15/08/2026: Absolutely best fish n chips in the country

12/08/2026: I was the having time of my life exploring the town of Tramore, a golden spot the place is ill tell you. I found Dooley's fish and chips with its queue stretching out far and wide. I can tell you after having it three times its safe to say im a dooley's loyalist. 🏆😍 I've gotten their mighty fine mega 10oz Burger and its the absolute bomb. Definitely played a role in my finding-myself-journey, had to get it thrice. 🍔🍟 If youre ever in town, dooley's shall be homebound, gowan good luck to you. 😂😂

18/08/2026: Absolutely love the design of the diner. Staff are always very helpful and nice and always smiling. My daughter got their chicken tenders that are marinated in buttermilk and were juicy and tender, served on a bed of iceberg lettuce that there was no need for. Just chuck the tenders in a basket. BBQ sauce is amazing, Garlic mayo was a little bland. I got their regular burger. Burger feels like it has a lot of filler in it. It's soft and moist but felt like a flat meatball. The tomato I got was from the top of the beef tomato and had a lot of woody bulp which wasn't the best feel in the mouth. Over all the tenders are a winner, burger was a let down. We had their milkshakes too which by far are the nicest you will find around. Great choice too. I'll definitely stop in again but maybe stick to their chicken.

15/08/2026: Just sat in there waiting 45 minutes for my food,no sign of it, watching everyone else getting there food, not overly busy, very poor service

02/06/2026: Me and my friends came in for some food, as the last time i got food here it was pretty good, quality has definitely dropped. I got a spicebag and a curry sauce, the curry was very nice but the spicebag was very poor. The chicken was definitely diggers southern fried frozen chicken and the amount of chips in it. I pretty much just paid 8euros for a bag of chips. I felt very ill lastnight i was heavily sweating about 3 hours after eating it and i just didnt feel right the lads all said the food wasnt great either you know for the money you pay for food nowadays you’d be expecting it to be better than this. I hope they fix the way they are doing things out here!

02/08/2026: Shocking. I drove an hour this evening for a booking at 8pm to find a note on the door saying kitchen emergency. Closed. No phone call or text to alert me to the issue. Very poor indeed.

01/08/2026: Had to update my review... Fantastic food and amazing staff... Well done 👍👍👍 that's my review of five years ago.... Now... Things changed a lot.... Chips are absolutely drenched in oil... Onion rings non edible at all... Burger was barely a 4 out of 10... Bread smelled odd... Bacon cooked till was basically rubber.... No cheese at all( if I'm correct, should be cheese on it) I will think twice about going there again soon...

28/07/2026: Immaculately clean even the toilets were top ,better than any of the hotels I have been in Dungarvan lately. Best doner kebab in Dungarvan. Fresh cod fresh and decent portion ,chips top quality and great service.

19/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic. I think it is probably the best Chinese restaurant l have been in. A brilliant spacious restaurant and air conditioned. Wonderful atmosphere. Thank you Sam and all his colleagues for making our evening so special. I have taken a few photos far to many to post but the choices on the menu brilliant. Child friendly and a very nice children's menu. Beautiful decor. Great value.Takeaway also available. Good portions. The Staff couldn't do enough for you magnificent. Wheelchair friendly. A very busy place. Call in highly recommended. Well worth a visit. You certainly won't be disappointed

04/07/2026: Today I went to a restaurant, and the girl who served us water provided excellent service and always had a warm smile. I asked for her name, and she told me it was Yu Xiaomei. She is from China and was very friendly and professional. She made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

22/06/2026: I’ve eaten at Reas numerous times over the last few years and it had always served great food and was always so reasonably priced. I ate here at the weekend and I was so disappointed. The service was fine, it was busy so the staff were doing their best but the food was sub par with a notable decrease in portion size. A let down 💔

05/08/2026: This is not the first time this has happened. Every time I order takeaway, there’s a chance that one of the burgers I paid for is simply missing from the bag. This time it was my cheeseburger. It was on the receipt, but not in my order. The problem is not the money. The problem is that after a long, exhausting day, I go to McDonald’s hoping to make my evening a little better. Then I get home, tired and hungry, only to find that part of my meal is missing. What am I supposed to do? Drive all the way back just to get the burger I already paid for? By the time I return home, my fries and nuggets will be cold anyway. This repeated carelessness wastes customers’ time and completely ruins the experience. You really need to start checking takeaway orders before handing them out. Honestly, this is just unacceptable. You are careless and irresponsible. I decided to come back because I was finally fed up with this happening over and over again. I wanted to tell them how disappointed I was. Instead of listening or saying anything, the employee just stood there silently, staring at me like he had no idea what to do. After about five seconds of awkward silence, I had to tell him myself that my cheeseburger was missing. He simply handed me the burger and said, “Sorry.” That was it. No one actually listened to what I was trying to say or showed any interest in the fact that this keeps happening. It honestly felt like they didn’t care at all. THANK YOU

19/07/2026: I was trying to show my 2 children the options of food they could get at the display cabinet and was very aggressively told to go to the que which was only around 3/4 people.It wasn't busy there. I didn't think you had to que straight away with 2 kids without at least giving them a quick look to see what options are there. We were only in the hut for less than a minute but this man's attitude was completely out of order.Maybe in late 40's and accent sounded from R of South Africa, could be wrong. Avoid this place if you don't want your family's mood upset by someone that hates their job or is just an ignorant person.
