14/12/2025: Got shafted for close to 300e. We got a gift of a 200e voucher in November, went to use it tonight (5 weeks later) to be told they wouldn’t honor it. They’re in receivership, still trading, still taking money, and we’ve since discovered they were told by revenue not to take vouchers in late summer yet they continued to sell them. Would burn the place down if we could. 92e spent, as we were trying to use up the voucher before they closed, no signs up to say they won’t honor it, but they’ll take your cash for a voucher no problems on their site!!! The fact staff don’t even bring this to their customers attentions makes them just as culpable. Horrible people, delighted they’ll be out of work!!!

17/12/2025: They have plenty options for vegetarians. Risotto was incredible and with pistachio on top. Creamy, crunchy and tasty Risotto. The host was very nice and waiter too. Great staff. The place has a quiet atmosphere.

22/11/2025: Got a takeaway which arrived quickly. That's where the positives end. Cold greasy onion bhaji, cold flabby meat samosas with no flavour, burnt poppodoms, mushy red onion chutney, asked for lots of sauce with chicken tikka masala, got lots of watered down sauce with dried out chicken, grey slimy pilau rice. Riata is the consistency of low fat milk. Rang the restaurant to be told that the same dishes were served to others and there was no complaints, that i should collect my food in future to check its OK and finally on my next order, they will give me a discount. I explained after 12 years of ordering from them, there wouldn't be another order. That was "fine"! €46 paid and we have no dinner!

17/12/2025: I’ve stayed at the Strand hotel as part of a multi year company project taking place in Limerick and all I can share is that Strand has become my second home. I’m greeted warmly by all the staff, Antoni on reception is always a pleasure to deal with and knows me by name. The bacon served at breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. Beds and room are always comfortable and well serviced. Pleased to see the introduction of a “save the planet and skip the room clean to get €5 off in the restaurant/ bar” scheme. Dedicated hotel car parking underground is safe and secure. Night team on reception when arriving late or early check out are brilliant and handle everything with a smile - even told me about the option to request a take away breakfast in a box to take on my flight home! I look forward to seeing you all again soon

21/10/2025: Food was great, except for the soft bacon. Eggs were delicious, especially the veggie eggs. Coffee was very good. Service was quick.

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

03/12/2025: We had high hopes for this Michelin-recommended restaurant, given its convenient location near my office and the numerous positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was mostly disappointing. The starters and desserts were bland and unappetizing, and the service was equally appalling. The staff was consistently ignorant, cold, and distant, lacking any sense of welcome or hospitality, except for the mid-age waiter who brought us the main course. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the main course, which was a delightful surprise. But that’s all there was to it.

15/11/2025: It was good. Nice starter, bread, cocktails and desert. The beef wasn't for me , I didn't think it was a great cut, but could be just me. A solid 4 not really a five star experience

25/09/2025: Excellent breakfast. Wide selection of sweet and savory options. Everything we tried was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, patient with my parents, who didn't speak English and had trouble choosing what to order. We were staying at the hotel across the street and easily walked here since breakfast wasn't included. Recommended!

31/07/2025: I didn't expect to find such delicious Chinese food in Limerick. The preserved vegetable pork with preserved vegetables is incredible, as is the salted fish and eggplant, and the sweet and sour pork. There's a Chinese menu. The owner is very kind. I even saw they offer group meals, like tour packages, and the home-style dishes are incredibly tempting. It's truly satisfying to be able to enjoy home-style Chinese food abroad.

30/12/2025: I got the best acai bowl here, the portion was very generous and i felt so full afterwards! On second occasion i came to get a hot chocolate and it was amazing. A cozy little place

27/12/2025: Just a little goldmine in university court càtletroy limerick with a view tables and a takeaway service. We went recently with local family members and I loved it so much I went back following weekend with my son who said the same. I also believe there's a lot of munster players frequent it too .
