Perhaps that could be updated. Came all the way from Cork, i should’ve called and check rather than just doing google search 🥺

14/05/2025: Had a very bad experience here today have 3 kids with autism we always eat upstairs but today we went it we weren't aloud upstairs so the kids all started getting overstimuled and begun to have meltdowns as they hate loud noises which none of us could eat I'm sure it was very difficult on the children and we ended up eating in the car.

14/05/2025: I am extremely disappointed with the way Supermacs handled the situation with my autistic sons. During a busy time, they were not allowed upstairs, when they are normally allowed but not with the manager working there today and were forced to stay downstairs, where they became overwhelmed and distressed, leading to screaming and meltdowns. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see my children treated this way. A family-friendly restaurant should have better accommodations for children with disabilities, including sensory-friendly spaces or understanding staff who can offer support—not exclusion. The lack of empathy and reasonable adjustments made our visit incredibly stressful. I expected better from a business that claims to welcome all customers. Until Supermacs improves its accessibility and staff training for neurodivergent guests, I cannot recommend this location.

16/05/2025: Pub is dark and in need of serious upgrading. Interior is depressing and looks jaded and dirty. Toilets (male) are smelly, door locks not working and wood panels displaced behind toilets are filthy. Food is awful. Fish and chips… watery fish within the batter. Overcooked. The accompanying salads were tired and not well dressed. The burger was presented with a steak knife stuck through the top of the bun (maybe it wasn’t yet dead!!!) The patty was over compressed and had the texture of rubber. No seasoning whatsoever. The bacon with cheese on top was incinerated - not good. A word about chips…. NEVER fry chips in oil which has had fish in it already, particularly if having a burger. They were fishy. I would not recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone. There are better establishments in the centre of Waterford. The days of being served food of a quality less than what you would cook at home are long gone!!! I really thought the days of establishments like this were long gone… obviously not.

27/04/2025: Ordered Korean Chicken Wrap and my GF ordered the burger… the burger was decent one of the best I’ve eaten (tasted), the wrap was the complete opposite end of the spectrum …super poor frozen breaded chicken. I complained and they asked me was there anything else I wanted, I just asked for fresh so I tried the wings, they were precooked from the day before (shocking) the owner whom disappeared when the situation arose of dissatisfaction to leave it to the waitresses. I requested the owner to come down, he tried to tell me that they prepare the breaded chicken in the wraps everyday and that every restaurant pre cooks chicken wings. Long story short… if you visit, just order the burgers or pizzas. We ordered a cocktail and they make them on cordials (not fresh juice), yet they have fresh juice prices … thread carefully in here to achieve satisfaction.

24/05/2025: had a lovely stay in the townhouse 🏠 which is located right next to the water! the dinner was fabulous - for mains, we ordered the ribeye steak (& mash) and grilled seafood which was delicious, and the chocolate mousse was amazing too! the service was great, the staff were very professional and welcoming.

18/05/2025: Excellent service at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. All ingredients were really fresh and high quality. The slow cooked beef was delicious. Location is central and convenient for shops etc. We were lucky to get a car parking space for free in small car park opposite the restaurant. Accommodation in the townhouse is only 2 mins walk away. Compact and spotlessly clean. Perfect for a short stay. Would highly recommend for a special treat.

10/05/2025: I ordered my wedding cake from Rob & Steve’s and couldn’t recommend them more! I wanted a simple two tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, with the plan to have my florist provide flowers to decorate it. I was ordering from abroad (destination wedding) so communicated mostly via email, and even so the staff were so helpful walking me through the sizing and filling options, and accommodating when I needed the cake for a Sunday wedding (they’re closed Sundays) but they were able to deliver it the Saturday afternoon the day before (then my friend added the florals on Sunday, for which Rob and Steve’s also provided guidance to share with my friend - amazing!). The price was great, and the cake turned out stunning. I got so many complements on how delicious it was, friends were happy to take leftovers. None went to waste!
