27/01/2025: Location, hot chocolate, food and service great, however: 1. One way to pee off regulars is to not be open at a day/time one would expect. I recently intended to meet someone there and she rang me to say it’s closed.
2. Scones served in rounded plates pasta/salad bowl type dishes, makes it very awkward for cutting/buttering etc, flat plate better.
3. Metal chairs not very comfortable.
14/01/2025: Went to see family and friends we had breakfast in this place the breakfast and cakes were amazing don't miss out 😋😋❤️

16/02/2025: Oh this is an amazing place, we're visiting from Germany and the difference in customer happiness here is astronomical!
Food was scrumptious and it was family time well spent for us. Prices and portion sizes aren't too bad either.
Chopsticks are provided.
The free ice cream is fun and delicious as well.
Free Parking right in front.
15/02/2025: Ramen but they don't sell Ramen... Why name the place Ramen if it isn't even an option on the menu?! Apart from that everything else is tasty!

14/02/2025: I was already seated and after I ordered I was told I had to order a minimum of two courses , I said I only wanted one course and I was told it wasn't possible, I asked if I could have one course and one drink and was told no, I had to leave... extremely disappointed.
18/12/2024: We had a delicious vegan pizza with dairy-free cheese. The portions were generous, the price reasonable and the staff exemplary. The only hitch was we asked for a vegan salad and got one with bacon in it, which they kindly offered to change. A completely forgivable mistake of course, but just make sure they understand that you ordered vegan to be sure. 😉 Will definitely be going again.
A vegan salad would be a nice addition to their menu.

11/03/2025: Best Supersubs in Waterford, exceptional quality and prices. Lots of deals going around too and the staff is always super friendly. Shoutout to Mariya, Natalia and the other staff for always being kind 🙌 I reccommend the four meat melt - extra toasted.

20/07/2024: The pizza is top quality delicious goodness combined with the most friendly staff I've ever encountered makes a visit to this hidden gem a must. After dinner I got talking about the sport of Irish Hurling with the chef. I've never seen a live match so the chef gets a hurling paddle from his car to show me the critical tool of the game and gives me a hurling ball to take back home. I'm overcome with joy from experiencing the best of human nature. Please pay this wonderful establishment a visit. You'll be glad you did.

13/03/2025: Unfortunately, this café does not seem to understand what an espresso macchiato truly is. The owner himself prepared what was essentially a cappuccino with chocolate on top, insisting it was a macchiato. When I kindly requested a proper macchiato—two short shots of espresso with a thin layer of foam—he instead served a large espresso filled with MILK and foam. He also mumbled something behind me—... .While the location is great, the customer experience was disappointing.
The feeling /experience is like in a global café shop chain than a true local spot.
For an authentic local café experience and a proper espresso or macchiato, I highly recommend The Arch, just 50 meters away.

However the opening hours stated on google isnt the same as the store. Perhaps that could be updated. Came all the way from Cork, i should’ve called and check rather than just doing google search 🥺

09/11/2024: “I really enjoyed eating the food at this place - an experience I just can't describe in words! The potatoes were perfect, a real treat, and at an extremely affordable price. The pizza was absolutely divine, probably the best I've ever had. My boyfriend, who is from Germany, was also impressed and told me he had never tasted anything like it before!
We also ordered taco fries, I think that's what they're called, and were amazed at how tasty they were. I would happily recommend this place to anyone! 10 out of 10 – delivery was fast and overall experience extremely pleasant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

05/03/2025: I have visited this place recently together with my family. It was really good service and perfect environment there. All meals were very delicious and with affordable prices.
03/03/2025: My wife and I stayed overnight in the Tannery Townhouse and had dinner in the Restaurant. It was our second time at the restaurant but our first staying overnight in the townhouse. The staff were so welcoming, our room had recently been refurbished and was so comfortable, warm and beautifully decorated. Dinner was exceptional. My wife loves seafood and chose the seafood mixed grill as her main and she said it was the best seafood dish she has ever tasted. We will be back as soon as we can and hopefully stay for a few more days next time.
