The best restaurants in Louth

20/12/2025: Great little pub/ restaurant. We got a last minute booking for 4 of us and I had never eaten here before but I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the portions are huge. The service came with a smile and friendly chat even though the staff were clearly on top of their heads. I will definitely be back soon.

08/12/2025: Great spot for food both during the week and for Sunday lunch. Not going to me tion my favourite in case it gets too popular.... well worth the visit.

22/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a fantastic meal at Nonna Nenne in Dundalk! We had a group of nine and every single one of us loved the food fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned. The service was warm and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The whole experience felt like sitting down to dinner in a family home, relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommended!

17/12/2025: What a lovely genuine tea rooms with the most delicious home made (how rare this is today) cakes, biscuits and muffins. Full of atmosphere and great friendly service. You couldn't get better!!

02/12/2025: I’m not joking when I say that this place is genuinely the best place for pub food in Ireland. We came down from Belfast for it and it did not disappoint!

22/12/2025: Lovely food and atmosphere, we went for evening dinner, when we arrived it was quiet but it got busy as the evening went on, Food was lovely, tasty, very generous size portions. Desert was lovely. I got a lovely expresso martini, it was delish. Would like to come back for Lunch too. Would reccommend.

22/12/2025: A great place, good food, friendly, professional service. And the atmospheric interior... a homey atmosphere. I wanted to show my family what Ireland was like. This place was definitely a good idea for a taste of Ireland, both literally and figuratively – a taste of the Irish atmosphere.

04/01/2026: Love this place, we always stay here , tea to the room freshly brewed, and good tea too, was in the minus ➖ degrees last night and the room was still so warm I had to open the window, we even got a tea and coffee to go , 5 star ⭐ all the way

06/10/2025: PERFECT!!! Food PERFECT! Location, environment, ambience, PERFECT! Have dined as a pair and as a larger group. I would come everyday if I could. Staff are attentive and fun. There was a young girl who was vegan that gave fantastic recommendations and was so friendly, so a special shout out goes to her!!! The tofu steak - out of this world. Fantastic value for money. Miso soup is the best I have ever had. The avocado sushi is so creamy and decadent. The food is something to be proud of. Amazing that it is in Dundalk!!! A large group of us were there for work last week, and still got a few days, and I’m doing everything in my power to try convince everyone to go because everyone must experience Atami. Thank you very much. Wine served perfectly and crisp.

24/11/2025: Great atmosphere, live music, great staff! We don’t have any food so cannot comment on food but really good for an evening out and the customers are super friendly and fun.

27/11/2025: I’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages after hearing such great things from friends. I finally got the chance last weekend and brought my mum and I can safely say it did not disappoint. The meal was flawless from start to finish. The broccoli side was one of the nicest side dishes I’ve ever had and I’d return for that alone. The little truffles to end the evening were perfect. The staff were super friendly and Conor went around and checked on all the tables which was a lovely personal touch. I’ll definitely be back as there were so many things I wanted to try. Hopefully the spicy margarita will still be on the menu. 10/10

23/11/2025: Terrible experience all round in this establishment. I had booked weeks previously, rang beforehand to request a booth in the front bar area and was assured that we were already assigned this and would not be moved. Arrived on the night and was told it was unavailable despite being able to clearly see a booth in the front bar was available. One of my party queried why we couldn't have the booth. At this point the manager arrived to say the booth was unavailable and would not budge on the matter. I asked if the booth was booked by someone more important than us and the manager said yes that this was the case. We sat in our allocated seat out the back and then decided to leave as we didn't want to spend our money in such an elitist establishment. Such an awful way to run a restaurant. We won't be back and will make sure to tell our friends and families about our experience. The restaurant also cancelled our booking after we left to ensure we couldn't leave a negative review on Open Table.
