01/02/2025: Lovely little Italian restaurant with excellent food and service! We had the Tagliatelle Polpette which was tagliatelle pasta with a creamy thick tomato sauce and meatballs and Lasagna. The prices were very good and the portion sizes were generous. Would highly recommend

13/01/2025: Absolutely excellent customer service! Myself and three friends were upset having a very bad day. The staff read the situation and sorted us out with great compassion!

03/05/2025: Popped into Noms recently—service was quite slow, so be prepared to wait a bit. I’d recommend paying by card, as you'll end up getting a lot of brown coins in your change back if you use cash 😏. (Well thats what happened us) That said, the donut I had was absolutely delicious—fresh, fluffy, and worth the visit for the treat alone.

02/04/2025: I ordered some of the sauces online and it has been 16 days and running with no sign of the order being delivered soon. I emailed to let them know and got no reply. I would not recommend ordering anything online, not reliable one bit and the lack of communication is nothing but poor.

28/05/2025: Great place for a coffe and danish. Whether your going to nursety or not. Nusery really good always worth a visit for anyone ...gardners or beginners. Phil very helpful...but dont call him Ray! For any garden advice

29/04/2025: I enjoyed a nice bacon and egg healthy breakfast. Nice enough place. Good Velo coffee. A very good option in an area that has little in the way of good cafés such as this. One observation I made to the owner was acted upon both promptly and graciously, which is a great indicator of a good business.

12/05/2025: Took a very long time for out order to be took, waitresses never wrote the order down for 6 ppl, order came wrong, toilets way down a lot of stairs although there was a disabled toilet on main floor, when asked to use it staff had to put code in, when I asked to be let Into toilet staff told me I didn't look disabled ( not all disabilities are visible). I would not be going back anytime soon.

24/05/2025: Fantastic cafe. There’s always a bustle here. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. I used the hatch to get a take away coffee: The cappuccino coffee is delicious. It’s well located to then go for a walk around UL. I would definitely recommend coming here.

16/05/2025: The scone was INCREDIBLE. Will make an effort to get another whenever I visit next. Wasn’t sure impressed by the latte, would add a shot of espresso to make the flavor stronger.

10/05/2025: I came in yesterday with my partner and we always come here. Today we found a piece of hair inside the food and we said it to the waiter who then proceeded to say that no one in the kitchen had curly black hair and I was literally looking at a woman with curly black hair he then said it could have fell from our own heads but we both have black pin straight hair so how is this possible. After a bit of arguing he said he would ask the chef to remake it which he did. After a while he then said that the kitchen porter found hair in the sweet and sour sauce and apologised about it then again we found another hair and I said it to the waiter and he then said that it’s not possible two times and I told him there’s a camera there check it don’t accuse false accusations he then started laughing and being cheeky saying it could have fell from our heads even though we clearly didn’t have curly hair after arguing he then said that he would take it off the order fine he never apologised for it and while walking to the till he made cheeky nasty comments towards us. I asked for a manager and he said he was the supervisor is this how you guys train your staff to speak with customers hmm in the picture you can still see him laughing how rude!!!! I’ve just now seen the reply on this review and my partner has dreadlocks!!!! so if you would like to educate yourself his hair was in a style there would have been no way for his hair to fall into the food. It’s such a shame as the lana I’ve been to before we’re not this impolite to say that you watched you cctv and still go on to say that his hair is curly is ridiculous. Take the complaint and make yourselves better instead of looking for ways out of it. The employee was incompetent and thought it was the funniest thing as you can see him laughing on the picture below

07/05/2025: Absolutely delicious! Freda’s Fish & Chips never disappoints. The fish was beautifully fresh with the perfect crisp batter, and the chips were golden and fluffy—just how they should be. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It’s clear they care about quality and customer service. A great spot in West Clare for a tasty, comforting meal. Highly recommend!

08/04/2025: We just walked in, didn't realise it was such a busy place but staff were excellent in catering for 4 of us. No real waiting for either menus or food which was absolutely delicious. Staff were so friendly and polite, wonderful selection of foods available. I'd gladly return again but I would ring ahead first.

30/03/2025: We’re visiting the republic of Ireland with two teenagers who follow an Irish guy who talks about a proper spice bag. To me, that’s a bag you’d toss into a pot with crab legs. Newsflash the Irish, or mainly the many Chinese/Asian take away restaurants in Ireland see it much differently. It’s a taste treat (albeit a cardiological nightmare) comprised of fried chicken strips, French fries, a few sautéed vegetables and a mound chips. Which those are French fries. Mind you this is the only spice bag I’ve had, but damn. It was good for several reasons. First, price. Americans have this idea that eating in Ireland is going to be so expensive. It’s very comparable or even less in price when you realize that Europe pays servers enough to not rely on tips. Tax is also built into the cost so that doesn’t drop another 10% on. Second. The food. Yep. Not healthy. Yep. Not gourmet. However it was seasoned amazingly, and fresh hot and a dang good portion. The curry sauce was flavorful and you control how much or how little you want. I wanted all of it. Plus Sriacha. Third. Madam Mok herself is a huge part of the deal. She served us and didn’t try to sell us on ordering more than we needed, and was kind, funny and down to earth. Which sums up just about every Irish person we’ve met along the way, no matter where he or she was born. Proper Spice Bag in Limerick!

23/02/2025: Ordered takeaway from here today, and it was awful, I couldn’t even eat half of it. Everything was overcooked, overly crispy, and dark brown, like it had been fried for too long. The chips were barely potato, just crunchy sticks, and the chicken balls were soggy with a strange aftertaste, almost like washing-up liquid. I’m really disappointed, especially since the last spice bag I had from here in person was delicious. There was so much grease that I feel sick now.

25/10/2024: I recently visited soda cakes and had mixed feelings about my experience. The food was fantastic—delicious and well-prepared, truly a highlight of my visit. However, the atmosphere was marred by the rude demeanor of the manager, whose unprofessional attitude towards the staff was hard to ignore and her lack of hygiene was not pleasing. It created an uncomfortable and unbearable vibe that detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, I noticed that the barista could use some more training; I could hear the milk burning while my coffee was being made, which was a bit disappointing. With a few improvements in management and training, this cafe could really shine. I hope they take these comments to heart!
