26/12/2025: One of the better matcha around Limerick. The egg muffins are always my quick go to protein fix and they’re delish! I hope they start opening on the weekend.

18/12/2025: Every morning, I take my eldest into the city for gym. While he works out, I wander to a nearby café with my laptop for a pot of tea, a bit of writing, and some much-needed peace. (I love my big Irish family but there's a lot of them!) Yesterday, I found myself at @delishcafes in Raheen, tucked between Christmas party chatter and the scent of scones. I was perfectly content, so much so that I ordered a second pot of tea. When it came time to leave, I reached into my bag… no purse. I’d left it in my coat at home. I sheepishly approached the manager who was juggling a very festive, very busy café and explained the situation. She didn’t blink. No fuss, no questions, no “let me take your number just in case.” Just: “That’s no problem at all. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Her generosity melted my embarrassment on the spot. I walked out of Delish with that lovely warm feeling that happens when someone meets you with grace instead of suspicion. That’s the spirit I want to carry into the rest of the season❣️

27/01/2026: We recently held a corporate gathering and chose Collins Bar for lunch and from start to finish the experience was outstanding. From the initial booking with Eileen right through to the smallest details on the day, everything was organised superbly. We had just one hour for lunch and needed to get 60 people fed, which could easily have been a challenge, but for the team at Collins, it was no problem at all. Colette, Joanna and the rest of the staff were on the ball from the moment we arrived, managing everything seamlessly and ensuring that all dietary requirements were carefully catered for. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere despite the tight schedule. The food was absolutely delicious and every single person in our group was delighted with their meal. An exceptional experience all round, fantastic organisation, wonderful staff and excellent food

08/11/2025: This is the best Chinese restaurant I suppose in Limerick. I went here so many times with or without my friends. Pho is one of my favorite dishes here as well as fries! They probably change the chef. The pho I love the best wasn’t as flavorful as before. I now totally quit this spot.

16/11/2025: I visited today for the Caherdavin Celtic Bingo Night. It was very enjoyable. The guys on the counter in the cafe let me bring a plate of chips into the function room so I am giving them a mention here They do nice carvery here from other reviews and it’s lovely I will definitely be back here again for another quiz night or vacation

28/12/2025: Popped in here because it was the first pub we passed with a food menu after leaving our hotel. Absolutely delighted we did, really nice decor, very good atmosphere and a decent pint. The lunch menu was simple (wraps, toasties, soup etc) but the food was very tasty (it's hard to beat a pint and a toastie!)

13/09/2025: Small but super cute, went there on a late Saturday afternoon to read a book and got a place to sit, I imagine it would be very hard to find a seat at breakfast/lunchtime. The single seats are unfortunately high seats so a bit uncomfortable to stay longer then 30ish mins but I understand they're there to save on space. The coffee was nice and I got a super cute design, I also got a brownie and it was fab, not too sweet. Highly recommend

13/08/2025: Wirklich gutes Cafe, Shannon-Blick, toller Kuchen & Kaffee - wärmste Empfehlung! Very nice place overlooking the quay at the Shannon! Great cakes - the chocolate orange ball is a real treat, and the pear&almond tarte was yummi! Cappuccino was great, too. An extra star goes to the lovely waitress with german ancestors!

17/12/2025: christmas roulade cake was divine I could eat seconds the place was beautifully decorated for Xmas so clean and warm, staff was so helpful and nice will definitely be returning here again 10/10

30/11/2025: ⸻ Yesterday, I came to the shop to buy my favorite cake, the Red Velvet. The place wasn’t very crowded, and there were two staff members. I stood there for about five minutes or more, and neither of them came to ask what I wanted or even apologized by saying they were busy and would be with me shortly. I hope this doesn’t happen again, because you have a unique and special taste, and I always buy from you for every birthday and occasion.

13/08/2025: The place was really great value for money. We ordered some large trays of chicken curry and some breads that were fantastic. Staff were really friendly and the dining area cool to sit in. Only in a hot sunny day sitting with all those windows got a bit hot but at least it's Ireland we don't get many of those. There were tables away from the windows as well.
