01/02/2025: We loved our stay. The staff were fantastic as was the food and bar. The room was quite basic and a little tired as welll as small for 2. Room 105. The shower head needs changing. It was hard to change the temperature on the shower. Need conditioner as well as shampoo. But loved that you had Smart TV. Even with the feedback on the room we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you xx

23/01/2025: This is the second time I have stayed here and once again the moment we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The room was perfect and the bar/restaurant has a great atmosphere. Excellent service and great food. What an amazing breakfast also. Amazing hosts always going above and beyond.

03/02/2025: We had lunch and dinner here. It was quiet for lunch, with a cosy fire burning beside us. Lovely on a chilly day! We came back in the evening for dinner. The oysters and Guiness were fantastic, and at the end of the evening a music session started. Great service, lovely people and a fantastic place to spend some quiet hours.

02/02/2025: Great and very fresh sea food, I could say is one of the best sea food dishes I’ve had in Ireland. I loved this place, if in the area you need to visit.

13/12/2024: Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. 18/01/2025: Had a fantastic experience at Ruby Ellen’s. We had our dog with us and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We sat in the garden area which was very comfortable (even in January!) and the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious. We will be back as soon as possible!

22/12/2024: Very good food. Ordered fish and chips lovely and fresh. Chips really nice. Partner ordered wings he did say was really worth it for the price of them. But he loved the Duck. Child got chicken tenders and chips same again nice and fresh. Nicely decorated and cosy staff very friendly

22/01/2025: Food is always absolutely Delish and staff always attentive and pleasant. Even when busy get a drink and sit at the bar. They will even arrive with Menus and take your food order. Then once seated to your table your not waiting long for the food to arrive

02/01/2025: We took dinner on December 31st. A table must be reserved in advance. The restaurant is small and cramped, but this adds some charm to the place. Large selection of wine. The dishes are delicious and original. When we arrived it was completely booked, people love this place. We took two starters and two main course, a bottle of water and second-hand beer. Paid 91 euros. The dishes are quite filling, considering the small portions and are based on vegetables. We've been wanting to go here for a long time, and overall we're happy. The photo shows the starters.

02/12/2024: Delicious food. Friendly service that was able to accommodate substitutions. Wish this restaurant was in Dublin. Can’t wait to go back! Edit: Came back 5 months later from Dublin. Third time this year. Service was again top notch and all the food we ordered was outstanding. Highly recommend their fried chicken, croquettes, corn ribs, pasta, soup… Truth be told, we haven’t tasted anything here that wasn’t next level. All of it is infused with innovative flavours that I haven’t had elsewhere and evidently keeps my husband and me coming back for more! I tell all my friends about this place. It’s also lovely to be able to watch the star chef work passionately in the kitchen from the dining room. He clearly cooks with love. Don’t miss the chance to dine here if you have the opportunity.
