14/01/2025: Great place for a pint . Didn't get food

06/01/2025: Popped in for a quick pint on the way to the station. Great old atmosphere with a real fireplace and decor that does not seem to have changed in a long time. The Beamish I had was excellent. Will definitely go back on my next trip home to Ireland.

20/12/2024: La comida en el Paradiso es excelente. Suministran 6 platos de delicias vegetarianas, que están maravillosamente cocinados y colados con deliciosas salsas. El ambiente es familiar, con mesas bien espaciadas y el servicio era de primera. El gran problema es que las porciones son demasiado escasas, demasiado pequeñas. Salí con hambre. No era solo yo, mis 3 compañeros sentían lo mismo. Si usted está pagando 68 € por una comida, antes del vino y el servicio, no debe salir con hambre. Tuve que cocinar un huevo revuelto cuando llegué a casa!

20/01/2025: I visited in December. Sadly no cask ale on at that time. Good range of Craft Beer. Unfortunately it was very cold which masked the flavour.❄️

09/01/2025: A nice pub with friendly staff and good beer. Live music was a lovely touch. I enjoyed a pint of Murphy’s by the fire.

21/01/2025: Really good salad with good flavours and different styles!!! Price is good related to healthy food!!! the place is small.

08/01/2025: There are cold salad platters and hot chicken curry rice. Today’s takeout is chicken curry rice, which is very delicious.

07/01/2025: Great spot for a pint and a pizza apres work. Can be a bit busy though so knock off early and grab a table. Don't be surprised if someone reserves a table right out from underneath you though, a scandalous policy that drives me mad. Look after the customers you have spending money now not the ones on the phone.

29/12/2024: Visited this place on Saturday 28 December so as you would expect the place was busy and we waited a bit for our food but it was well worth the wait. Six of us and we all had different orders but it was top class and the staff were fantastic 👏

04/12/2024: What a place lovely staff great food bar toilets parking free best place for a Sunday carvery by a country mile fantastic for kids and the deserts are out of this world highly recommended

18/01/2025: It was mine and my partners birthday, we just asked for a booth and mentioned it. At the end when we ordered dessert they came out singing happy birthday and surprised us both. The staff were so attentive, they even removed the desserts from our bill which was such a nice thing. Will definitely come back, great food, large portions and excellent service.

23/12/2024: Friendly staff, comfort food, big portions, reasonable price. The poached egg and scrambled egg both a bit overcooked to me, but still taste fine. It's delicious, not expensive, and the portions are big.

21/12/2024: The interior decoration and overall atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, cozy and calm. Definitely a good place to recollect yourself from the craze of the city. I went here with my cousin and she enjoyed her pasta salad. However, I got a chai latte which I cannot discourage purchase of enough. It was a small cup of milk with a bit of cinnamon. And I mean a BIT, you could really barely taste anything but milk. It was a comforting drink, sure, but if you're gonna charge 3.50 for a product then make it the real thing. TLDR; nice vibes in the place but DON'T get the chai latte.

15/01/2025: Seis de nosotros disfrutamos de una encantadora tarde de domingo en este peculiar establecimiento. El personal no podría haber sido más amable! Hicimos mithering el tipo detrás de la barra para poner el partido del Man United y él encantado agradeció. Tuvimos un rincón encantador del bar con nuestra propia televisión, sin quejas en absoluto. La oferta de pizza (pizza y una pinta de su propia cerveza de elección € 17 ) era una ganga absoluta teniendo en cuenta lo cara que es la ciudad en general (para nosotros que visitamos la gente inglesa) . A todos nos encantaron las pizzas que son ENORMES (probablemente deberíamos haber conseguido tres, no seis, tan codicioso! ) ¡La cerveza tampoco está mal! Me encantó nuestra visita, sin duda recomendaría.

02/12/2024: Too miserable to have the toilet code, so you just walk back up the stairs for the code. Definitely not customer friendly.

14/11/2024: No puedes ganar aquí. No tengo ningún problema con el personal hablando, pero cuando alguien está tomando mi pedido, no espero estar escuchando que responda a la conversación de sus colegas mientras hago el pedido. Dije que quería pagar en efectivo y la chica detrás de la caja puso la tarjeta y se fue y comenzó a hablar de nuevo. A la chica que tenía enfrente su pedido estaba mal y mi bebida me ha escaldado tanto. Llevo años viniendo aquí y esto siempre está pasando. Solo hay 2 / 3 miembros del personal que realmente son buenos. A cualquier otro el café siempre es terrible. Parece que la gerencia no tiene ningún control. Preferiría no sentir que pedir una copa es un inconveniente para su conversación.

04/12/2024: Went for lunch on Monday, excellent food lovely seeing, went to pay bill and asked if I could have a 2euro in change for use in bathroom. girl said could not I'd have to cash a10 euro was paying with card ,so I said no problem. Checked my phone Tuesday to discover payment not taken for food rang them yesterday to pay bill 75euro asked if she would give me a few euro off for been honest her replyQuote! We can't give away free food!only asking for few off not a free meal so much for honesty
