12/01/2025: We went to this restaurant last night and all I can say is wow, we were greeted like royalty at the door by Mags (who I never met before) and front start to finish 10/10, highly recommend it, staff out of this world and the food , my god just just top class 5star rating! Wonderful night with great friend s , can’t wait to return!!! Cheers guys

05/01/2025: So we visited few times prior and was always excellent - BUT let me tell you today we came for hubby’s birthday and special was catch of the day (fish and chips) as someone who have lived near seafront England town and can really appreciate this and thought had the best of the best - I was mistaken , the stone house smashed it huge applause to the chef - this was by FAR the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my whole entire life - everyone had the best time , we will continue coming once a month now as kids also had the best time & staff is brilliant and welcoming & the whole place is just goal ! 20/10/2024: We had lunch twice at “An Craoibhin”, this pub is fantastic! Excellent cuisine, homemade, a real treat! Lovely staff! If you pass through Boyle, don't miss this magnificent place! Many thanks!

04/12/2024: Did a two hour drive just to come to here and watch a match and the whole place was just spectacular. Drinks were amazing, pool table was cheaper than most places, staff were excellent and super friendly and on top of it all, they played more than one match on the tvs. This is by far the best pub I’ve ever been to

10/01/2025: I was meeting friends in roscommon, so decided to stay new years eve, room was really nice, staff very friendly and the breakfast was lovely would definitely stay again

12/12/2024: Anyone looking for celiac friendly coffee shop in Castleblaney with quality food and knowledgeable friendly staff this is the place to go. Even a choice of gluten free bread for sandwiches. Clean,comfortable with outdoor courtyard dining and easy parking. Highly recommended.

14/01/2025: Popped in for a family lunch and was delighted with the experience. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Staff were brilliant and attentive. Service was prompt and when we needed more chips/drinks they brought them out straight away. Would definitely go back. Very picturesque spot beside the Shannon too.

03/02/2025: Had the most fantastic dinner. Had the steak sandwich and I didn't even need a knife it was so tender. We were a party of 12 and the staff were so attentive we couldn't fault them. We will be back.

13/01/2025: Popped in for a meal, did not stay at hotel. Had lasagne but it was weird - no bechamel sauce and only layer of pasta, just tasted of tomato. Was edible but only just. Had sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which came with toffee sauce - asked for custard and waitress looked at me like I had 2 heads, was not happy I asked for custard. When it arrived I wish I hadn't, was really watery. Sticky toffee it wasn't, tasted like cinnamon cake with dates in. Overall, weird food and not the best service - sorry.

05/07/2024: Shame it closed - Best coffee I've found so far in Ireland. It's the equivalent of Espresso 44 in Galway, with even better coffee. The shop is small and always smells like freshly brewed coffee. Crazy idea, but I'd love it if they would also sell the best coffee scented candles they could find from Yankees and hand crafted. Friendly staff, impeccably clean.
