12/06/2025: I ordered a large plate, the sushi was average, but not the worst. Very tasty fish plate and salad. The staff is friendly. My friend spilled some sauce on herself, so they immediately came over and offered to help.

12/03/2025: No exaggerating, this was the best food I have ever had! The pasta alla vodka was delicious and their daily special cheesecake was fantastic. The staff (server, chef, and everyone else) was extremely kind and helpful when we had to return due to our bus being canceled. I could not recommend it more

26/05/2025: Incredible place. The best coffee and food I have ever had at a cafe in my 19 years of living . Brilliant staff especially the young man who served me coffee (I think his name is Louis but I’m not sure) but everyone working there is incredible as-well. Probably one of the best cafes in Europe and that’s an understatement. When I’m in the cafe I feel as though I am in Saint Denis that’s how good the atmosphere is.

03/06/2025: Haven’t been here in a while and not be back in the distant future. Mistakes happen and when you request no mayo on something, from time to time the kitchen misses the request.
What’s completely unacceptable is when you send it back and it comes back with the mayo scraped off (and some still visible). Sending it back twice is a joke.
Out of the three other meals - the chicken wings came with the wrong sauce, the veg for the roast beef was cold and the fish pie was overcooked.
The manager was nice about applying discounts after I had to ask for them but this quality was ridiculous. It wasn’t the fault of the front of house staff either, I saw the order screen and everything was perfect.

22/06/2025: We arrived for the weekend from Dublin. We we're met at the reception by Antonio who was very happy and a pleasure to deal with while we we're checking in. He made checking in very easy and straight forward and having our room ready before check in time which was very helpful for us. The room was very big and had everything we needed and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the leisure facilities which were amazing. Highly recommend the hotel and all the staff we met along the way during our stay we're so nice and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Antonio and all the staff at The Strand Hotel.
19/05/2025: Clean, comfortable rooms. Great location in walking distance of everything needed on a night away.
Only irk is having to pay 12 eur per day for parking

Lovely modern floral decor, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and I will certainly come here again.
11/07/2025: Ate goats cheese salad. It was pretty tasteless and all ingredients listed were not included. Was given incorrect one of my coffees.
In a group and also made a few mistakes on thd drink orders.
Some of the group on bottomless brunch. I felt waitress/waiter were slow to return to bring prosecco.
We booked 2 hours but we're asked to move tables to make space for next booking before our allocated time was up.
