The best restaurants in Limerick

20/12/2025: This place is so busy. The line never stops. Is it that it’s only open for very limited opening time, good coffee, or their self made pastries? I had ham and mushroom omelette, spinach/feta, pistachio croissant and cappuccino. I won’t say it’s outstanding. This ranks third on my top Limerick bakery and maybe at par with my go to place for coffee. Omelette was average but is very filling for the price. As per reviews, this place is a bit cramped so not the usual cafe vibe. I’d go again for food and coffee. 👌

17/10/2025: No. 1 Pery Square is an unexpected gem in Limerick! The style and design are truly incomparable and meticulous. We loved the unique, luxurious details—from the comforting scents throughout to the quirky garden art featuring vintage motors and machines. Service is impeccable, the spa was pristine, and the food and drink were superb. A genuinely relaxing, high-quality experience. Highly recommend!

12/09/2025: Chic and cozy boutique hotel in an easily accessible area of Limerick. Can’t overstate how strongly I recommend the spa here. We did the thermal experience and an hour massage after our red eye flight from NY and it was idyllic. The massage therapist Alan was amazing and I highly recommend getting a custom massage from him to start or end your trip in the most relaxing way possible!

04/01/2026: I have always had a pleasant experience here. The staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming and I post to give them the recognition they deserve! The Buttery is a treasure in the heart of Limerick city centre. Food great, lots of healthy options..thanks!

16/12/2025: Just made a stop here on our way to the ferry in Portsmouth having driven from Manchester. Absolutely amazing food and it's a really lovely place. Everyone is so friendly and will definitely come back. They do have rooms available so that's worth an option for our next trip.

08/12/2025: I'm very glad that I found The Furze Bush Inn as they are an independently run establishment that provided me with top quality food, service and attentiveness! Stayed for one night and the overall review is that it's a wonderful place to try!

25/11/2025: I was with some friends having a few pints of Guinness and it was great. The service was excellent and we had a great conversation with the bartender, who even recommended places to visit.

22/11/2025: If you are looking for a clean and quiet Irish pub,The Tavern is a perfect once.Dominic is a very friendly guy and is strict about his admission policy.The regulars are really nice people.

21/11/2025: Was way too loud to hear anyone in here and the music wasn't even good. Pizza texture was like a frozen one and the price of both drinks and food in there is extortionate. No good options for people with any intolerances either. You also get sat right on top of other people even if there's loads of more intimate space available.

08/12/2025: Food was great. Disappointing service. Was offered an after dinner coffee in the middle of my main course because they wanted to turn the machine off. The table beside us had his main served to him while still eating his starter. It wasnt even 8pm. If I wanted to be rushed, I'd have gone to McDonalds. Emailed the restaurant before I put up a review and got no response. Very unprofessional.

21/11/2025: It all started with a simple phone call & led to an amazing overall experience with the staff, food & all! I wondered about the foods ingredients, specifically, the gluten or lactose free menu. I was greeted by a manager or supervisor named Emma over my call, so polite, down to earth yet very professional. She resolved all my queries in relation to the kiddies strick diet they have almost instantly, all I was left with was excitement for the kiddies reaction when I told them what they could order and as for their faces when eating.. lol. Very happy! The food service and food that followed was of the best experiences I had with the flavor, cooked to perfection, portions full and of course, the service from all staff who played their part was top notch. We were recharged. After a long week of work and moving house, I'd highly recommend this restaurant in Limerick city and to you Emma and staff, well done & thank you all! ❤️✨

30/11/2025: Really stuck for something nice to eat always went here if we where in the city not anymore soup and toasted sandwich 25 euro ok a bit pricey toastie was burned on one side and not melted on the other and the soup was salted out really poor food

02/01/2026: We have a family night out each Christmas and, for the second year in a row, went to Marco Polo. Lovely food, atmosphere and the staff were excellent 💯

02/01/2026: A very average restaurant for the prices being charged. €25 for a small bland burger and €6 additional for greasy onion rings. Staff too busy to have any conversation or above and beyond service, very robotic and transactional. Overall extremely expensive for the average quality of food
