12/09/2026: Hosted a 14 person birthday dinner perfectly. Staff was amazing and managed extremely well!

17/10/2026: Camille used to be so great. I don't know what has happened. The staff are still great and the venue is nice, with good atmosphere, but the food is just so inconsistent and substandard now. I recently got a chicken starter and it might have been the worst chicken I have ever had. It was like it had been cured over several years. It was mummified meat. More like chickens feet than chicken tender. Could not even bite through it. It was like tough plastic string. It was as if they picked it out of the bin and the side salad was like it had been cut out of cardboard. The tiny tub of Sriracha sauce was enough for one chip. The monkfish special was all rice and I counted three pieces of monkfish. There wasn't even the option of Thindi, which for me, is now the better option. There are still nice options like the cauliflower and the curries are nice, but it's mostly rice, sauce and veg with not enough meat. I feel like Camille has got lazy with the food- taken their eye off the ball. Shame, because they were on to a really good thing. This is not my first bad experience, I was a loyal customer who has left good reviews also, but the last two years have seen a massive slide.

27/08/2026: I used to consider this one of my favourite places in Limerick. The atmosphere and the music are still amazing, but I didn’t understand what happened the other day. I was already at the counter, waiting to be served for quite a while, while many people who arrived after me were given priority and served before me. When I politely asked for my drinks, the woman serving me said “please” and went to make them. I hadn’t been rude at all, but the whole situation made me feel a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it has dropped down my list of favourite places.

08/08/2026: Good music and the staff is very friendly. The events they hold on weekdays are more appealing, with a DJ and food for sale.

18/09/2026: The service was very slow; I tried to flag down the waiters several times to place additional orders, but they completely ignored me. Eventually, I had to get up, leave my table, and go to the counter to place an order with a young woman who came out of the kitchen and took it for me, since the staff in the dining area wouldn't! I asked for Wi-Fi to use the internet while eating and waiting for my orders; one guy said they had it, but then another woman came over and said they didn't, claiming she couldn't share the Wi-Fi because it would slow down the internet connection used for processing orders! Every restaurant offers Wi-Fi for customers—this is the first one I've seen that doesn't, and I think it's an important feature. The service was truly poor, even though the food was tasty. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend it.

18/09/2026: I was here today, and the service is slow—very slow; they see you but completely ignore you. Unless you go up to the counter, you have to wait at least 20 minutes for them to come to you. Another downside is that there is no Wi-Fi available for customers while they wait for their food, which takes a long time. Overall, I’d rate the food a 6/10. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone; it’s not worth it.

13/10/2026: This is a lovely little spot with a great menu! Service here was really good, staff are very attentive, friendly & welcoming. The layout of this place is lovely, very chic French cafe vibes. The food was tasty and there were plenty of choices on the menu (but not so many as to be overwhelming) I visited at lunch time and got the roast chicken ciabatta which was delicious. The coffee here is not bad either. Overall if you’re looking for a nice local coffee shop with a good menu, come here!

22/06/2026: Awesome hot dawgs! Got some yesterday and it made our day. Definitely recommend the Plain Jane and the Asian Dawg - the staff were very good to modify the Plane Jane to suit dietary preferences. Very good value for the prices too, because the hot dawgs were nice and big and a full meal in themselves. Staff were nice and friendly, and the food was done nice and quickly. Definitely recommend this spot and no doubt we'll be returning.

24/09/2026: My girlfriend and I were in Limerick from England for Cannonball 2026. This was our food highlight of the trip. We LOVE chicken wings, and eat them 2-3x per week. We also love spicy food and hot sauce. We decided to try three spicy sauces: Buffalo, Lava, and Nuclear. Buffalo was delicious. A classic buffalo sauce. Lava was my favourite, it was quite a step up in terms of heat from Buffalo, and it just tasted so good. Now, for the nuclear sauce... My girlfriend and I are great with spice. At most restaurants (like wingstop), their "hottest sauce" falls flat. It's never that spicy. That was not the case for Volcano Wings. These are the only spicy wings that have evet defeated me. My face was red and I was sweating buckets. It made me feel like I was on drugs with how hot it was 😂. They were also divine in terms of flavour and I didn't want to stop eating. We loved it so much, we are considering flying to Ireland at some point just to eat here again 😁. I hope you guys franchise one day, I need Volcano Wings closer to home.

01/06/2026: Got 30 euros worth of food here and must say was unacceptable took over an hour and after that burger was red raw wouldn't give too my dog taco chip rotten too don't recommend here is a photo of the burger🤢

26/05/2026: Stunning views from Limerick Strand! I'm always happy to spend a night here. Excellent gym and spa. I especially enjoy time in the sauna and hot tub. What a way to end the day!
