04/07/2025: Ordered Onion Bhajis for starters, Tamarind Chicken and Saag Aloo for mains. Without a doubt, the best Indian meal I’ve ever had! The flavours were unbelievable. We will be back.

06/07/2025: I've been eating the creamy chicken burrito for years now, love it. One time I ordered two and could barely sleep that night because I was so full, I won't be doing that again. I do wish they would mix up the ingredients a bit though, before rolling up the burrito, that way you would have more variety in every bite.

21/04/2025: Clean room for £80 per night, friendly staff and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel could do with a bit of renovation etc but it’s more than reflected in the price!

08/05/2025: Went for lunch on a Thursday midday and had beautiful wings, skewers, and chips. Also very reasonable price. The service was very consistent and very friendly. Really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be returning!

23/06/2025: Amazing staff. They make one of the most filling good value burger deals in town. It is in an ideal location for shops and has indoor and outdoor sitting. They make a decent coffee and tea too. Cannot go wrong with Blackrock Café! Locals can be seen outside of the Café on sunny days and for good reason. Great and friendly staff. Good value for money and an ideal location, what is not to love!

23/03/2025: for a cafe they have very good food. they do a bit of everything and nice cakes. it's owned by a palestinian family i believe so if you want to show support for them it's the place to go🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸! the staff are friendly also its called jacoub's now not blackrock

I appreciate the effort that goes into running a restaurant, but unfortunately, the overall quality of food was extremely low. Dishes tasted bland and lacked the freshness I was hoping for. The flavours didn’t quite match the standards I’ve come to expect from Chinese cuisine—there was little seasoning and ingredients did not taste fresh, covered with a lot of sauce. I’m sharing this not to criticize harshly, but in the hope that this feedback is helpful. I believe with more attention to freshness, flavour, and seasoning, your offerings could improve significantly and match the prices you are charging. 05/06/2025: I guess this restaurant won’t be my favourite. Taste was strange, not too much meat, looked very poor and not fresh. Honestly we didn’t eat it. We were afraid to eat it.

04/07/2025: The best Chinese meal I’ve had in a very long time . We ordered the mixed seafood with spring onion and ginger and it was cooked to perfection , not at all tough and plenty of it .

05/07/2025: The impressions from visiting this place are not the most pleasant. There are no prices on the menu, which is strange. Not all drinks are translated into English. The table with napkins is dirty. It is obvious that the staff has difficulty serving a large flow of customers. Judging by the taste, appearance and execution of bubble tea, its price is too high.

02/07/2025: Very poor dine in offering. Ordered the only special advertised in the window which drew me in. Chicken Biryani mainly plain rice with 2 small pieces of chicken hiden underneath. Served in a cold bowl on a cold plate. Advertised at 12 euro charged 15.95, raised this to be told only for takeaway, not stated anywhere and picture shows dish in ceramic bowl. Informed the waitress this was false advertising, she thanked me for letting her know still overcharged. Drinks on the menu not available also.

16/06/2025: Definitely better than #9 in Tramore, the Beach House is a small, cozy place to get wonderful freshly prepared elegant seafood — with their specialty being fantastic fish & chips — far far better than a chipper though. They also have oysters and mussels and such, with great desserts too. Highly recommended, with a terrific staff.
