30/04/2026: Have to say the food is so tasty. I wish my local Chinese in Dublin was as good as this. When in Waterford again , I be definitely be back here. Get the Crispy chicken with satay sauce.

10/05/2026: Go to tramore regular with my two god children we go for a swim in splashworld, then we go for a bite to eat, recently we decided to make a change from usual places on the prom we would go for food this time we went up into the town of tramore and found that O'Shea's Hotel was open. We walked inside and were shown to a table and drinks order was taken, found setting to be comfortable warm and friendly it was fab to see open fire 🔥 on the go while there nice to see little tradition kept going. After short wait our drinks were brought to the table. And then our food order was taken by fantastic friendly waitress, she didn't leave us untill she had each order exactly as each one at table required. After short wait food was brought out and I was very surprised with what arrived at the table, i can say O'Shea's exceeded our expectations. Food was hot as it should always be and service received was total above expectations, waitress kept checking to see if everything was ok and to our satisfaction and I can not fault them. There was noting to fault them on. As for the food portions and quality of the food I'll leave pics on here so readers can draw their own opinion, all I can say is O'Shea hotel tramore thank you for the wonderful service you gave us on our visit and we plan to revisit again, keep up what you are doing as it's what customers look for and want when visiting a good business or hotel and restaurant establishment. Don't change what your doing as it works so don't try and fix it coz it is not broke.

12/04/2026: Paid €170 for a night here, arrived to be told we were in “the second building”. Walked into the second building and it was practically and old run down building, we were put in room 6, there was a gap under the door about 4-5inches, the door handle of the bathroom was falling off, and the room was on a complete slant, there was x2 single beds that looked like something from a sims game, the Lino in the bathroom was coming up and there was a window “slightly frosted” meaning there was ZERO privacy. We weren’t in the room 5 minutes and I went back to reception and credit where it’s due, they were very quick to change us into “the main hotel” as it was put. When we got into the room, it was very very out dated, burns in the carpets and just over all a waste of €170. I understand a room is a room and it’s a place to stay, but for €170 a night for two people for the sake of location it’s not worth it with the Majestic a stone throw away. Breakfast was included, a full Irish was about €15 with a tea or coffee, was standard enough, but again, not worth the money paid for one single night. Completely disappointed and highly annoyed at the rates this place is getting and how they will firstly try and put you in a side building away from the hotel for €170. The first three photos included are from the second room and the last two is gap and door handle of the first room. I’m sure the atmosphere in the bar is fantastic, but as a place to stay honestly keep your money and put it towards somewhere else as this is a complete waste.

30/11/2025: What a find!. Best test of a restaurant is to order vegetarian options,which I did. (Im a carnivore) They were beautifully prepared, full of flavour and very satisfying. Lovely wine list. Place was very busy but service was flawless. Enjoy

17/11/2025: We had planned this dinner for weeks and arrived dressed formally, hoping for a nice evening. One member of our group had more to drink than the rest, but the most dramatic moment from our side was him repeating a question during ordering. There were no raised voices, no comments directed at staff, and no disruption of any kind. It was simply a mildly tipsy lad trying to decide between mash or chips. Despite this, the staff seemed convinced we were about to stage a full-scale riot. Service became unusually tense very quickly, and the passive-aggressive highlight of the night was receiving a takeaway dessert box with an angry face drawn on it. Nothing says “fine dining” quite like a doodle that looks as though it was done by a bored child in a maths class. When we politely asked what the issue was, we received no explanation at all. We were given only vague references to “inappropriate behaviour,” although nobody seemed able to describe what that behaviour actually was. We left confused but ready to move on. I was not even going to leave a review. My friend had already shared his experience, and that was going to be the end of it. However, after reading the owner’s public response, which was full of sweeping accusations without specifics and included the particularly theatrical claim that our table “should have been asked to leave at the first instance of the behaviour,” I felt the need to clarify what actually happened. If that is truly what they believed, I genuinely wish they had said something at the time. We would have happily gone somewhere else and spared everyone whatever imaginary crisis they thought was unfolding. To clarify our experience: • No inappropriate comments were made. • No one spoke to staff disrespectfully. • No disturbance occurred at any point. • Staff raised absolutely no concern with us during the meal. • When we asked directly, no explanation was provided. • All accusations afterward were vague and unverifiable. If the restaurant genuinely believes something inappropriate occurred, they are welcome, at last, to specify exactly what it was. They did not do so on the night, and they have not done so since. The only inappropriate behaviour we witnessed came from the staff, not the guests. We will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the next group’s greatest offence is not asking the same question twice.

01/03/2026: I'm not sure how to rate a place that served me sliced breaded chicken fillet as a chicken kebab. If they told me we don't have it I would have ordered something else.

17/03/2026: OK place. Reasonable prices, wife and I ordered burgers. Not impressed, cheap cheap cheap, you can find better quality ingredients at a chipper. Place needs TLC. Staff were nice thought.

03/05/2026: Unfortunately it was a very disappointing dinner. For someone that knows what its like trying to survive having a restaurant my simple advice is: don't lower down the quality, try to reduce your menu and make it well. I'm not gonna give more details, I just wish you the best and try to make your customers happy.

29/03/2026: Authentic atmosphere with delicious food and attentive service... We felt very comfortable and can recommend the pub.

15/02/2026: The service was quick and very friendly, however the only let down was the food. The dishes came out suspiciously quick. The starters were good, but small portions. The pasta was very bad, chicken was like ready to eat chicken not fresh and the sauce was watery, pretty bland, and expected more from an Italian restaurant. The pizza base was so thin and burnt, with the toppings falling off, and again watery. We got a cookie sandwich and tiramisu for desert, cookie was hard and basic Hp ice cream. The tiramisu was basic nothing special. Disappointed in the food overall.

20/12/2025: I have been eating at espresso for years now. I visited the other night and unfortunately left disappointed . The menu appears to have been reduced and a number of the Italian dishes seem to have been removed such as the Tagliatelle Al Fungi (which is strange considering it’s an Italian restaurant). I thought the food was very overpriced for what it was, €19 for a carbonara! And hardly any pancetta in it. For dessert, my friend and I ordered tiramisu’s and tea and were given cups that were visibly dirty and given no spoons to stir our milk. I was also Disappointed to see the portion of Tiramisu had greatly reduced but the price had increased. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I felt like it was poor value for money and I don’t think I’ll be in any rush to return.

08/05/2026: Recently discovered Romayo’s, and simply refuse to go towards any other take away, it’s so hard to pick something because it’s all just so good! love their new spicebag, always been a fan of chinese spicebag but always thought they lacked chipper chips. Romayo’s fixes this by providing real chicken with fresh chipper chips. Highly recommend!!!

13/04/2026: €8 for a tiny chicken fillet wrap, chicken dry and bland, wrap itself very stale, cold by the time I'd left the shop. Customer service absolutely shocking, staff more concerned with laughing and joking between themselves rather than preparing food or serving customers. As well as that, none of the staff wearing gloves or hair nets, raw and cooked food handled with their bare hands. Will not be back, steer well clear.

30/04/2026: Hi everyone! Did you know that Sake Dog now offers Mexican food? We were pleasantly surprised and decided to try their burritos-they were delicious. The service was great, the music was enjoyable, and the place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. I highly recommend it -definitely worth a visit!

13/12/2025: This was my 4th takeaway from Lana Tramore. The staff are superb and so nice on the phone. The sauces and veg are just amazing. However the chicken is tough. This has been the same experience for all 4 times. It is an awful shame because everything else is perfect. Sadly this is my last time because after 4 tries you would think that the issue would be solved. This is the basic of expectations. Best wishes.
