20/03/2025: Can’t understand the high reviews here. It’s almost €6 more than my local chipper for a burger and chips. Food is just below average, they skimp on the cheese for cheese chips and the burger was pathetic for the price

05/05/2025: We ordered aaloo tikki,boti kebab,daal tarka,bhindi, saag paneer. Starters were not tasty as it wasn't in Indian street food style. But they haven't charged us for aloo tikki which was appreciated.
Main course was fine.
If you are looking for authentic Indian food then that's not the place.
20/03/2025: Food: Food was very delicious and felt very flavourful. Starters could have been better but were still full of flavours.
Ambience: ambience was quite good, warm and cozy
Service: their staff was very friendly. They also laughed and joked with us and made sure we had a nice time

14/01/2025: I have have got couple of very out of date products in here. Bought there before, and never had problems, but now I lost my trust to them unfortunately. But mochi and some other sweets with best before over year ago, in not such big shop shocked me truly. Mochi was smelly like a compost.

I came for a Mochi ice,Ramen and a medium cup of pineapple and watermelon bubble tea. I drank it before I could take a picture but I dropped the menu.

20/04/2025: Want to start by saying that I have been to Happy House many times before and always had a great experience with great food.
This time my order was wrong. When I rang back to advise I had received the wrong dish, I was told to bring back the dish that was incorrectly given to me. I did so and when I was given the correct item of my order there was no sorry, no free can or anything.
To top it off the food was poor and I definitely don't think it's as good as before.
20/01/2025: We had a pre lunch drink in Murph's Bar.After sitting at a fabulous open fire and pre lunch G/T we walked around the corner to the Beach House.The fish was delicious ,Lemon Sole and Haddock served with chips. Our starter was crab which was served with traditional homemade soda bread and salad. I had a chilled glass of Sancerre and our young guest enjoyed a Sicilian Lemonade.Thanks to all we will be back soon.

19/01/2025: Used to be a firm favourite of mine, went there last night and was shocked by the price and over all quality of the food. The chicken/noodle soup - sliced chicken roll of some sort, possibly tinned! I won't go on about the rest, that say's it all to me, standards well below what used to be a great place to eat.

11/04/2025: Worst service and worst coffee in my 59 years. The staff has no idea about this business. Hygiene disaster, the coffee we got looks like someone washed their feet in it, horror. A sanitary inspection should be sent to them to revoke their work permit.

08/04/2025: Went for a late night pizza and they shortchanged me by €1.30, I mentioned this and it was rectified immediately, no questions asked.
I saw them do this to three other patrons who had been drinking and paying by cash, they were not happy when I pointed this put for the third person.
Predatory practice which should not be promoted, if ordering from here after a night out do not pay with cash.

The City Arms Gastro Bar

08/05/2025: Went for lunch on a Thursday midday and had beautiful wings, skewers, and chips. Also very reasonable price. The service was very consistent and very friendly. Really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be returning!
26/01/2025: The only good thing to say is that the lady who served us was pleasant, however, so was also not very good at her job. We were the only two people in the place for lunch and she still forgot to bring a side order of chips until she was reminded.
The chips weren’t too bad.
Now, that’s the good bit.
Bruschetta was an ok topping served on two slices of a sliced pan.
As for the fish. I don’t know where to start. Let’s just say I gave up on the third bite - chewing leather would have been more enjoyable as it least it wouldn’t repeat on you. And yes, it was chewy, stodgy and overcooked.
Maybe other things on the menu are ok but avoid the fish and don’t expect much from the bruschetta.
