04/05/2026: The food is amazing. The rooms are nice, but small. The shower isn't great. The hotel itself is really nice with loads of interesting features and a really nice terrace for drinks and lunch.

16/09/2026: We had Vertigo wedding band and DJ play at our wedding in Crover House in June. We honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish and completely made our wedding reception. The dance floor was never empty, not for a single minute. The music was absolutely perfect, they had such a variety of songs and genres, there was something for everyone. From the moment the started playing everyone was up dancing and the atmosphere was amazing. Vertigo really interacted with the crowd and set the tone for an amazing night. We had so many guests comment on how brilliant the band were and even hotel staff commented on how the dance floor was never empty, from the first song to the final song of the night from the DJ. Clive was amazing to deal with, so professional and reassuring from booking two years in advance through to the night itself. If you’re looking for a wedding band that will have everyone on their feet, singing, dancing and partying all night long, we genuinely couldn’t recommend Vertigo enough! They were one of the highlights of our special day and were so glad and thankful that we chose them as our wedding band! 🕺❤️

12/09/2026: We honestly couldn’t recommend Vertigo enough. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and were one of the highlights of our wedding day in the Ardboyne Hotel in August. We first met Clive at one of the wedding fairs in the hotel before the wedding, and from the beginning he was so down to earth, friendly and reassuring. He made us feel that everything was taken care of and that we didn’t need to stress about the entertainment on the day — our only job was to relax and enjoy ourselves with our guests. And that’s exactly what we did! We had around 85 guests, and not everyone stayed for the whole night, so we were slightly conscious beforehand that the dance floor might feel a little empty. We genuinely had absolutely nothing to worry about. Vertigo had everyone up dancing and the dance floor was full for the whole night. It never felt like a small wedding at all — it genuinely felt like one big party with all of our friends and family. They were so upbeat, energetic and fun, and really knew how to keep the atmosphere going. We had such good craic and spent the whole night dancing and enjoying ourselves with our guests. It was exactly what we wanted from our wedding band. Clive and the whole band were also so easy and enjoyable to work with, and knowing beforehand that we were in such good hands meant we could just relax and enjoy the day without worrying about anything. We’re absolutely delighted we chose Vertigo for our wedding. They created such a brilliant atmosphere and got everyone involved, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you’re looking for a band that will have everyone on the dance floor and make your wedding feel like one massive party, we would highly recommend Vertigo.

01/10/2026: The seafood option here are good! And a great pub for a couple of drinks! I would definitely book ahead if going for food. If your going for a couple of drinks I'd leave it until later in the evening when food service is over.

09/10/2026: my favourite place to dine in for almost a year now! the best place you can find in Dundalk with low prices, amazing staff and the food you will enjoy. I usually never eat in takeaways, it is hard for me to trust diners with hygiene and food preparation, but this is one of the places where i know my food is prepared at best quality. The staff is super welcoming and nice, doing their job perfectly and managing a busy restaurant well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing, very clean and beautiful decor, i only wish the place was a little brighter, but that is only my preferences for my space. I always bring my friends and family to show off my favourite restaurant! Overall, you guys are doing great, thank you for all your work. If you love Japanese cuisine and Dundalk - this is the perfect place for you!

21/08/2026: Very disappointed, usually top marks when visiting but ate here today and not pleased at all. The food was frozen and not the best flavour wise, other family members plates were also frozen food 😒 literally had a plate of frozen chips with my 'main' as the side. Not happy and won't be returning sadly.

21/08/2026: VERY DISSAPPOINTED TODAY AN ALWAYS HAD SAID THIS WAS A GREAT HOUSE FOR FOOD BUT AFTER TODAY WONT B RETURNING COS ALL MY FOOD WAS ALL FROM FROZEN EVEN THE CHIPS WERE JUST STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FREEZER VERY BAD
