10/05/2026: Go to tramore regular with my two god children we go for a swim in splashworld, then we go for a bite to eat, recently we decided to make a change from usual places on the prom we would go for food this time we went up into the town of tramore and found that O'Shea's Hotel was open. We walked inside and were shown to a table and drinks order was taken, found setting to be comfortable warm and friendly it was fab to see open fire 🔥 on the go while there nice to see little tradition kept going. After short wait our drinks were brought to the table. And then our food order was taken by fantastic friendly waitress, she didn't leave us untill she had each order exactly as each one at table required. After short wait food was brought out and I was very surprised with what arrived at the table, i can say O'Shea's exceeded our expectations. Food was hot as it should always be and service received was total above expectations, waitress kept checking to see if everything was ok and to our satisfaction and I can not fault them. There was noting to fault them on. As for the food portions and quality of the food I'll leave pics on here so readers can draw their own opinion, all I can say is O'Shea hotel tramore thank you for the wonderful service you gave us on our visit and we plan to revisit again, keep up what you are doing as it's what customers look for and want when visiting a good business or hotel and restaurant establishment. Don't change what your doing as it works so don't try and fix it coz it is not broke.

16/09/2026: Place looks nice, but was very hot. Food was good but some dishes we ordered were not fresh - to long under heating lamps, and half cold. We waited very long for service to take our orders and for service between meals. Some starters didn't reach the table and some main courses were not what we ordered.

28/08/2026: Stayed there for one night with edwards coaches before ferry back to Wales,very comfy beds,and spacious rooms,dinner was lovely and waiter service much appreciated,only gripe was the toast was cold in morning,but cooked breakfast was nice,would highly recommend,enjoyed the act in bar in night as well while chatting with fellow travellers over a Guinness.

06/07/2026: This hotel is fab , location is key. Atmosphere is great and live music during the summer is a plus. One of the staff wasiu was extra helpful when we had a stay July weekend 6th. Really appreciate his professionalism.

23/08/2026: Aesthetically pleasing restaurant, beautiful colors, very close to the sea, etc. But they have a serious problem with the preparation times... they're slow, both in serving and preparing the dishes. Good food, good fish and chips, especially the one cooked with Guinness, except for the carbonara, which, as an Italian, I dare say wasn't true carbonara, but rather an interpretation of carbonara. I strongly recommend training the staff to be quicker, as waiting an hour just for a drink, with only a few customers seated, is not normal. Otherwise, they're super friendly, and the menus are very clear regarding allergies. Recommended for those with a lot of time on their hands.

06/08/2026: I'm coeliac and it's a long time since I've seen a menu as 'inclusive' as that in Brooklyn. So much available gluten free and what I had was just delicious.

03/09/2026: My family tried this restaurant and had high hopes for a wonderful meal but we were disappointed. The ramen was doused in sweet chilli sauce!!! No depth to the flavour of the broth. The other food we ordered had the same flavour profile of sweet chilli sauce. It’s like the chef didn’t know anything to flavour it with but sweet chilli sauce, something you can buy from your groceries.

16/10/2026: Good food but they don't give much Ketchup.

09/10/2026: If 0 star could be an option I’d choose it. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few bad experiences with wrong orders. Ordered €125 worth of food for work at breakfast. Order arrived over an hour and a half late, order was missing at least €25 worth of food and the hashbrowns were all stuck to the paper because they were in the bag for so long. Drinks were spilled as well and wrong orders were put into the bag. Never ordering from McDonald’s on the Cork Road ever again. Go to the one in the city square!

30/09/2026: A good spot for take away fish n chips to go sit on the beach with. Always busy so food is hot and fresh. The meal deal is a good deal.

01/08/2026: Had to update my review... Fantastic food and amazing staff... Well done 👍👍👍 that's my review of five years ago.... Now... Things changed a lot.... Chips are absolutely drenched in oil... Onion rings non edible at all... Burger was barely a 4 out of 10... Bread smelled odd... Bacon cooked till was basically rubber.... No cheese at all( if I'm correct, should be cheese on it) I will think twice about going there again soon...

28/07/2026: Immaculately clean even the toilets were top ,better than any of the hotels I have been in Dungarvan lately. Best doner kebab in Dungarvan. Fresh cod fresh and decent portion ,chips top quality and great service.

09/09/2026: I ordered a quesadilla from this place, but what I received was completely burnt tortillas. To be honest, I was far too hungry to wait for a new one and I didn’t want to make a scene, but I still think it’s appropriate to leave a review. Most likely, the girl who served me was new, but there was also an experienced staff member with her, so I don’t understand how he allowed a dish in this condition to be served to me. I think the appearance of the food was completely unacceptable. That being said, the food itself was tasty, but the burnt taste ruined the whole thing. I hope this won’t happen again.

03/09/2026: The best Mexican food in Munster, probably in Ireland. The flavour profiles are the closest thing you’ll get to authentic outside of Mexico. Incredible value for such high quality food. The drinks selection is great too. I go here at least once every couple of weeks. I highly recommend it to everyone. You wouldn’t even get better in Dublin if you tried. The staff are also a credit to the place!

23/09/2026: I have to say that this is my favourite restaurant for Indian food OF ALL TIME. I have never tasted korma as nice as theirs. Nothing compares. I have dreams about it. The Jalfrezi is also a top tier dish. This place and their meal for one deal got me through college. I wish I could go back to Waterford and eat their food one last time. They are so kind and generous and always leave little notes saying enjoy your food and they give free poppadoms and dips.

30/07/2026: Nice espresso and hot chocolate, lovely place and they also give you a small free chocolate with your coffee so I would definitely recommend it
