03/04/2025: The café had a strong, rotten smell that made the visit very unpleasant

30/03/2025: I was very disappointed with our visit here. 4 of us came for Friday lunch. We were waiting 50 minutes for our sandwiches to arrive. We were never approached by any staff to explain the delay. I will not be back.

26/04/2025: Ordered food to be delivered just gone 10.30pm, it's now 12.10am and you are after closing. If you're not going to send the food at least have the decency to contact the customer. Absolutely ridiculous, manager should be held accountable for the goons behind the counter.

19/04/2025: Was harassed here by an Eddie going back a few months ago but everytime I leave a review about it it’s deleted. He treated me like dirt followed me to my seat roaring I ended up getting a refund cause I didn’t feel safe after how I was treated. I will continue to post until it’s left up. People be warned.

03/05/2025: The bowling was fun. Not much else there to do.

21/04/2025: Not great tbh. Same games they when I was last there. Time Crisis 2 for example 🤦🏻‍♂️ Other than that mostly crane machines with oversized soft toys that you can't grab. If you're not into bowling I'd give this a miss.

19/04/2025: I absolutely love this place. You’ll find most of the asian cuisines here and trust me it’s all so good. Whatever I have tried so far, nothing disappointed me. Great food, good quantity and good taste. Totally worth the money. Highly recommended!

01/03/2025: I had high expectations after reading the reviews, but this was truly disappointing! We ordered green curry, Singapore noodles, yaki soba, gyoza, spring rolls, and prawns, and honestly, nothing was fresh. ❌ Frozen Starters – The gyoza and spring rolls tasted like they came straight from the freezer. As a dim sum lover, I’ve never wasted food, but this was inedible. ❌ Lack of Freshness – Every dish lacked authentic flavors and felt reheated rather than freshly prepared. ❌ Overhyped Reviews – The positive reviews were misleading; I don’t understand how this place is rated so well! I would never recommend this place—not even worth one star from me! If you’re looking for authentic, fresh Asian food, avoid this place.

29/04/2025: Mislesding Lunch prices advertised at the door. One sign advertising a lunch as 14.95 and I was informed by the manger it was only Monday to Friday but the sign as you can see doesn't state this As for the food the Philly beef steak was completely tasteless which I think is a sign it's gone off or going off . Last time I persevered with dodgy food I paid dearly

20/03/2025: The place is clean and harmonious, but the service of an old lady is a drawback. She doesn't seem to like children. The food is good, but I won't go back. Because where my son is not well received, I don't fit in either. She doesn't even greet you with a good morning or good evening, the first thing she asks is, do you want a high chair for the baby? The oriental gentleman at the bar is very pleasant. Signs on the door saying to take the stairs and not the lift, I thought that was inhumane. Very inquisitorial signs, close the door as if the people going in were free. I recommend being gentle and light, as you leave your home to eat and not to feel regulated as if it were a dictatorial prison.

08/04/2025: Ok. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good staff. . Building standards in ireland have never been good, the cheap build is showing now, cracks and gaps here and there, nithing major. Maintenance team do what they can. Mediocre breakfast. Choice of rubbery fried egg or waterlogged scrambled egg. Rashers are pretty good. Good coffee from the filter jug, glad someone is keeping filter coffee going.

22/01/2025: Spent 4 months here for work. First 2 months were grand as I was in the lifestyle rooms on the third floor. The rest of my stay has been in the "executive rooms" on the 2nd floor. When I checked in I was warned by reception that they can be loud. Work books the rooms so I have no option in what rooms are booked. If theres live music playing your right above it, thankfully they dont play late or very often so its fine. The problem is the rooms are also right beside the rooms used for conferences and meetings. The hotel waits till midnight if they have to rearrange the rooms/clean them. It takes them 50 minutes to an hour to do, in this time theres a load of banging of chairs and noisy carts being pushed around. Im actually writing this in the middle of them doing it 12:50am midweek. Why they wait till midnight to start a noisy job that takes about an hour to complete is beyond me. avoid the executive rooms/rooms on 2nd floor if possible.

24/05/2025: Just ordered online , the food comes cold and very hard. Fanny Box of food with loads curry sauce, not much quality meat. Noodles with no flavour. Waist of money. Still hungry and very disappointed

17/05/2025: Used to really like this spot, it was the mother and fathers local when working in Dunnes back in the day. Sadly won’t be going back, had a terrible experience with Timmy’s son. Went in one night in a suit after an event to which he told me “remove the tie and I’ll think of serving you”, when I laughed it off as a joke he got visibly angry and barked that “kids like you have been doing my head in all night, take it off or get out!” Like a lot of other pubs in limerick, discriminating against younger patron’s unfortunately, just because he had issues with someone of a similar age the same night.

09/05/2025: Just a small pub, good Guinness and I love the tunes. You can sit outside and watch all the mad people rush around.

29/03/2025: Best sushi in Limerick. For me it’s mo about takeaway restaurant, as inside it’s not comfortable. They forgot to put souses, but next time I will check

27/04/2025: Bambu’s foods are amazing every single food is amazing but problem is waiter, he doesn’t hear me when I ready to order or when I need something, sometimes I think he is purposely ignoring me to get more attention from me

25/04/2025: I think this is the best indian i've ever had. However, I ordered Lamb Korma and received about two pieces of lamb, the rest of the meat was beef. Thought it was sneaky! Because I like the place I will give it another chance.

10/05/2025: Absolutely disgraceful experience. If I could give Zero stars I would. While at this pub today, my sister and I noticed a dog locked inside a hot car. We brought it to the attention of Eileen, the owner, who casually brushed it off with, “The dog is fine, the owner’s just having a drink.” No concern, no action, just an arrogant tone and complete disregard for animal welfare. Forty minutes later, with the dog still in the car my sister went outside to check on the dog. Eileen came over and asked me, “Where’s your friend?” (not realising we’re sisters). When I said she was outside, she immediately asked, “Is this about the dog?” I said yes and she snapped, “Tell her to stay out of it it’s none of her business.” She then went outside, raised her voice at my sister in front of other customers, and told her again to mind her own business. Her behaviour was loud, confrontational, and deeply unprofessional. It genuinely seemed like she had been drinking herself. On top of all this, Eileen defended the man who left the dog in the car who was also drink driving. She knowingly served alcohol to someone getting back behind the wheel, which is not just irresponsible, it’s illegal. Frankly, her liquor license should be reviewed or revoked. To make it even worse, this family-run pub has a clear pattern of racism. White men are greeted with warmth and smiles while men of colour are treated coldly and dismissively. This is completely unacceptable. Eileen's attitude was arrogant, aggressive, and shockingly unfit for someone running a public business. She showed no concern for animal welfare, the law, or basic decency. This is a toxic, unsafe environment please avoid it completely.

07/01/2025: Best craic , fantastic renovation, excellent bar staff and parking told by my visitor from eu they had the best served cold Guinness in ireland. Fantastic atmosphere here! . 5 🌟 highly recommend. Grainne Gillespie. Limerick city.
