27/10/2024: We were there for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful. Food, service and price was excellent. We are definitely going back as a destination rather than walking past and will we try this. My wife's supercool salad was awesome. I have had the taco in many places and it was more expensive and unpleasant jalapeños. Here they were fresh and wonderful.

08/10/2024: I have been coming to this restaurant for years now and I love the consistently good quality of the food and the decent prices when compared to other places in the area. Came back with my friends for my birthday yesterday, and again: very nice service and beautiful food, everybody loved it, what more can you want, especially in a spoilt place like Dalkey were competition is so fierce? Will return again and again, I am sure.

01/11/2024: What a great restaurant from A & his team. They are super caring and attentive to you. The food is super fresh and a treat to enjoy. Tasty dishes. Not just the standard that everyone knows by now. Definitely worth a visit but don't forget to make a reservation.

11/11/2024: Very busy on a Saturday lunchtime, we thought we were lucky to get a table. We were attracted in as I had a notion for seafood chowder, which was on the menu outside. What a disappointment! The worst chowder I have ever tasted. Dishwater thin with small scraps of vegetables floating in it, which made it even more like dishwater. Two miserable mussels, no other discernable fish, certainly not the advertised salmon. My wife had frito misto, a good bowl full in a nice crisp batter. However, there were just two small prawns, no whitebait and all the rest were calamari, my wife's least favourite. I regret not complaining at the time instead of just muttering "fine" when asked how it was. We couldn't wait to get away!

04/11/2024: A nice surprise to find an actual French menu.

20/10/2024: I went here recently with my special needs class and it was fantastic. I let the staff know we were coming the next morning and as we were group of about 14. They had arranged the tables to facilitate us. The café itself is very small so I really appreciated that they had prepared for us. The menu is really good and the crepes with just sugar or chocolate are under 10 euros which is great for children who aren't spending too much. The staff were super friendly and patient with my students so they had really nice experience. The food is excellent. It's a very small café so it isn't really wheelchair accessible and it has a step to get into the café. The toilet is down a stairs. Honestly it would be great if it was a little more wheelchair friendly as my class had such a wonderful French breakfast. Thanks for the experience.

07/11/2024: Great food, specialist in sea food options, but other options also, great service

27/10/2024: 1st time to visit, won't be the last Went for a late lunch. Our visit started with a great welcome at the door they had seats available, so no wait. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Food came relatively quickly and was as described on the menu, plus it was really, really good quality and tasted great. Great venue will be back.

09/11/2024: Gave away our pre-booked, pre-paid table because they said we were 30 minutes late. Wouldn’t accommodate us at all. Manager came out, looks like a little 15 year old boy, obviously on a power trip, handpicking from the group who he thought was “too drunk”. 🙄 What an absolute kip wouldn’t go near it again, plenty of other bars in the area happy to get the business in a time where pubs are struggling to pay their bills.
