23/03/2025: Overall experience here lovely Absolutely amazing staff very friendly and accommodating. Parking across the road ok but when having kids and strollers tough maybe because it was snowing and cold outside but for a couple would be fine or travelling solo.

23/02/2025: Recently stayed at the Savoy Limerick, check in was smooth and efficient. Rooms are well equipped and clean but a bit dark due to city centre location. Location is perfect for walking around. We selected breakfast to be included - floor service (no buffet) which is lovely and the dinning staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast it's self was fine , the fresh orange juice and granola pot were great however the bacon omelette was definitely not pan made it was colourless and way to thick so tasted a bit rubbery. The full breakfast, the sausage was under cooked and similarly the scrambled egg was again rubbery. The above being said we did enjoy the hotel.

03/03/2025: Bowling Alley Shoe Complaint Last Friday evening, after a dinner party, we decided to go bowling. Upon arrival 1st time in life , we were asked to change into bowling shoes for health and safety reasons. Issues Encountered: Slippery Rental Shoes: The provided shoes were extremely slippery and offered no safety benefits. Inadequate Replacement: After complained, the staff provided a different pair that immediately came off my feet on the first attempt to bowl. Refusal to Allow Personal Footwear: When I opted to wear my own shoes for safety, the manager insisted on rental shoes. Conclusion: The bowling alley's insistence on unsafe rental shoes significantly detracted from the experience. Refusal and Argument: I opted to wear my own shoes, citing safety concerns. The female manager insisted I wear their shoes, even though I explained that mine were safer. She became upset, arguing that customers were making the floor dirty and it was difficult to clean. Cleanliness over Safety: I pointed out that cleaning is part of their job and that floor cleanliness should not be prioritized over customer safety. The bowling alley staff seemed more concerned with keeping the floors clean than providing safe footwear for their customers. Took my money back and get out because the they lied.

22/01/2025: Spent 4 months here for work. First 2 months were grand as I was in the lifestyle rooms on the third floor. The rest of my stay has been in the "executive rooms" on the 2nd floor. When I checked in I was warned by reception that they can be loud. Work books the rooms so I have no option in what rooms are booked. If theres live music playing your right above it, thankfully they dont play late or very often so its fine. The problem is the rooms are also right beside the rooms used for conferences and meetings. The hotel waits till midnight if they have to rearrange the rooms/clean them. It takes them 50 minutes to an hour to do, in this time theres a load of banging of chairs and noisy carts being pushed around. Im actually writing this in the middle of them doing it 12:50am midweek. Why they wait till midnight to start a noisy job that takes about an hour to complete is beyond me. avoid the executive rooms/rooms on 2nd floor if possible.

18/03/2025: Lovely staff!!!!! Good location in town!!!!But .......I got the vegan paid Thai and it was horrible oily/ greasy /too wet. Not dry. No peanuts!????!!!?? Wtf???!!? I was expecting real pad Thai from Thailand with peanuts! . The best pad Thai I had was in Bangkok. The chef here in Aura is obviously not real Thai chef. Probably Indian chef? My mom got the Indian/Chinese (sweet and sour) and said batter was too chewy/soggy. We both didn't finish our main dishes. It was awful food. Obviously, we didn't get desserts. The wine was lovely and staff very nice and polite. But food was awful. 77 euro for dinner, on very busy Friday night bank holiday weekend (Paddy's day weekend), Sorry, We deffo won't return.

14/03/2025: It’s the latest Indian dine-in restaurant in Limerick. The Indian food taste is decent. They have lots of choices of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Food portion is good too. They are not in delivery food app yet (justeat/UnberEats). If you are in Limerick and looking for Indian food, then you should try here. Staffs are helpful and friendly.

16/03/2025: Yesterday, I was followed by a man from the train station to Peoples Park. I was sitting on the grass up against a tree when this same man walked off the path and approached me in an aggressive manner. When I arrived into Peoples Park Cafe I was clearly shaken and had a disability dog with me. The manager or staff member immediately said no to my disability dog being allowed into the premises but eventually they allowed him after I reminded the staff of the law. People with disabilities shouldn't have to constantly defend themselves. When I said I had been followed by a man the manager scoffed, smirked and said, "you were followed by a child was it?" When I asked him what he meant by his insensitive comment he said nothing just smirked again. I think this kind of behaviour is extremely worrying and shouldn't be condoned. I've made an official report. I was very shaken up and as a woman reached out for help but was met with misogyny. Shameful and completely unprofessional. I won't be returning again in the future.

30/10/2024: Find this place overly modern and a bit over priced. The coffees are okey but do not stand out compared to other places in Limerick. The food is okey but the same with the prices. It may be better for someone who is more eager to spend a little more for there money, this is also the demographic of people you will find here more often.

Baby girl is in hospital.I said I would go over and get a couple of pints I was told that I had too much to drink Which I didn't drink any alcohol whatsoever I think it's just a way not serving a traveller And every time I asked him he told me the same thing you've had too much to drink.You've had too much to drink Which I think is totally unacceptable Behave your in 2025 Things like this have to stop happening have to be put to an end Accepted racism at its best Has got to stop full stop I going to forwarded over to my solicitor And made complaint in the garda station thank you Reading

16/03/2025: Always liked here but the quality has really gone down hill. First we had to give back the glasses for our water, they had a white residue that smelled of sour milk. The chicken in my cesar salad was inedible rubber. The curry has so much sauce it should be a soup. The child's pasta was clearly reheated. Got €2.50 off my meal after saying the chicken was awful. Won't be back.

21/01/2025: I love this place but today the waitress was upset (why take it out on us?!) And the pizza was served room temp at best. Previous rating was 5 stars. Hope next time will be better (and not our last).
