The best restaurants in Limerick

18/10/2026: Wonderful staff, very cooperative, calm atmosphere with delicious food.

11/10/2026: It’s not ‘Turkish’ grill. It’s not tasty. It’s not something place you would like to eat in. If you have no choice in the night time, go to burger chains, at least you can have a happy stomach in the bed before sleep. Sorry guys, I had a bad experience and never go back again.

09/10/2026: I liked the food, I liked the service, but I didn't like the architecture of the place; it doesn't look like an Italian restaurant, more like a McDonald's from the 90s, it feels like I've gone back in time.

28/07/2026: Got food poisoning the time I went here so no def wouldn’t recommend

07/09/2026: Tables not cleaned impossible to eat food on wet and Dirty tables and the person who is looking after cleaning the cleaning tables is just sitting down and not doing her job

26/08/2026: We didn't eat here and I hadn't been in years, but we had a great night, music was brilliant and staff were very friendly. Great night, will be back.

30/09/2026: Great pub with excellent service! Good to come to between lectures. Don’t miss out on Techno Tuesdays!

30/07/2026: The atmosphere is lovely, the drinks are delicious, and the service is very attentive and friendly. The food wasn't quite to my taste; pub grub isn't really my thing.

15/09/2026: Really good chicken wrap! 🌯 The food was fresh, tasty and filling, and the price was very reasonable. Great value for money, especially for a 24-hour shop. Will definitely come back again! 👍

23/08/2026: The staff were very rude and unhelpful. I had a bad experience with them and they did not treat customers nicely. I hope their service and behaviour improve.

10/10/2026: Great food in a lovely location

11/09/2026: I tried this restaurant, which is listed in the Hachette guide. We were very disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering the price. The setting is attractive, with a beautiful white colonial-style house and a clean, pleasant dining room. There's a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €80, with only a few amuse-bouches available for an additional charge. The dishes were adequate, nothing more, with bland presentation and very small portions. There was no real excitement in the very, very quiet atmosphere. The setting isn't everything.

17/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. The internet in the Darvin conference room was extremely poor and we lost a full day for our AI hackathon. Staff were also constantly passing through the room from the kitchen, making it unsuitable for a professional meeting. It is not suitable for a professional conference. Despite these issues—and spending over €800 on four team meals—we were still charged €200 for the conference room.

24/05/2026: Nice quiet well run hotel with friendly staff & a good restaurant.

29/09/2026: We had family come visit us over the weekend, and we chose to take them out to Bambu. We made the right choice, as the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of both Indian and Thai dishes. Some of the dishes I would recommend include: Bambu Beef, Crispy Chilli Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Chicken Tikka Garlic Bhuna. The naans we ordered were very soft and perfectly made. The waiters were very friendly, and asked us about our taste preferences. The food was served in a very timely manner. They also provided poppadoms with various sauces while we waited.

11/09/2026: One of the best places in Limerick to eat out, really nice food in a central location and very friendly staff

07/09/2026: I have ordered the massaman with beef and the slow-cooked beef massaman numerous times in different orders so I am aware that the meat used in either option is different/differing cuts. However, I ordered the massaman with beef yesterday for delivery and it was disgusting - the sauce was so watery, the beef looked more like pork than beef and was extremely tough and basically inedible. I have contacted the courier (UberEats) who were unhelpful but honestly if this is the meat that is being used in all of the beef dishes now, it’s a quality issue within the restaurant itself. The pictures attached are of the massaman immediately after being plated up.

12/08/2026: We had lunch today and everything was delicious...the pai tai was superb and the chicken with teriyaki was very good. The service was attentive and thorough. Thank you!

30/06/2026: Good food good prices. Take away only .

27/07/2026: Staff member at dundrum was extremely kind to my daughter and served her just as shop was closing when she didn’t have to.

30/06/2026: I had to stop by here before heading back home to US. I got the Oreo ( the thicker of the two that were available, like a bar style) and the NYC Chocolate Chip which were recommended out of the four I wanted. Definitely really good, both of them. Girl at the counter was friendly. Glad I stopped by.

30/09/2026: Absolutely brilliant staff doctors nurses etc but very bad parking for blue badge holders. Highly recommended esp dr Ali dr Sarah Ryan Katie in diabetes sept 2026

22/07/2026: Experience in st John's hospital the best from the staff and doctors thank you all

29/08/2026: Great traditional pub in Limerick City Centre, always go here when we're in Limerick. We went there recently and had a few Beamish which were lovely. The service was excellent as with previous visits.

04/05/2026: Refused to serve a friend of mine for crazy reasons. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

03/08/2026: Nice little takeaway with friendly staff.

10/07/2026: Don't bother placing an order as they'll take you're hard earned cash after stating payment has been declined and no confirmation email received, I have been charged twice for one order that doesn't even exist on their system..... Absolutely appalling franchise behavior.
