The best restaurants in Limerick

07/01/2026: Absolutely unreal. The fish and chips are the best I’ve had in years, and the curry sauce is on another level—never tasted chippy sauce like it. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Genuinely worth the drive to Limerick just for this place.

05/01/2026: A family group of 6 adults and 4 children stayed for one night in 3 family rooms. We stayed January 2nd. The overall experience was very postive. The location of the hotel was great and the rooms were all superb. The breakfast covered all of the bases for us and the bar was inviting for a drink. The only negative for us was the temperature of the pool on both the 2nd January and 3rd January. One of the reasons to book the hotel was the fact that it had a pool. Some of the people in our group did not use the pool because it was cold.

31/12/2025: Me and my friend both got pancakes and when we tried them, we both got the same taste of perfume and chemicals. This was our second time having a problem at shake dog. My friend found a small black worm in her wrap. 31st Dec. 2025 Also me and my friend are nauseated after consuming the pancakes.

26/11/2025: The food was/is fab,bthe banter was/is a brill/thrill & the atmosphere was a little too darkly lit but all that are important when the Customer is SKY HIGH & the Service is almost as "thrilling".

11/01/2026: Lovely place, professional service, friendly staff and most importantly extremely delicious food. Try the noodles that they make for you, won't regret it.

29/12/2025: I went on December 28th, 2025 at 7:30pm my reservation. The service from the two men at the entrance was a complete horror, terrible, rude, a 0 out of 10. I urgently advise that the employees receive training. I don't know if in their country they have the custom of treating people like garbage. Their English was terrible and their communication extremely poor. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They should close for a month and take a course in good manners and education! I have never been treated so badly in a place. What a horror show!
