28/10/2024: We were visiting Ireland for our 25th anniversary and stayed in Limerick for just one night as we traveled all over the country. My husband found recommendations for Freddy's on Google, so we popped in, not realizing we needed reservations. The hostess tried to squeeze us in but they were all booked up, so we asked her for a recommendation and she suggested the Spit Jack just a few blocks away and we ended up having the BEST meal if our trip! So I wanted to say Thank you!!! Although we didn't get to try out your wonderful sounding menu, we were very grateful for you trying to squeeze us in and for your suggestion of a wonderful place for dinner!
24/10/2024: Had a great family meal 6 of us. Everyone loved the food. The service was perfect. We were able to ask for hake with no salt or oil or butter and veg with no butter. Vegan food was so tasty, and the dessert was amazing. I have been here years ago and it's still a top top restaurant. Everyone was very happy we chose this place.

18/10/2024: Lovely place to visit. Used to be the cities custom house. Today, it houses some of the finest artefacts and artworks in Ireland. It's definitely worth a visit when you come to Limerick.

07/11/2024: Delicious food. I served myself some exquisite gnocchi, and I prepare some very good ones, and my daughter a vegetable soup of the day and a tomato risotto. Everything was very good and the place was beautifully decorated with views and unbeatable service. Congratulations

22/10/2024: Clean, affordable large rooms. The staff, especially Tony Curtis, are professional, friendly, helpful, kind and funny! It made our short stay even better! Recommend this hotel for long or short stays.

21/06/2024: Wow. The waitresses are just fabulous - such lovely people who really make sure everything with your food coffee and table is just as you want it. So good to their patrons inside and outside the cafe. Thats an amazing plus to what was the BEST goats cheese salad I have ever had. The black pudding while €2 extra was, best described, as the icing on the cake for the want of putting it as best I can. The makings was the range of berries and salads on the plate was incredible. Blueberries Strawberries Mango red onion cherry tomatoes hazelnut nuts walnuts cashews radishes cucumber so many different leaves carrot - and not too much just enough to add massive flavour. Outstanding.

18/11/2024: We had several meals here over a weekend, would highly recommend it. Delicious dinner options and lunch options. Lovely staff as well. A gentleman called Mihir looked after us two days and was so helpful, we had the toddler with us and he was very helpful getting us extra things we needed for him. A great atmosphere, would certainly stay in this hotel and eat here again.

06/11/2024: We recently had our wedding at The Clayton Limerick. From everything in the year leading up to the day, to everything on the day, we were looked after so well by all the staff. Our rooms were extraordinary, and the day went off without a single hitch. We were incredibly looked after and the set up on the day was exactly what we wanted, above and beyond our wildest dreams. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to future brides and guests.
05/11/2024: A lovely room, great food and good location. My son forgot his teddy in the bed and when I rang the following night at 10pm they had it, posted it home the following day.

30/10/2024: I'd say a hidden gem here in Limerick for food. There are many places that are good, but none like this place.
Food is delightful and delicious! Large variety for a very good price. We dined here and have gotten take away. Both the portions are large and will do us both for dinner and food the next day.
The staff is lovely and really have a heart for servicing food.
We have had several dishes and we would recommend the;
Wanton Soup
Miso Soup
Sichuan with the house special
Green curry with Duck
Saté
Panang curry with shrimps
The crispy chicken with the Cantonese sauce.
Chips
Spice box
We will be going here a lot more, perfect for a meal and perfect for takeaway or delivery.
