28/09/2024: Rude bouncers, myself and a friend were refused entrance only wanting to see a local performance for no reason, if this is how the bouncers operate it reflects on the business and is completely uncalled for I would have much preferred being given a reason for the rejection but we were just flat out refused entry
09/09/2024: A olde world Irish bar.I dropped in here for a quiet drink. Good service, staff were amicable. Sorry I can't leave a review on food as I was not there in time. Looks like a great place to disappear for some me time.

29/10/2024: If you are looking for a place to celebrate your birthday, BroadStreet is definitely perfect. The place is super spacious and accommodated my guests very well. The staff were very nice, the food was great and the music was great too. I definitely made a great choice to celebrate my birthday ….
27/10/2024: Food is not recommended if it comes at all. Service behind the bar was very unfriendly, not possible at all. Unfortunately a total flop and therefore not recommended.

20/10/2024: Was in the coffee shop today and the place was so untidy, the two girls behind the counter were ran off their feet and the queue was out the door, they obviously didn’t have a second to clear tables which people had been finished at. We love coming to NYCD so it’s unfortunate that the place looked so unorganised
29/08/2024: I’m a regular customer and I love nycd I always come in and recently the new staff that I have been severed by really have a bad attitude especially the girl with blonde hair and glasses I’m always nice and thank her cause I bet it’s stressful I work in a restaurant I get it but it’s every-time I come in she always has an attitude like she hates working there and there’s no like customer service and it’s not just me either it’s people being served ahead of me and you can see their faces of like okay can you atleast try to like your job really disappointing like I have always been a fan of this place is so lovely here but when I see her I genuinely hate being served by her

04/10/2024: Best pizza in town, John and the team made such an effort to include a vegan option that tastes 10/10. Staff are so lovely too! All my friends love their food. Can’t recommend enough 🙏

Massive queues, you queue once to order then again to collect the food.
However, I think there must be new owners, the food is just average now, it used to be amazing.
The service is a bit shambolic, seems to be run by youngsters who aren’t sure what they’re doing and it wasn’t that busy.
The fish was ready ages before the chips, so they’re all stood there with the box open with the fish getting cold waiting for the chips to be done.
There were no fish bites as they’d run out.
They’ll do a trade because of their location but it’s gone downhill and wouldn’t go back.

13/10/2024: A mocha on a take away cup when I’m sitting in the cafe ? I asked and he told me all mochas go in a take away cup! We have sat in 4 times in just this years and never received a mocha in a coffee cup while sitting down !!! Wdaf !!! Cannot taste the Belgian chocolate like I did yday or any other day I sat in or took away!
Got a mocha yday and it tasted way better and more chocolate flavour like I have received every other time in here!
The guy clearly wasn’t happy or confused my partner went up to complain! Useless custowmrs service!
Very slow at cleaning up after other customers! We had to clear our own table!

10/10/2024: The food has consistently been really good.
But I find the service not the best also the queue and crowd is not for me.
The two occasions I've been here were Sundays maybe that accounts for the crowd but I had a booking for 1pm got there early and was standing on the queue waiting for about 15mins and it didn't look like they were going by reservation just kind of waiting till a table is empty and then you were sat.
The server missed an item in my order, when bringing the Cutlery for my date and I she just banged all 2 pair on one side and walked away.
