05/04/2026: Went here this afternoon with a group of friends and honestly have to say it was an absolute treat. The food was incredible, the selection of food was fantastic and greatly priced too. The staff were amazing, have to give a shoutout to the elderly lady who was a pleasure to deal with and made sure we were well looked after. The guiness brown bread was absolutely divine aswell. Really looking after us. The music and atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely be back soon for another visit.

19/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic. I think it is probably the best Chinese restaurant l have been in. A brilliant spacious restaurant and air conditioned. Wonderful atmosphere. Thank you Sam and all his colleagues for making our evening so special. I have taken a few photos far to many to post but the choices on the menu brilliant. Child friendly and a very nice children's menu. Beautiful decor. Great value.Takeaway also available. Good portions. The Staff couldn't do enough for you magnificent. Wheelchair friendly. A very busy place. Call in highly recommended. Well worth a visit. You certainly won't be disappointed

04/07/2026: Today I went to a restaurant, and the girl who served us water provided excellent service and always had a warm smile. I asked for her name, and she told me it was Yu Xiaomei. She is from China and was very friendly and professional. She made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

15/05/2026: Had a wonderful day in the Woodman bar .A bar my family have visited since since the late70's Many thanks to the staff on thd day /night ,Richie, PJ ,Tommy and Ciara who couldn't have been more helpful and engaging in making sure we had a very enjoyable experience, Great characters along the bar ,Matthew, The 2 Johnny's, Niall and Gerry meant the craic was mighty!We Appreciated been felt very welcome which is always the case with Waterford Folk .We hope to see you all again soon for a jar . (Dublin Nev's Cousin 😆)Guys out there ..this is the place to have a drink 👌

22/06/2026: Unfortunately, our experience didn't match the many positive reviews. We ordered two burger meals, a 9" pepperoni pizza, chips and drink for €43.50, but it was poor value for money. The pizza box was dripping with grease, the burger and bacon meat quality was very poor, and the chips were, overcooked, hard, tasteless. The toilet facility also needed attention, no soap available and the toilet seat cover completely missing. On a positive note, the staff were polite. We won't return.

01/03/2026: I'm not sure how to rate a place that served me sliced breaded chicken fillet as a chicken kebab. If they told me we don't have it I would have ordered something else.

02/06/2026: A magnificent old building, beautifully restored and really well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and a big shout out for Roisin. The warmth of her welcome made me feel I was part of the family. Thank you Roisin

22/06/2026: I’ve eaten at Reas numerous times over the last few years and it had always served great food and was always so reasonably priced. I ate here at the weekend and I was so disappointed. The service was fine, it was busy so the staff were doing their best but the food was sub par with a notable decrease in portion size. A let down 💔

16/07/2026: Tried ordering online for delivery 20 minutes before 11am, during checkout they stopped accepting orders, so I got in the car for the drive through as my family still needs food (holidays late breakfast). Got there before 11am and with the breakfast menu still up on the displays I thought happy days, nope, the staff said "We've stopped serving breakfast.", so I said but it's not 11am and mentioned what had already happened online. They didn't care, then repeated the same and here we are, in the past I've overlooked when orders are messed up or items missing, however this isn't minor and they need to improve. In the past the staff and management were fantastic, they even use to take orders over the phone if running late for the breakfast cut off, as well as use to be helpful, not this way for a while unfortunately.

15/02/2026: The service was quick and very friendly, however the only let down was the food. The dishes came out suspiciously quick. The starters were good, but small portions. The pasta was very bad, chicken was like ready to eat chicken not fresh and the sauce was watery, pretty bland, and expected more from an Italian restaurant. The pizza base was so thin and burnt, with the toppings falling off, and again watery. We got a cookie sandwich and tiramisu for desert, cookie was hard and basic Hp ice cream. The tiramisu was basic nothing special. Disappointed in the food overall.

20/12/2025: I have been eating at espresso for years now. I visited the other night and unfortunately left disappointed . The menu appears to have been reduced and a number of the Italian dishes seem to have been removed such as the Tagliatelle Al Fungi (which is strange considering it’s an Italian restaurant). I thought the food was very overpriced for what it was, €19 for a carbonara! And hardly any pancetta in it. For dessert, my friend and I ordered tiramisu’s and tea and were given cups that were visibly dirty and given no spoons to stir our milk. I was also Disappointed to see the portion of Tiramisu had greatly reduced but the price had increased. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I felt like it was poor value for money and I don’t think I’ll be in any rush to return.

09/09/2025: Absolutely horrible place don’t clean the toilets I’ve been to other insomnia cafes and they were lovely this place the quality and taste is horrible , a staff member her name is Emily was advised not to make it too hot as it was for a 3 year old and my sister burnt her mouth with the hot chocolate disgusting

30/08/2025: Coffee is not up to the standard that it should be. I only ever go to insomnia when I’m in a new place because I know that coffee in insomnia is the best and everywhere else I go it’s really good. This place has a good vibe, lovely staff but coffee was definitely not up to standard. I even asked for a remake and it was the same poor flavour of coffee. It is upsetting especially when you know how insomnia coffee usually tastes like and you are not getting it
