24/02/2026: Ordered 50/50 meals - specifically requested no pickles (allergy). Also ordered hot honey sauce on the side. Ramekin came out with cold honey squeezed into it and paprika salt sprinkled in on top of it-unheated and cold. Sliders came out with pickles- bit into same and realised. Requested same and stated no pickles . Staff removed the pickles and brought back same sliders on meal. Again requested fresh sliders came back with reheated buns same chicken inside whereby the pickles were on. Not a very pleasant experience. Also charged for kids meal despite kids under 12 eating free as advertised on the window when €14 spent by an adult . Really negative experience as a whole prior to a hospital appointment

07/01/2026: We initially came here for food last week which wasn’t the best experience. The manager promptly asked us to come back and give them another chance, and so we did (thankfully so!) This second time around was faultless. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious. Thank you for leaving us with a lasting good impression.

01/11/2025: I don’t know why this hotel has such a low rating… The rooms were good… The staff were phenomenal. Sure it is a bit dated but that adds to the charm. I only request would be for them to add beans back onto the breakfast menu.

18/07/2025: A cocktail bar like you'd dream of. Nice, quiet ambiance, pleasant music, polite bartenders. The bar is a bit hidden, it was quiet, and it definitely deserves more visitors. Fair prices, good service, and first-class signature cocktails.

13/01/2026: The lovely Dayna served me today. Always make it to this Supermacs when in Waterford. Great location (near the hospital) and free parking too. Clean forecourt and friendly staff.

28/12/2025: Ordered for collection and went in and paid. Waited 30mins before going up to inquire where my food was as the place did seem busy. They first said my pizza was made without a topping and they were going to remake it. When I said I would take it as is as I didn’t have any more time to wait, they said the pizza had not even been made. Really disappointing. This is the second time this has happened to me this year from that branch.

11/01/2026: We stayed as a large group split over three apartments. It was perfect. Very friendly, central location and comfortable.

22/11/2025: Sorry but, not for me, room small, extremely noisy, other guests arriving back very late, and could hear every sound. Went to boil kettle, to find it half full with dirty cloudy water. Self service breakfast cold. Even though cost is low, I still expect good clean basic service.

07/09/2025: Just had a special Singapore chow mein with a meat spring roll. Noodles are overcooked, got small prawns on the dish. In fairness. Never again. It was brutal. Other Chinese takeaways in town are way better. Left half it on the plate. It was that bad.

06/10/2025: It is just on the seaside..with amazing views❤️❤️. It was too crowded that day but still the service was too quick❤️❤️. Loved the food . The pizza was too hot and thin crust was perfect. The beer battered fish was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. Value for money.❤️❤️

03/01/2026: I ordered a muffin ice cream and was told it would be made. I then sat down and waited, but after 30 minutes nothing had arrived. Eventually I had to go back up to the counter and explain that I had already placed and paid for my order so it could finally be made. For such a simple item, a 30-minute wait with no communication is unacceptable. The whole experience felt disorganised and poorly managed, and it shouldn’t be on the customer to chase staff for an order that was already taken.

30/12/2025: It’s disgraceful the portion sizes for the money your paying, couple of years ago a large cost 5 now the small cost 5 and has been halved in size
