The best restaurants in Waterford

21/12/2024: Really disappointing experience. Table in the corner was breezy. Group beside us were loud and just drinking, vaping in the snug and shouting about where they would buy a bag that night. Male staff were very friendly. One female server gave a glass of Prosecco to the table overflowing and spilling down the side. Then slammed two of the main courses onto the table. Never asked did we need sauce salt vinegar for chips and fish. Food itself was nice but desserts were way overpriced €9.50 for a tiny cheesecake, not worth it. Service doesn’t match the food and price doesn’t match service. Won’t be back

16/06/2025: Fantastic atmosphere with live music, even on a Sunday. Jam on Thursdays is supposed to be an experience.

05/05/2024: Ivan’s was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to I went there so many times and now since it’s gone I miss it so much it was so nice and it is so unfortunate this they are closed

21/08/2025: WE VISITED THE WHITE HORSES RESTAURANT IN ARDMORE RECENTLY FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION AND WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH OUR EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. THE STAFF WERE VERY CURT AND DISMISSIVE TO US AND OTHER CUSTOMERS CAME TO OUR TABLE ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS WHILE WE WERE EATING AND MOVED CUTLERY AND GLASSES. NOT AN "EXCUSE ME" OR A WORD OF APOLOGY. THIS HAPPENED ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS QUITE RUDE REALLY. WE HAD A WAY OVER PRICED MEAL AND ON PAYMENT AS WE WERE LEAVING NOT" A DID YOU ENJOY YOUR MEAL " OR A "THANK YOU".¹ RUDE AND CURT. WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY. A VERY BAD AND EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.
