26/06/2026: Loved this pub! Solo travelling I don't normally to into a pub as I'm shy! but I felt so very welcomed its my definite go to pub when heading to dundalk!! I will be returning soon hopefully a rose wine will be awaiting my arrivals thankyou again for taking very good care of me! See you soon

04/05/2026: The food is amazing. The rooms are nice, but small. The shower isn't great. The hotel itself is really nice with loads of interesting features and a really nice terrace for drinks and lunch.

14/06/2026: We walked in the restaurant based on great reviews here on Google Maps. We were travelling from Canada. Service wasnt good. Lacking eye contact. It felt awkward so we didnt order another round. We just got up and left. We stayed at many places and had a great trip but this restaurant made us feel awkward or outcasts. I dont know what it was but it was weird. The meal was excellent though.

10/06/2026: I was delighted to be part of a group from Dundalk Food & Drink that visited The Windsor at the end of May, when we were treated to a showcase of the best food that the restaurant has to offer. I enjoyed my choice of a starter of chicken & mushroom risotto, followed by a tasty (and generous) hake tempura with saffron sauce. Marieta Rías Baixas Albariño 2024 and Segredos de São Miguel Alentejano 2023 were the wines on offer. A warm welcome and excellent service added greatly to our visit. 👏👏👏 to all the staff!

From the service of the Staff and the Food made a very special day a incredible day. 21/06/2026: Very over priced for the quality of the food. I had the prawn linguine and there was very little sauce, it was dry and the prawns were over cooked. My partner ordered the smash burger but what he received did not have the ingredients listed on the menu. To top it all, I ordered a baby bowl which ended up only being mash and gravy for 7e, veg would have been extra! Very disappointed and I would not recommend

10/05/2026: Lovely service let a group of wheelchair user us the beer garden. Put the heaters on as it was a dry chilly day. Service was excellent. Best sticky toffee pudding I ever had.

10/05/2026: Astonishing experience, the food was beyond of superb, staff attentive and friendly since we stepped into the pub. The atmosphere preserve all the goods from their region. I highly recommend all intens in the menu, specifically the chowder and the mussels. If you are around do not miss this restaurant. Well done to the whole team.

17/03/2026: Possibly one of Collon Village best kept secrets as it’s all word of mouth with little or no advertising done but it works as over 20years it has consistently improved always serving local quality food at very reasonable prices. Caters for all occasions and ideally situated on the N2 with its own car park and on street parking there’s nothing not to like

17/12/2025: What a lovely genuine tea rooms with the most delicious home made (how rare this is today) cakes, biscuits and muffins. Full of atmosphere and great friendly service. You couldn't get better!!

12/05/2026: Absolutely magnificent! Service was incredible; polite, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, vibrant, refreshing and bold. Portions were also well served which never hurts. Definitely a must visit! Would go back every day if we lived nearby and every weekend if we lived in Ireland. Should have 3 Michelin stars
