The best restaurants in Limerick

18/02/2025: Food is lovely, though I would like more spice in some dishes, but that's personal preference. Staff and delivery are efficient.

16/02/2025: First time here and won’t be back. A load of waitresses working approx five of them and didn’t even wipe down the table when we sat down so I had to do it myself. Had to order ourselves at the counter whilst the waitresses sat around chatting one even sitting on the counter top? Paid to do nothing! I got the crispy chilli chicken which was basically a clunk of vegetables in a bowl with a few pieces of chicken thrown in! Rice was gluggy and the fried potatoes were dripping in fat. One of the worst dining experiences to date.

22/02/2025: Lovely ,daytime spot to catch up with a friend for coffee, very obliging barmen here and just lovely and cosy and comfortable

17/02/2025: A little hidden gem, a one night stay but will be definitely turning for longer. Couldn't fault food/service/bedroom. Everything at a very high standard.

08/03/2025: You can have a good time, a wonderful view of the embankment. The food is tasty and fresh. A large selection of cocktails. Friendly waiters.

19/01/2025: We loved our visit here. We ordered sandwich of the day which included turkey on sourdough bread, a goat cheese salad and pancakes. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We would love to return.

08/03/2025: I love this place ! I come here often with my partner, it is so local and convenient for any food cravings we have during the week. They have a variety of great options. The servers are always so polite and great, Savannah in particular always accommodates us very well.

31/01/2025: Gorgeous coffee shop, two very friendly and accommodating girls working today. Unreal quality coffee and açai bowls and chicken toasties with a few crisps on the side. The girls were so accommodating when my mom wanted an extra tea bag etc. very good prices. thanks a mil!

20/11/2024: I stop in Chill The Bean on the Ennis road quite often for some breakfast and a nice strong coffee to start my morning, especially when I’m working in the area. The staff are always in top form and so polite. If I had to say one negative thing it would only be that the banoffee over night oats sell out too quickly 🙈 that flavour is my absolute favourite, it’s delicious.

21/03/2025: Stunning three course meal, here to celebrate a birthday , first time eating here but we will be back, it is one of the best meals I’ve had!

14/03/2025: The French table exceeded our expectations. We came here on Thanksgiving weekend for dinner while in Limerick, Ireland. The entire place is bustling, and making reservations is ideal to avoid disappointment. As we checked in, the staff took our jackets and led us to a table for two by the window. The restaurant offers a package of selecting either 2 or 3 courses. My partner chose the 2-course offer, while I decided to have escargot and entrecôte (steak fries), which was not included in the package. Over dinner, we both enjoyed our meal selection, which was well-flavored and portioned. With awesome customer service and a reasonable price point, this place is worth visiting while in the city of Limerick, Ireland.

24/02/2025: Tumbs up from me - A little slow getting someone to pop over to us when we got the seats and the tables were a tiny bit close together at least where we were sitting but a fab spot and deffo five star food. Very impressed.

01/01/2025: Really good food, lots of variety and all very fresh. Zest is a busy cafe in a big furniture shop, we had an enjoyable stroll around while we were there!

03/02/2025: Delish's prices need to be reigned in. €4.65 for a mediocre coffee in Castletroy - need I say anymore. They have always been the most expensive in Limerick. I've learned my lesson and won't be back.
