03/02/2025: We had lunch and dinner here. It was quiet for lunch, with a cosy fire burning beside us. Lovely on a chilly day! We came back in the evening for dinner. The oysters and Guiness were fantastic, and at the end of the evening a music session started. Great service, lovely people and a fantastic place to spend some quiet hours.
02/02/2025: Great and very fresh sea food, I could say is one of the best sea food dishes I’ve had in Ireland. I loved this place, if in the area you need to visit.

18/01/2025: Had a fantastic experience at Ruby Ellen’s. We had our dog with us and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating.
We sat in the garden area which was very comfortable (even in January!) and the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious.
We will be back as soon as possible!
05/01/2025: A cosy and beautifully decorated spot with plenty of charm.
The food was exceptional – hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had!

13/12/2024: Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. Wishing you all a happy & peaceful Christmas 🎄

10/02/2025: Just back from a fantastic weekend in Carlingford and had our best meal in Fishy Dishy on Saturday night. The Baked Oysters were incredible, Calamari really good, great Monkfish. Actually you can’t go wrong with any of the seafood and the deserts were also good. Lovely atmosphere, lovely room. We’ll be back!

25/02/2025: Myself and my girlfriend went here for a birthday meal and the food was out of this world. Certainly one of the the top restaurants I've ever been to and would highly recommend anyone to dine here. Service was quick and staff were all very friendly and chatty. First class restaurant.

28/11/2024: When we asked the locals where we should get a cup of coffee, we were directed here to Wildwood! It seems to have moved out of their original space and is now completely outdoors. There is a great vibe here and the chef clearly really cares about the food. We got the cheese toasty (a must try) and breakfast burrito. The coffee was great! Only wish the plates and cutlery weren’t single-use but we understand there are probably constraints. Thank you!
14/10/2024: Stayed for the weekend and this place is absolutely beautiful, Paul is a gentleman and would recommend here to everyone, will definitely be back
