15/06/2026: This might be the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever tasted. We had a last minute request and the result was stunning. The icing was light and not too sweet and the chocolate tasted like the best of a brownie and the best of a cake put together. The decorating was next level, and pictures do not do it justice. We will be coming back for ALL our cakes in the future. She was also so kind and easy to work with. I just can’t say enough good things. Can’t wait for our next birthday!

03/09/2026: For years I have heard of the Launch as the "dodgy bar with a doorbell", but one day I decide to go in and investigate this establishment for myself... And little did I know... I fell in love with it... From being able to get a good quality midday pint at a more than fair price? What's not to love, the pub has provided the best deal I have ever seen for a stout being three pints of Beamish for 13 Euros. Now that deal is no longer available, a standard pint of Beamish is 5 Euros exact. There are one or two other bars in the city which offer a similar price, but the difference is that the Launchs Beamish is a solid 7/10 pint. Besides the pints, the atmosphere there is exceptional and the bar staff are A1. It's a great spot to meet a friend, chat to a stranger or even have a quiet corner to yourself. The Launch has become my number one go to bar in the city.

08/08/2026: First time eating here as a coeliac which always comes with its challenges but our waitress Michelle was absolutely on the ball, as soon as I told her about my dietary restrictions she reassured me that it would be no problem and informed me of all the ways in which they avoid cross contamination putting my mind at ease. She was an absolute breath of fresh air with a vibrant and endearing personality and clearly a very hard worker and asset to the team. As a coeliac I would definitely recommend dining here. 19/07/2026: Best hotel ever. Atmosphere warm, staff helpful, friendly and paying attention to little details. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom just perfects. The swimming pool are was under refurbishment however the swimming pool itself was good size to swim. Garden area was perdect for spend time there.

28/06/2026: Older but that's the charm, I thought. The room I got was much more spacious than expected - upside of old buildings in many cases. Reasonably attentive service by the staff, and good food -- albeit relatively excessive quantity. The food quantity could be reduced for a bit less pricing, which would help them increase revenue. Very busy hotel with locals who dine and have events, too.

28/07/2026: This is an adorable coffee shop with really nice staff. The sandwiches, croissants, and lemon iced tea were amazing. They are dog friendly!

22/07/2026: I like this place. Very tasty coffee and cheesecakes, and you can enjoy all this while looking out over the River Shannon.
