The best restaurants in Limerick

25/11/2025: I was with some friends having a few pints of Guinness and it was great. The service was excellent and we had a great conversation with the bartender, who even recommended places to visit.

22/11/2025: If you are looking for a clean and quiet Irish pub,The Tavern is a perfect once.Dominic is a very friendly guy and is strict about his admission policy.The regulars are really nice people.

17/10/2025: No. 1 Pery Square is an unexpected gem in Limerick! The style and design are truly incomparable and meticulous. We loved the unique, luxurious details—from the comforting scents throughout to the quirky garden art featuring vintage motors and machines. Service is impeccable, the spa was pristine, and the food and drink were superb. A genuinely relaxing, high-quality experience. Highly recommend!

12/09/2025: Chic and cozy boutique hotel in an easily accessible area of Limerick. Can’t overstate how strongly I recommend the spa here. We did the thermal experience and an hour massage after our red eye flight from NY and it was idyllic. The massage therapist Alan was amazing and I highly recommend getting a custom massage from him to start or end your trip in the most relaxing way possible!

13/01/2026: Great food. Burgers were really tasty. Made sure to get seating for 8 of us as a walk in. Staff were very attentive.

21/11/2025: Was way too loud to hear anyone in here and the music wasn't even good. Pizza texture was like a frozen one and the price of both drinks and food in there is extortionate. No good options for people with any intolerances either. You also get sat right on top of other people even if there's loads of more intimate space available.

30/11/2025: Really stuck for something nice to eat always went here if we where in the city not anymore soup and toasted sandwich 25 euro ok a bit pricey toastie was burned on one side and not melted on the other and the soup was salted out really poor food

27/02/2026: I really like this place. The staff are excellent and very attentive but not overbearing. It’s very clean and there is a vast drinks and cocktail menu. I ordered steak and I thought it was cooked perfectly. I would gladly come back here again to try more of the menu. The food was brought to me very quickly which was nice, the restaurant was probably half full at the time so there was a nice hum about.

23/01/2026: Limerick's historic center. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. That's why I hadn't been here for about four years. We returned and weren't disappointed. The atmosphere and crowd were very pleasant. The staff were friendly. We found a spot by the fireplace. It's doubly enjoyable in winter. I really enjoyed the seafood pie. Ireland can be very diverse, but this is truly a good, solid Ireland. We're sure we'll visit again. Special thanks to the bartender who served us. He's not only friendly, but also has a great sense of humor. Excellent.

18/01/2026: Lovely little pub, typical in the area. Excellent sea food chowder pie. Perhaps, my favorite thing i had in the town.

27/01/2026: It's the go to Irish breakfast spot in Limerick. Service is amazing and so is the food. Good portions for food and atmosphere is just perfect!

12/12/2025: I cant believe that it was so bad here , it used to be fantastic staff, service was always second to none ,, but now i won't be recommending to eat here 12 euro for two eggs toast and tea, toast was cold and was let waiting for it , i can honestly say will never go there again

23/01/2026: Was here a year ago for a solo dinner. Had made a reservation. Food was nice. Waitress was a bit cold but did her job effectively. Then I had finished my first meal after 30 minutes of being seated (I had waited 15-20 minutes already and I'd arrived on time). The waitress then told me I had to leave, quite rudely and quite dismissively, because they had people waiting. There were tables with more people who had gotten there before me and were given a dessert menu. I have every reason to believe this was done because I was quiet and on my own. Although some other younger staff members were nice when I initally made the reservation, this waitress made me feel marginalised as a paying customer who made her reservation in advance like everyone else. If they booked too many tables or other tables stayed longer than planned, the staff should have had either had a table limit or rushed out people who were there for much longer than 30 minutes. She was visibly worried about what the other customers would say, but treated me like a marginalised person whose opinion was lesser. I don't want to have to never come back, the other staff were good and the food was delicious, it was just this one waitress. If I decide to come back this year and get treated this way or similar again, I will be making a complaint to a manager or higher up. I was worried to say something at the time, but I realise now that this behaviour was and is unacceptable.

26/12/2025: Average place for coffee. Matcha was so grassy - it’s either bad quality matcha or they don’t know how to make it. Oatmeal cookie was fab. It can be packed on busy day. I recall having to wait to be seated and took a while to get the food. By the time I had my full Irish breakfast, it was a bit cold and just doesn’t feel fresh.

22/12/2025: Came for breakfast while I waited for a hospital appointment. No option to remove meat from breakfast burrito to make it vegetarian friendly. Ordered scrambled eggs on toast and the toast was barely warm. The table next to me also had the same problem. It was warm bread as opposed to toast. The eggs were more akin to a chopped up omelette than scrambled eggs

03/02/2026: Thought the options to just have a main meal meant we spent way more than wanted to. I found the meal overall expensive for what it is. I had 1 adult and 4 kids. The older kids had to have adult menu which was €33 euro for 2 courses.

26/01/2026: We had a family Graduation on tue 20th January ..i have to say( kian Sang) it was an amazing experience, from your staff and service, The food was absolutely excellent and well presented, and we had 22 people who were all put together also ..just a beautiful place .Thank you so much from Caroline ,Temera and omo, and Erica Odhomor ...for making my daughters Graduation an enjoyable event .Thank you ,Marcopoloxx
