14/06/2026: We walked in the restaurant based on great reviews here on Google Maps. We were travelling from Canada. Service wasnt good. Lacking eye contact. It felt awkward so we didnt order another round. We just got up and left. We stayed at many places and had a great trip but this restaurant made us feel awkward or outcasts. I dont know what it was but it was weird. The meal was excellent though.

10/06/2026: I was delighted to be part of a group from Dundalk Food & Drink that visited The Windsor at the end of May, when we were treated to a showcase of the best food that the restaurant has to offer. I enjoyed my choice of a starter of chicken & mushroom risotto, followed by a tasty (and generous) hake tempura with saffron sauce. Marieta Rías Baixas Albariño 2024 and Segredos de São Miguel Alentejano 2023 were the wines on offer. A warm welcome and excellent service added greatly to our visit. 👏👏👏 to all the staff!

21/08/2026: Very disappointed, usually top marks when visiting but ate here today and not pleased at all. The food was frozen and not the best flavour wise, other family members plates were also frozen food 😒 literally had a plate of frozen chips with my 'main' as the side. Not happy and won't be returning sadly.

21/08/2026: VERY DISSAPPOINTED TODAY AN ALWAYS HAD SAID THIS WAS A GREAT HOUSE FOR FOOD BUT AFTER TODAY WONT B RETURNING COS ALL MY FOOD WAS ALL FROM FROZEN EVEN THE CHIPS WERE JUST STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FREEZER VERY BAD

13/08/2026: The entrance can be difficult to find, but once you're there it's 100% worth it. Food is very good, multiple vegetarian options available and the staff is just lovely.

08/08/2026: Some of the staff werent overly friendly ...steak sandwhiches should come with 2 bits of bread hence the name sandwhich and also no mushrooms witch normally u would get with steak sandwhich as your paying 21.50 . Should be more choices of flavours for the kids icecream menu as there waw only vanilla... some of the staff should be abit more welcoming walked out and 2 walked by not even bye or thanks or nothing also the youngfella working there would need some manners and skills to cummunicate i spoke twice amd bearly got an answer
