22/06/2026: Awesome hot dawgs! Got some yesterday and it made our day. Definitely recommend the Plain Jane and the Asian Dawg - the staff were very good to modify the Plane Jane to suit dietary preferences. Very good value for the prices too, because the hot dawgs were nice and big and a full meal in themselves. Staff were nice and friendly, and the food was done nice and quickly. Definitely recommend this spot and no doubt we'll be returning.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

13/09/2025: Small but super cute, went there on a late Saturday afternoon to read a book and got a place to sit, I imagine it would be very hard to find a seat at breakfast/lunchtime. The single seats are unfortunately high seats so a bit uncomfortable to stay longer then 30ish mins but I understand they're there to save on space. The coffee was nice and I got a super cute design, I also got a brownie and it was fab, not too sweet. Highly recommend

17/02/2026: The cake I ordered did not have a good jam-to-cream filling between the layers; the only thing I could taste was icing sugar, and the cake itself was flavourless, not even the slightest bit sweet. The icing sugar overpowered everything.

28/06/2026: The food was acceptable but the duck was not cooked completely. Likes ths environment and atmosphere but when going to toilet you should expect and old and bad conditions like drier not working. Overall good, but not excited to visit again maybe after a year to see any new things.

01/07/2026: Staff was great. Plenty of menu and drink options. The food was delicious. Sweet and Sour chicken and Chicken Carbonara was excellent. Bathrooms were very clean. There is a step up to get into the toilet though so if you had a couple of drinks, watch your step. It was not noisy at all. Liked all the memorabilia on the walls. Highly recommend.

13/06/2026: Went in there last night for a takeaway with my son after travelling down 80 miles to watch treaty united v bray Wanderers. Before our journey home we called into fuscos we both ordered a quarter pounder meal and a portion of onion rings. The chips were plentiful and tasty,the burger was lovely moist and well dressed and the onion rings were lovely. Great value, tasty food and a definite return next time I'm down well done ✅

18/07/2026: Food is good but staff is so rude they stare at you with a straight face whilst your eating they make you feel uncomfortable and you can sense the fake kindness and you see them laughing together talking about you

13/06/2026: Pharmacia is one of the places where I feel most comfortable and one that I keep coming back to. It’s probably the most alternative bar in the city right now, with a unique atmosphere and great vibe. I highly recommend it!

19/01/2026: Munster rugby days ...always good to visit Shannon clubhouse providing great pints, quick service and real meaty..firegrill tasty burgers, hotdogs, etc., in complimentary food stalls.
