The best restaurants in Limerick

05/08/2026: 10/10 I loved my healthy breakfast and coffee, nice place and friendly staff. Highly recommended

14/07/2026: What I think of this place? It’s okay but not brilliant, 4.7? Maybe 4 at best! Positives, I do like the layout, the style and decor of the restaurant/cafe, and thought the mocha was nicely made. With that said, a few things let our experience down. Firstly, when we went to order I didn’t realise they only serve lunch items from 12 onwards. Nothing particularly wrong with that, but it renders at least a third of the menu useless. At least that. The item I went for was the mushroom and onion omelette. Overall it was a bit bland and could’ve done with some seasoning, though it was cooked fine. We were also asked to move from where we were sitting for a table of 4. While I didn’t object (mainly because he asked nicely), I do believe we shouldn’t really have been asked to move. There was plenty of other space available, so I don’t see why the guy working there couldn’t put together a table somewhere else in the restaurant. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation. On top of that, when I went to the bathroom downstairs in the gents, the toilets looked spotlessly clean but the light in the cubicle was nonexistent and the door wouldn’t lock. Not the most comfortable situation, especially when someone could easily open the door on you. That ought to be fixed. When you combine all these negatives, the food being okay but not brilliant, being asked to move despite plenty of other spaces, half the menu being unavailable at 11:30 AM, and the toilet issues with the light and lock it makes the whole experience a little disappointing. The positives like the nice mocha and decor were there, but unfortunately these things didn’t make me feel particularly welcomed or valued as a customer.

20/08/2026: The tomahawk was good but not great. I ordered a medium well but it was closer to well done. Staff were great and helpful but food was a bit slow to come out maybe because it was a Saturday evening and was busy. There was a 2-man band performance which is great, so we didn’t mind the wait.

16/05/2026: We come here every year for a family gathering. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. Food is delicious. I would highly recommend and definitely will return 👌

12/08/2026: Pints are always okay although expensive. Had chicken wings and chips today and was very disappointed. Chicken was very dry and the chunky chips tasted very bad.

04/07/2026: A colleague recommended me to try their matcha but it was not impressed me, the drink came with way too much milk and very little of matcha which was not even whisked probably, it was completely tasteless 🤦‍♀️. I know matcha become a viral drink but not every cafe has the good one.

15/07/2026: Food is just o k, staff are good, bought a small bottle of water there the other day €3, shame on them at that price.

31/05/2026: Amazing food and a great atmosphere. I also want to give a special mention to Jorge and Osvaldo — they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!

16/08/2025: Clean and welcoming place, excellent service. Cappuccino compared to the large Italian ones, but you can choose between small, medium, and large, but excellent. A piece of advice: stop by ☺️🤗🤗

10/06/2026: Pub has gone down rapidly since Rob barman left drink not as good atmosphere now seems gone some lovely bartender girls worked here previously all gone.

11/04/2026: Don’t get the Pulled BBQ Chicken. There’s barely any chicken on it and they know it. I just don’t think a dish should be named after something it’s not. It’s 85% chips, bbq sauce mayo with a touch of chicken. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and I think the staff was wonderful. We did raise the ‘chicken situation’ and were handled by staff with composure. Mains were ok. The desserts are fab. I prob won’t head back here if I’ll have to pay.

22/03/2026: The staff is friendly and quick, making sure you feel taken care of. The food is fresh, tasty, and well-presented, with delicious options. The seating is comfortable and spread out nicely, creating a relaxed vibe. With fast service and great food, it’s a place you’ll definitely want to come back to. Definitely a 5 ⭐️ love this place food was tooooo good I didn’t take pictures with. 🤤

24/08/2026: Went to the French tabke with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were all so disappointed with the food. 2 of us got prawns and they were tasteless and they weren't Tiger prawns, it was small shrimp in a watery cream sauce. 1 person had the smoke salmon, the portion was tiny and the 4 th person had the veal pie which was tasteless.. I.had the chicken for main course which was ok.. it was served with a small sliced potatoe and a spoon of mixed veg. The other 3 people had the beef which was ok but their potatoe dish was awful, when they asked for a different potatoe dish they were told they would have to pay extra.. we did complain to one of the owners who said she would look into our complaints but never came back to us before we left.. none of us had desserts.. overall a very disappointing experience and standard of food has dropped alot compared to previous visits to this restaurant.

03/08/2026: Went to an outdoor bbq ar the French table with my partner and 2 kids was rushed in to pay 75 euros got 3 pork chops in a bread rll and 3 under cooked sausages in a hard bread roll with 4 cokes over priced and bad service won't be going back

02/06/2026: Had drinks and food, service was quick and staff were very helpful.....food was great and overall atmosphere and cleanliness was excellent
