07/08/2026: Went here last Sunday..Big family gathering all drinking and eating..when we arrived it was such a big deal for the girl outside. We felt a total inconvenience, and as the the male manager inside he definitely needs to go on some customer relations course. Although on a beautiful sunny day it is fabulous outside for a drink but we will definitely reconsider finding somewhere else..perhaps The Magestic Hotel.😪

07/08/2026: Staff that we interacted with were nice and pleasant.Cater for allegens and intolerances.Food was nice but pricey at the time of day we went...Lunch.Catch of the day..small darnet of Salmon,3 small baby potatoes...and I mean small and a spoonful of veg...28.95 euro.Would not return.

25/07/2026: Great fish and chip shop that does a variety of different take away option as well (including one veggie option that looked really tasty). We had a fish and chips (with Haddock) and a fish taco. The fish was really fresh and tasty, the chips were spot on. The service was really friendly, the atmosphere on a Saturday night was great - both inside and outside the chippie. Although it was really busy, we waited less than 10 minutes for the meal. Lovely location by the castle (by the side of the estuary) to enjoy the food too.

22/07/2026: Takeaway fish and chips with larger menu (other options including veg) but we always get the fish and chips and its fantastic, decently large portions, well managed counter, lovely staff.

09/06/2026: Spotless, the cleanest chipper I’ve ever been in. As soon as a pizza came out the oven the fella was over to clean any crumbs that came out on to the tray. Every bit of stainless steel is gleaming. Chicken fillet burger is savage too.

15/08/2026: I have ordered delivery due to laziness. I wish i had just had a fried egg. Lana has no idea about asian food. The wonton was inedible, cold, chewy. The singapore noodles, which are supposed to have a peanut sauce have never been in the same city as a peanut. Will never order this again. Someone from Lana needs to find out what real Asian food is. Absolutely inedible. Threw the whole amount in the bin.

22/05/2026: Very great food at great prices. Very nice tasting noodles and great atmosphere. Very relaxing to sit and talk with friends while eating.

Really not what it used to be which is a shame, food was beautiful but service let down. I also got chewing gum stuck to my clothes from under the table - not good
