13/09/2024: Downgrading from 5 to 1 star as I had the weirdest experience when I asked if I could check if my friend was in sidethe bar. This staff member was really aggressive and "possibly" (most likely) drunk or on something, I was laughed at and told by some guy on the door who was obviously not a bouncer or had any training, that I was lying and in fact I wasn't actually there to meet somebody because he knew who was inside as he checked everybody in.... incredible ability since the nutter hadn't even asked me my friends name!!! When I asked him how he knew the name of the person as I hadn't yet given him a name he got aggressive and again claimed I was not there to meet somebody. Eventually he said "OK what's the persons name?" When I gave him the name HE LAUGHED AND CLAIMED I HAD MADE THE NAME UP AND DOESN'T EXIST!!!!!!!! This was at 6.30pm and I had no drink taken which I doubt was the case for the staff members. Weird

03/11/2024: Beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere. Went for the three course menu at 39euro per head. Starter and desert were lovely however, the main meal was one of worst I have ever had. Two dried out lumps of pork served in a bowl of mashed carrot with a few peas mixed in. The look of it put me off and was not as described on the menu. It looked more like something you would give a dog. Husbands meal was much better anstaff we're very nice. Overall would recommend but don't get the pork!!!

28/10/2024: I took pancakes and my friend took fresh toast. it was just like a plain cake and bread. Not so good, not soft. Recommend the place to try other foods but not pancake and french toast.

29/09/2024: Edit: I was maybe a bit harsh with this review. IPA was bitter and not great, but the political messaging in the place is a real turn off to people who don’t already subscribe to those belief systems. I think you’re turning away customers with that kind of stuff.

23/08/2024: Lovely pub but music very loud. No escape, even outside. Not my kind of music (disco I'm told) but everyone else seemed happy enough. Really nice pub otherwise. Very mixed crowd which is always nice.
