29/01/2026: 5/5 — Chicken Hut Changed Me as a Person I came into Chicken Hut hungry. I left enlightened. The chicken tender meal was unreal, golden, crispy on the outside, impossibly juicy on the inside, seasoned so perfectly it felt intentional, almost sacred. Each bite didn’t just taste good, it transcended my taste buds. This is chicken that knows its purpose. The chips were hot, fluffy, generously seasoned, and refusing to be ignored. Main-character energy. The Coke was ice-cold and sharp, the perfect reset between bites. And the service? Impeccable. The Eastern European legend behind the till was calm, polite, and effortlessly professional, the kind of presence that makes you trust the food before you even taste it. A true asset to the place. Chicken Hut isn’t just food, it’s an experience. I didn’t just eat here. I was changed here. Will be back. Probably tomorrow.

19/09/2025: Food was delicious, we had the Breakfast Dawg and Roast Beef Bagel. Great coffee and the lemon tart was the best I've ever eaten! Staff were so friendly and gave us some great recommendations for our travels. Also treated our little boy to some marshmallows which he loved!

18/02/2026: This is a very nice Hotel. The room is extremely spacious, for the most part very clean and very tidy. The location is excellent. Walking distance from Limerick city centre Some attention is required though. At check in, I was somewhat disappointed to be left standing, then to add when I was greeted the FOH then proceeded into another phone call after starting to serve me. There was some more attention required when I reached my room. Left over decorations from valentines were not cleaned up from the room I was given and the shower head wouldn’t stay up while I attempted to shower. I reported this to the reception the next morning and everything was addressed. Had these issues not been addressed by the staff so well I would be disappointed, but on the contrary very well handled. I would recommend this hotel as a result.

18/02/2026: Very comfortable rooms with responsive and helpful staff. Well located for walking to museums and attractions. Meals available in the restaurant.

01/10/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOOD!!! bought a curry cheese chip well it was supposed to be a curry cheese chip and its all mush stuck together and there charging €5.00 for this!! Absolute RIP OFF !!! SCANDALOUS PRICES!! very small and bearly any curry on the chips it was more like mash very dry pure laziness they just slapped it together no consideration for there customers always a problem in this chipper if its not them giving the wrong change or wrong order there just being lazy im a regular customer coming here the past 10 years its not the same as it used to be very bad customer service every time i come to this chipper they’re either too busy talking to each other and not serving the customers or on their phones what are they getting paid for? Too sit around talking all day? when u ring and tell them the problem they tell u noting they can do i will not be coming to this chipper ever again!! WASTE OF MONEY!!

16/08/2025: Lovely cafe attached to the Hunt Museum currently holding an exhibition about the life of Richard Harris born in Limerick. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internal and external seating on the banks of the majestic River Shannon

03/07/2025: We had a bbq here yesterday evening for a conference we are hosting in Limerick for about 70 people. The food was amazing. The staff were just brilliant and made everyone feel comfortable. I have to say it was just a beautiful setting. The whole experience was just top class.

28/09/2025: Good venue. Toilets are very clean. I was here for a christening, I really enjoyed it. The DJ was very good. Good smoking area at the back for anyone who smokes. Live music. Best bar in Limerick The food here is incredible. From chips to cocktail sausages to chicken goujons, this place has so much to offer
