17/03/2026: OK place. Reasonable prices, wife and I ordered burgers. Not impressed, cheap cheap cheap, you can find better quality ingredients at a chipper. Place needs TLC. Staff were nice thought.

06/04/2026: Our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. We attended a children’s birthday party where adults wished to pay for their orders separately. However, the staff insisted on a single bill, which was both inconvenient and illogical, as we were seated at separate tables. Throughout our visit, the staff displayed visible dissatisfaction, making us feel unwelcome. Two young waitresses were particularly rude, while an older staff member later attempted to remedy the situation. Additionally, the food was mediocre; a parent, who is a chef at a local restaurant, confirmed this. In today’s world, where we work hard for our money and everything is increasingly expensive, we try to support small businesses. Yet, we were met with such poor service. I would like to emphasise that those who behave this way in customer-facing roles might be happier elsewhere. If they are unhappy, they should make room for others who will appreciate the role.

13/12/2025: This was my 4th takeaway from Lana Tramore. The staff are superb and so nice on the phone. The sauces and veg are just amazing. However the chicken is tough. This has been the same experience for all 4 times. It is an awful shame because everything else is perfect. Sadly this is my last time because after 4 tries you would think that the issue would be solved. This is the basic of expectations. Best wishes.

05/11/2025: Excellent place for a pint. Friendly, comfortable, atmospheric, clean and a lovely collection of local historical and cultural photos and artifacts.

18/10/2025: 12 of us went in on a Saturday evening and had a sing song. We were there maybe 3 hours and after taking our money, approx 700/800euros, and custom we were asked to keep the singing down as it was upsetting the locals in the bar......there were 3 of them. Would certainly not recommend this place with the way we were treated.

26/09/2025: Kinda weird. They sat us down in the dining room. An empty room, nobody was there. Took our drinks orders, gave us menus. We were ready to go. Then they told us the kitchen wasn’t open…

20/08/2025: I have to say this was my favorite little spot I spent 2 days in Waterford and this little gem was right across the way from me I'm coliac and get left out from their amazing menu I can't tell you how rare it is for me to enter an establishment and dine like everyone else in the place thank you so much the food was amazing the atmosphere was class and the staff were too notch helpful not only accommodating to 2 moody pre teens but 3 tired adults even helped us with bus time tables I highly and whole heartedly recommend this place and can not wait to make a return for some delisous food.

19/01/2026: Today my son was very unwell in McDonalds on the cork Rd in Waterford. I was very anxious and a lady called Mary helped me and sorted out everything and didn't make me feel embarrassed. She was so nice and so good to me and my son. Its not often you see staff who would be as kind and helpful. Thank you Mary and I have shared this with McDonalds head office. They are lucky to have you.

04/12/2025: We visited this waterfront restaurant recently and really enjoyed our experience. It has a beautiful outside terrace, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and the stunning sea views. The atmosphere is very warm, quiet and relaxing—ideal for a family dinner. The food was tasty, well-presented. Overall, it’s a lovely place to unwind, spend quality time with family, and enjoy a nice meal by the water. Highly recommended!

Everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly how I asked. It’s hands-down my favorite thing on the menu. A solid 5-star experience!" Also, I have to mention the staff—honestly, they are 💯. Such a great vibe and excellent service all around Best in waterford. 🍜 Recommended for everyone. 🍱 My favourites are spicy Ramen Noodles and Tempura Prawns 🍤. For me Japanese tempura🍤 prawns delicious than Sushi 🍣 Kyoto, from today u are my favourite place

01/03/2026: Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to no flavour from food whatsoever starters were burned and dry and main course had no flavour at all rice was from microwave staff were friendly but doesn’t help when the food is rubbish definitely don’t recommend at all

09/03/2026: Ok place staff not very engaging with customers unless customers spoke same language as they do, other wise table staff don't greet you don't smile don't ask if everything is ok or is there anything else they can do while your there, I visited here recently and while I was here with other people the server came to our table asked for our orders we had only just sat down in the seats, and had not even looked at the menu, so while looking at the menu they came back again and we had to ask them for little more time and we would call them when we were ready to place order, anyway once we got our food I observed the same server engaging very well and happily with other customers who were very fluent in same language that the server was also fluent in, and this was observed happening at many other tables but at no time during my and my fellow companions receive same type of curtious friendly interaction during our visit, I think shake dog Waterford needs to review their customer services training and engagement and insist in their staff communication with customers in English language only while on shift. So experience by all customers can be 100% inclusive.
