The best restaurants in Mayo

30/05/2026: The food for the price is not worth it in my opinion. You are honestly paying for the view and now the food the view of the west side mountains is absolutely lovey and I see why they have a restaurant there. The salmon was okay. It did not blow my mind but it was okay. The oysters were very delicious. Overall I don’t thinks it’s worth it but the views are very nice. The service was very good. The waiters were on top of things and helped us very nicely.

24/11/2024: We got the Lighthouse to do catering in our home for a Christening and we would highly recommend Mary and co. The food was fabulous and all our guests commented on how lovely it was. There is a great choice on offer, and from ordering to delivery, the service is seamless! It was great coming back from the church and having the food all set up ready to go! We will definitely order again!

16/09/2024: Thank you Mary & Sal for the excellent service in the catering business, I have used the Lighthouse for serval occasions and have no hesitations in giving the highest compliments for the food, service and friendliness. I highly recommend their chicken curry, beef stroganoff, potato gratin and pasta dishes with meat balls and side salads.

18/06/2024: We decided to dine here in the last night of our stay in Mulranny and were extremely disappointed in the experience. Yes, it was busy as it was Father’s Day, but we had eaten elsewhere earlier in the day - more busy - and there was flawless service. When seated we waited 20 minutes for a drinks order ti be taken, my wife’s starter of prawns was presented in a bowl of bread cubes filled with oil, a team member came to clear the table before starters were finished and insisted on clearing my plate (I was finished), the mains arrived and we waited another 10 minutes for cutlery after requesting them, the chicken fillet burger was dry and tough, the beef burger was well over seasoned with salt - neither mains were half finished. At that point we had had enough and asked for the bill- another half hour wait with no acknowledgment and no bill. Money left on the table and we left - extremely disappointing and wouldn’t recommend.
