13/12/2024: Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. Wishing you all a happy & peaceful Christmas 🎄
28/10/2024: We arrived at Ghan house after getting drenched on the Slieve Foy loop. We were greeted with a warm fire in reception and a spacious room, with soft music playing in the background, a four poster bed, and large windows overlooking the garden. A very serene welcome to an otherwise maddening day. We had a fabulous four course dinner here with the some unique wines, and topped off our overnight with a multitude of cold and hot offerings. 10/10 experience - we absolutely would return.

01/12/2024: We walked by a number of times and finally looked at the menu and decided to go for dinner, wish we did it earlier. We had someone get the steak they loved it three people got the halibut and they loved it and I got the Dover Sole and it was unreal. Don’t walk by stop on in and have the meal!
30/11/2024: Really nice food. We had a party of 6 and all had a starter, a main and a few bottles of normally priced wine and it was 450 euro. Very over priced. Not even a shot given to send us on our way. After giving a 60 euro tip they barely thanked us as we left. I don't think I'd go back for that reason.

Used to great curries in Yorkshire but this place is amazing.. different, not overly spiced but best combinations of flavours. Not forgetting really friendly staff & lovely little restaurant.
Just had our left overs for dinner tonight.
We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!

28/11/2024: When we asked the locals where we should get a cup of coffee, we were directed here to Wildwood! It seems to have moved out of their original space and is now completely outdoors. There is a great vibe here and the chef clearly really cares about the food. We got the cheese toasty (a must try) and breakfast burrito. The coffee was great! Only wish the plates and cutlery weren’t single-use but we understand there are probably constraints. Thank you!
14/10/2024: Stayed for the weekend and this place is absolutely beautiful, Paul is a gentleman and would recommend here to everyone, will definitely be back

03/12/2024: A great pub with great music and lively atmosphere. Fantastic place to sit by the fire and watch the sport. Also dog friendly which is why we go here. Some other bars in same area make it clear no dogs allowed so our money is consistently spent here over the weekend. Staff excellent and welcoming and whilst cash only there is an ATM outside. If cash only helps our pubs survive then not a problem.
20/10/2024: Lovely place for a pint, the staff were chatty and made us feel right at home. 🙂
