won't be recommending this restaurant to family or friends again.

18/03/2026: Sure the bathroom looks like a Soviet jail cell but everything else was perfect. The food was immaculate, the portions were big, the service was quick, the atmosphere was nice, the staff was friendly and the prices were pretty good for Ireland

27/02/2026: Found my new go to wing spot. The Volcano wings have a serious kick that lingers, and the Honey Mustard is easily the best version I’ve tried, not too sugary, just perfectly tangy. Great portions, crispy skin, and sauces that actually taste original. Highly recommend.

28/12/2025: The atmosphere and service on the day we visited H&L was extremely poor. We were seated by a waitress named "Cherlene" and her demeanour on the day was what tainted our experience. Her attitude was of that of someone who didnt want to be there, and had no interest in serving customers. The cakes we ordered also on the day were old and dry.

18/04/2026: Great pizza with friendly service, you must collect, it's worth it and the deals for collection are excellant.

10/02/2026: I orderd a large pizza, it was good however they did not add the hot honey and when I ordered a litter of fanta I only got the 330 ml. I checked my order again to make sure I ordered it right (which i did). Other than that it was tasty.

29/12/2025: Nice traditional Irish pub. Friendly polite staff. They serve an excellent pint of Guinness. Plenty of TV screens to watch sports. Outside seating with heaters.

04/04/2026: Stopped by McDonald's in Castletroy, Limerick and had a really good experience overall. We had iconic double beef burger called Big Arch and it was genuinely great, fresh, tasty, and well put together. The drinks were also spot on. It does get quite busy at times, but the staff are clearly working hard and keeping things moving as efficiently as possible. Fresh produce and quick turnaround despite the crowd. Free car parking is a definite plus as well.

25/09/2025: First time and it was a great surprise. Food is just the right amount of spicy (we chose things with just one jalapeño) and the Kulfi for dessert was delicious. We had a selection of starters and side plates to share (garlic naan is a must) Our servers were suuuuper nice and attentive, they gave great recommendations and were conscious of food choices (I'm vegetarian). All in all a great experience, definitely recommend. Sorry there's no pictures we ate everything before taking any

19/04/2026: The waitress who greeted us wasn’t very welcoming - no smile and a rather cold attitude. It felt like we were a burden. Thankfully, the waitress who took our order and served us was much friendlier, as was the one at the till. I ordered the Tagliatelle Pollo e Funghi, but the sauce was quite watery, and there were only five pieces of chicken on the plate. I still have a voucher to use, so I’ll have to return—but I won’t be rushing back

15/04/2026: There's nothing wrong with Bella Italia, but there's certainly nothing right either. You walk in and you immediately get hit with decor and layout fit for Eddie Rocket's diner, not an Italian restaurant. I ordered the carbonara with side of garlic bread. It was €23.95. It was fine, but it's not €20 food, it's €15 euro served in a diner. The staff were lovely, the problem is with the owner that thinks their prices are competitive. For €20 main courses there's much better Italians in Limerick. I can't say there was anything wrong with my experience, but I won't be coming back.

12/08/2025: I visited The Imperial Bar and I must admit that it has a unique atmosphere. The decor is elegant, with classic accents, creating a comfortable and somewhat sophisticated space. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seating for both large and small groups. The service was very professional and attentive, which significantly contributed to my positive impression. The menu offers a wide range of drinks, from classic cocktails to more unique offerings that are truly worth trying. Furthermore, the selection of whiskeys and other spirits is impressive. The prices are moderate for this type of establishment. It's the perfect place for an evening get-together with friends or a quiet, relaxing afternoon with a drink.
