12/04/2025: Friendly cafe in parkway shopping centre , plenty of options , decent enough value with many options for breakfast or lunch . There’s a real community feel about the parkway shopping centre and Planters cafe is one of the pillars of the centre . Very helpful and pleasant staff which makes you feel at home and appreciated

08/04/2025: Very affordable, wheelchair friendly. Basic fresh foods,all day breakfast,soup,sandwiches of your choice,fresh dinners,teas/coffees, scones, choc.bars all served by friendly staff. Public toilets opposite Planters.

27/03/2025: Taikichi was a complete letdown. The staff had a really bad attitude just because we didnt order a lot of food. It seemed like they were annoyed by basic requests.However when the boy was walking around waiting for someone to maybe order more or get their bill, me and my friend moved to another table because we simply found it more comfortable, the boy gave us the BIGGEST side eye with his eyes wide open, like we were about to rob the place. Then there's the food at first i thought it was okay,but then i ordered specifically california rolls, i swear they used mayonnaise, and it is a bit dirty, there was something sticky on my seat and it got my jeans dirty, and there was a lot of dust on the lamps.The only nice thing to eat was the rice. Honestly, it's a place that seems to think it's fancy, but it's really just a rip-off with unbelievable service (in a bad way obviously) Avoid it the only reason i didnt put any photos is because google didnt let me

23/03/2025: I have loved this place from the very first visit! Amazing food and amazing service! They’ll give you ample quantity along with quality food! Dishes recommended- Kimchi ramen, Sushi, Tempura prawns, Fried Rice, Miso Soup, Katsu curry, Dragon rolls and desserts as well! Highly recommended! You’ll definitely love the place!

26/04/2025: Always love going here to this hotel, used to go to the night club there many years ago. But the staff are always so nice, and couldn’t be more helpful, it’s why I always go back. Food is great too.

24/04/2025: Hotel carpark not safe to park in. Had my vehicle parked outside the front door and overnight it had parts stolen off it and over €1000 euro of damage caused to the vehicle. Hotel manager was very unhelpful and had a no care attitude to the situation.

07/05/2025: The Food was good, friendly staff.

20/04/2025: Burger was perfectly cooked to temp, as was the steak. Fries were great. Absolutely no complaints at all.

12/05/2025: Took a very long time for out order to be took, waitresses never wrote the order down for 6 ppl, order came wrong, toilets way down a lot of stairs although there was a disabled toilet on main floor, when asked to use it staff had to put code in, when I asked to be let Into toilet staff told me I didn't look disabled ( not all disabilities are visible). I would not be going back anytime soon.

22/02/2025: First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.

31/01/2025: Gorgeous coffee shop, two very friendly and accommodating girls working today. Unreal quality coffee and açai bowls and chicken toasties with a few crisps on the side. The girls were so accommodating when my mom wanted an extra tea bag etc. very good prices. thanks a mil!
