22/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a fantastic meal at Nonna Nenne in Dundalk! We had a group of nine and every single one of us loved the food fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned. The service was warm and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The whole experience felt like sitting down to dinner in a family home, relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommended!

01/12/2025: Amazing place, a sanctuary, good food, good mood; John was always so nice to me and my partner through all the years we frequented; got us thru some tough times, had some really happy moments here. Only stopped going because covid, and they kept us fed with breakfast lunch dinner thru their takeout service, utterly indispensable resource, no overstatement. I only get to go in the odd Sunday morning these days (i was in at 10am yesterday, xmas tree, decorations, fireside, beautiful). Had the full breakfast, outstanding quality, as usual. My one, tiny issue, was that when i was served, the radio was changed from low volume relaxing 90s brit pop (my fave) to large/high volume, thudding, national/local talk radio. Completely ruined the atmosphere, and i said as much (didnt acknowledge or turn it down when i politely asked either). I will be back though, this place is like a second home to me, thank you again J&J, best, Shane, Bog Rd.

30/11/2025: From start to finish we were really impressed with this hotel. Beautiful old wordly decor and atmosphere. Hotel organised taxi for us to go to the TLT. Fantastic friendly staff. We had a beautiful dinner and breakfast served to our table. We would come back definitely. A lovely experience and we highly recommend this hotel.

09/12/2025: Stopped for dinner en route to Monaghan, very nice pub with lovely food, drinks expensive at €7 for a Pint of Coors.

06/10/2025: PERFECT!!! Food PERFECT! Location, environment, ambience, PERFECT! Have dined as a pair and as a larger group. I would come everyday if I could. Staff are attentive and fun. There was a young girl who was vegan that gave fantastic recommendations and was so friendly, so a special shout out goes to her!!! The tofu steak - out of this world. Fantastic value for money. Miso soup is the best I have ever had. The avocado sushi is so creamy and decadent. The food is something to be proud of. Amazing that it is in Dundalk!!! A large group of us were there for work last week, and still got a few days, and I’m doing everything in my power to try convince everyone to go because everyone must experience Atami. Thank you very much. Wine served perfectly and crisp.

24/11/2025: Great atmosphere, live music, great staff! We don’t have any food so cannot comment on food but really good for an evening out and the customers are super friendly and fun.

27/11/2025: I’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages after hearing such great things from friends. I finally got the chance last weekend and brought my mum and I can safely say it did not disappoint. The meal was flawless from start to finish. The broccoli side was one of the nicest side dishes I’ve ever had and I’d return for that alone. The little truffles to end the evening were perfect. The staff were super friendly and Conor went around and checked on all the tables which was a lovely personal touch. I’ll definitely be back as there were so many things I wanted to try. Hopefully the spicy margarita will still be on the menu. 10/10

19/11/2025: Was here a few weeks back the waitress was very rude my mother is 80 and we asked for soup and a sandwich she replied in literally one breath," we don't do sandwiches on a Sunday,I need the table back by 3pm and use will be finished by then so that doesn't really apply" I was gobsacked even the couple beside us said she was so rude.

30/11/2025: Best steak and good value if you choose deal menue on Thursday. Nice atmosphere.

23/11/2025: Terrible experience all round in this establishment. I had booked weeks previously, rang beforehand to request a booth in the front bar area and was assured that we were already assigned this and would not be moved. Arrived on the night and was told it was unavailable despite being able to clearly see a booth in the front bar was available. One of my party queried why we couldn't have the booth. At this point the manager arrived to say the booth was unavailable and would not budge on the matter. I asked if the booth was booked by someone more important than us and the manager said yes that this was the case. We sat in our allocated seat out the back and then decided to leave as we didn't want to spend our money in such an elitist establishment. Such an awful way to run a restaurant. We won't be back and will make sure to tell our friends and families about our experience. The restaurant also cancelled our booking after we left to ensure we couldn't leave a negative review on Open Table.

02/11/2025: Beautiful food and lovely helpful staff, ordered a delivery last night and the man gave me 10% off because the online didnt work for me he was so nice and helpful and the food was lovely and fresh, Best snack Box in the town the southern fried chicken is beautiful nicest ive had in a long time wven nicer then KFC wipl definitely order again 😀 beautiful and thank you for such great service
