27/02/2025: Got chicken fillet burger and quarter pounder absolutely lovely fish was very very greasy but looked savage I'd say it needed to dry a bit more never the less the burgers definitely got a ten out of 10 well done

26/08/2025: I imagine in its hay day it was a much livelier place but now it’s just a bit sad. Stopped in for a pint to get out of the rain and they were out of Smithwicks which was disappointing. Maybe Tuesday is their delivery day? The service was fine- def not the smiling service we’ve gotten other places. Not ideal how their food is

05/07/2025: The impressions from visiting this place are not the most pleasant. There are no prices on the menu, which is strange. Not all drinks are translated into English. The table with napkins is dirty. It is obvious that the staff has difficulty serving a large flow of customers. Judging by the taste, appearance and execution of bubble tea, its price is too high.

18/09/2025: This is one of the best chippers in Kilkenny / Waterford. Good quality food and not dripping in grease. The prices have risen but where hasn't. Only down side is that it can be very difficult to get parking.

26/07/2025: Order here maybe once a month. Food arrives when they say it will, it's tasty. Lady on the phone is always pleasant. A great service when you're just not in the mood to cook.

14/07/2025: Partner has nut allergy and had reaction to food that has no nuts in it. Food hygiene must be improved. Simply NOT ACCEPTABLE.

23/10/2025: Visited twice in Oct 2025, lunch time. The food was delicious, chicken goujons one day and the vegetarian brunch the second. Both were well presented, tasty and plentiful. The menu has lots of variety and should have something for everyone. The service was great and I was lucky to get a window seat both days. The previous visits were during Winterval and it was not a busy as then...lol...no wait for a table and a window seat, perfect. I did not take any pictures of the food before eating and an empty plate is not very exciting so the picture below is the view from the window, a lovely Waterford Walls, Our Lady of Waterford.

11/08/2025: Got a too good to go bag I had one doughnut and 2 pain au chocolate and one Portuguese custard tart All were tasty but unfortunately the pastry wasn't fresh as ot was evening but still worth to try it

11/10/2025: I enjoyed my lunch so much that I went back the next day for breakfast. Soup and a sandwich, a basic choice for me, but it was very good. Porridge with honey and fruit. The waitresses were very polite and welcoming.

29/08/2025: I have been going regularly here for the last 2-3 yrs and you can’t fault the waitresses especially Maisy, Roisin and Shannon in that order 😉. They are very attentive to their customers and always offer them side salad with meal and cream with cake. I was away for nearly a yr and when I came back they still offered my personalised J mug. A more personal service you couldn’t get in the world.

08/09/2025: Delicious food, nice staff and an overall cute place. When the menu says spicy the food really is spicy. The dishes are plentiful and you get complimentary pappadam on the side

14/08/2025: Security in the pub are incompetent, was there with my partner during spraoi, some drunk fella took our seat and refused to go despite us politely asking him, bouncer (young tall dude with the beard) did little effort to move him away and then shook his hand and started being rude to us told us to go away. Would never recommend this place

30/10/2025: I got a pepperoni pizza with chicken curry chips out of Hot Corner Pizza and Kebabs in Waterford City for delivery. The pizza was not up to standard, as there was a lack of cheese on the pizza and the toppings were only something from the supermarket, as they should use better quality ingredients for their pizza, because you are paying the price for good food. Also the chips weren't nice either, as they were cold on the outside and extremely hot on the inside. The chicken tastes rubbery also and the curry was mediocre, tasting like Chef or McDonnell's Curry, as you would expect better tasting curry for the price you were paying for the food. Overall, the food was not great out of Hot Corner. The service was a lot worse, because I got it delivered. First off, the delivery was late, which is not on. This shows that this restaurant is not punctual. Also I did not get an apology for the late delivery, as it is common courtesy to do so. When I collected my food from the delivery driver, he seemed a bit rude, as he did not look like he wanted to be delivering food, but still. It costs nothing to be nice. As I have not been to the restaurant itself, I am giving the atmosphere 0 starts. Hot Corner, cop yourselves on and manage your restaurant better or else you will just lose customers. Thanks.

14/10/2025: "WOW"...finally, I found a fast food place that reminds me of home, Liverpool City. I ordered the large pizza (Margherita) large donner kebab (fresh salad, tender tasty lamb meat) and chips (proper fat, chunky real potato chips), DEELISH food., and delivered for 3euro.. "The Hot Corner" Barrack St, I will not go nowhere else now... Nice one lads ... 5 Star fast food and very reasonable priced,.....15euro pizza, large donner n chips...STILL in 2025 the best
