03/02/2026: I'm not from Limerick but anytime I'm there, I'm trying to dine there. Food is so lovely. The variety is different than in other Chinese restaurants. Plus you can get the Japanese beer there. The service is great too.

The stir-fry noodles were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and loaded with tender beef and fresh vegetables — savory with just the right kick 🌶️. The spring rolls were crispy and golden on the outside, warm and tasty inside, and paired perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. The noodle soup was pure comfort in a bowl — rich broth, great texture, and very satisfying. 03/02/2026: Got food here over Xmas.its usually good however this time literally everything I ordered was inedible. Milkshake was like water, chicken sandwich dry , chips were the wrong toppings etc etc.I emailed the company and despite my order costing €30 they offered me a €10 credit. When I said I wanted my full refund....radio silence. Happy to serve substandard food and let you go swing for your refund. Hey listen, if you are that badly stuck for €30 you have far bigger problems than I could have imagined. Will not be visiting again. UPDATE 3/2/2026: Following my complaint Supermacs refused to refund me in full for my meal and instead offered a €10 voucher to spend in Supermacs!!!!!! RIDICULOUS.

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

18/07/2025: Visited shannon RFC for a pint before a concert the staff were amazing and friendly, even though the place was busy, everyone was served very quickly. Highly recommend

01/01/2026: Definitely go for evening meal - it’s all worth the additional price! I don’t get the bad reviews. The experience was outstanding! 👏 Everything starts as soon as you come in. Had champagne while at the waiting room. Nonetheless, here’s what I had: Lobster and crab lasagna for starter - a bit salty to my taste but all the flavors I expect were there. Venison for main - well executed with the blend of parsnip and blackberry sauce Salted caramel tart for dessert - it’s good, flavors weren’t that overwhelming so you can taste all the components to it.

29/12/2025: Really exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, really different, it feels like you are eating in someone’s house vs in a restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were great and honestly the food was Michelin star standard in my opinion. Loved it, would highly recommend and would definitely go back!

27/12/2025: Just a little goldmine in university court càtletroy limerick with a view tables and a takeaway service. We went recently with local family members and I loved it so much I went back following weekend with my son who said the same. I also believe there's a lot of munster players frequent it too .

05/10/2025: The restaurant's location is excellent, and the meal vouchers from our hotel were a great start. The food itself was fantastic, which made our experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the service was atrocious. We were not attended to at any stage during our meal, and no one checked if we wanted more drinks. We also had long waits for our food and had to flag down staff just to get the bill. It was disappointing to see what looked like a lack of training or management, as staff seemed to stand around talking to each other instead of helping customers. The poor service completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful meal.
