The best restaurants in Limerick

17/07/2025: First time I've been to Texas Steakout but will definitely be back. Food was good, service excellent and we had a great evening.

14/07/2025: Top notch as always. Such a lovely friendly atmosphere and great table service. Always feels like such a treat to go here and the cocktails are fab too!!

15/07/2025: Loved the place. The service was amazing. The bar staff were so helpful and kind. The cocktails were FANTASTIC! and it wasn't super pricey either. It was a lovely experience.

06/07/2025: I have eaten here a few times during my visit to Limerick. The steak sandwich and brie salad were excellent! I also had the smaller Irish breakfast was very good and extremely filling. Stop in a enjoy the food and relaxed atmosphere.

19/05/2025: Super clean hotel, located on the Shanon River, friendly staff, helpful and kind! But eating in the in-house restaurant is only for gourmets. We came on our tour from Bantry, unpacked and explored the town, were really hungry, went into the restaurant and were looking forward to the food, it was beautifully presented but we didn't get full, although the breakfast was great!!!

17/06/2025: It was good (but I didn't have any food just coffee). It doesn't stand out but good, its about 50c cheaper than cafe Nero for similar taste but downside is it opens late at 8am.

09/06/2025: We hired Happy Dough Lucky for our wedding day two event and they were fantastic. Everyone was saying how delicious the pizzas were and the service was brilliant. Made the whole process so easy for us from start to finish - would definitely recommend!

09/07/2025: Personalized luxury care in Limerick City Center! The greeting by concierge Sharron couldn’t have been any warmer nor informative! We loved the convenience of the townhouse suites being 3 steps from the historic building and the lively cafe on site. A delicious complimentary breakfast energized us for touring lovely Limerick. Also terrific was the basement workout and steam room and parlor with all-you-want espressos, teas, and chocolates. On the last day of our stay, I was in this parlor, struggling to empty the espresso machine, when room staff member Anna went out of way to help…and bring new pods for the efficient machine. Before heading off to her early morning duties, Anna made sure I didn’t need anything else and bade me a wonderful day. So glad we chose the Bedford House for our stay!

19/05/2025: Excellent food and coffee with very friendly efficient service from all staff. I’ve been here a number of times now, and always enjoy my meal, and look forward to each visit. Nice choice of the usual breakfast dishes, always nicely cooked. Coffee excellent. The staff are superb, welcoming and helpful. Highly highly recommended.

13/07/2025: So... I gave 5 stars to this restaurant I see... Unfortunately I'm forced to change it to max 3 stars at the moment. I used to looooove this place with my fiance . We were eating food here at every occasion like birthdays, Valentine's Day etc. The food used to be lovely in this place. Portions were perfect. Nowadays it's just 'ok'. The burgers are 14 euros and don't come with chips. You have to pay over 5e per portion which makes average size burger and chips almost 20 euro. The beer prices are normal. Fajitas which were used to be my choice number 1 are gone from menu for some reason... In general it's a huge disappointment at the moment and I'm looking forward to see any changes.

13/07/2025: Went to the Tequila Rooms pop-up in Coqbull for dinner with some family and honestly I'd give this pop-up a miss and just go into the regular restaurant. The nibbles are overpriced, they are just a starter portion amount and nothing can justify €9 for a single taco.... The food is nice, boneless wings were delicious but a portion was only 5 boneless wings for €10.50. Service was great, can't fault them there but I just felt the Tequila Room pop-up was just overpriced.

05/07/2025: Well worth a visit good food service and value staff are so friendly and a good laugh. 26.6.25 early bird great value cocktails were perfectly made.

09/06/2025: We got a lovely welcome from Julia. The hotel is very quaint with excellent food..albeit it very boutique . I also enjoyed my Spa treatment with Ray. The location is excellent. There is a nice park adjacent and the next door Georgian house museum NO 2 pery square is well worth a visit.. unfortunately our small bedroom was not in the original part of the house . The twin beds were very very narrow and the pillows quite hard. However, the place was very clean. There is no parking available except street parking which is free at the weekend. We did not feel comfortable parking my sisters car in that area and justifiable so because we found it well scratched on the right rear door. We did not notice this till we arrived at the next vacation stop. However, it was a lovely luxurious experience and I hope to return with my husband by train from Galway.

04/06/2025: Our only regret is that we only spent one night here. Exquisite hotel. Service that takes one back in time. Exceptional. The rooms are spacious. Loved the extras, like an old timey radio playing in the room upon entry. The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel we have ever stayed in. We will hopefully get to come again.
