12/06/2025: Little hidden gem. We met the new owner Ben and he was so nice and friendly. We had the croissants with bacon and cheese and coffees. High quality produce, tasted delicious. Also it was dog friendly which is always a bonus for us 😊 the coffees where top notch and service was very quick as we where lucky to get there on a quiet time of the day. Would definitely return and wish the staff and business all the very best of luck for the season ahead.

08/07/2025: The Shamrock Bar is the go to place if you want to have a good time. Great pints, great service and if you’re up for a game of darts this is the place. A short walk from Breaffy House, don’t miss it!

29/06/2024: Stopped here for coffees today and only we were enroute to Monaghan we would have returned with them. Coffees had no taste...service was also very poor.

22/09/2025: Love this place. Feels like having lunch at my grannies house.
14/09/2025: I'm not entirely sure how this place is still operating.
It looks and smells like a second hand clothes shop and not a good one. The carpet is mucky the tables are crammed in with old clothes, dusty bric a brac and it just doesn't feel or smell sanitary. We didn't eat here so couldn't vouch for the food but if the smell of stale vinegar is anything to go by I reckon our stomachs dodged a bullet.

30/05/2026: The food for the price is not worth it in my opinion. You are honestly paying for the view and now the food the view of the west side mountains is absolutely lovey and I see why they have a restaurant there.
The salmon was okay. It did not blow my mind but it was okay. The oysters were very delicious.
Overall I don’t thinks it’s worth it but the views are very nice.
The service was very good. The waiters were on top of things and helped us very nicely.
