The best restaurants in Waterford

11/05/2025: Stayed here for a night on a recent road trip. Older hotel but clean and comfortable with some charm. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Awesome location. Ample off-street parking, entrance is off Turkey Rd, saw the sign before we arrived so were able to park before checking in. Just saw it by chance, would be nice to have known ahead of time. Short walk to hotel. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Tramore (which we hope to some day).

22/04/2025: Some posts have described this hotel as tired, run down and in need of a facelift. True but I describe it as lived in. Its not luxurious but its more than adequate. Carparking is a short walk away, convenient enough. Its a great hotel right next to the water and very handy to the town centre, the strand and arcades plus nearby walks. Its dog friendly so full marks already. Zoe was allowed into the bar and dining room, albeit in a cosy corner. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The food is great too with good size servings, you won't go hungry! The room was comfortable although the bathroom is a little cramped. Tea/coffee making space is limited but we got by. The shower over bath was good, the bed comfy, so all in all full marks and no complaints. Happy to stay here again if we venture to this area.

16/03/2025: Got a delivery asked for extra sauce on the wrap which they ignored it's as dry with a dot of garlic On it asked for Salt and vinegar which they ignored as well and they put none ordered bbq wings and they sent out soggy tenders with bbq which was spilt all inside the bag take them Off the menu if ye don't have them absolute waste of money in the bin it is would not order from here again if you are able to read the order well you can read the comments so don't be so ignorant and ignore what the customer is asking for

26/04/2025: Really enjoyed the pizza (Nduja). The right amount of toppings, a good chew, and the bottom had a crunch. At around 15 euro/pizza I thought it was good value Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend

23/05/2025: Location was a bit weird proximity to an abandoned building and rear of circle K petrol station. Food was lovely, nice aroma with fresh herbs. huge portion. Mains come with free ice cream.

01/05/2025: Left waiting for food for 25 minutes and all I got was a chicken burger and an ice cream. Finally after waiting so long I asked if they forgot about it. Then they said stand away from the counter until it’s ready and the manager and worker at the counter argued with eachother infront of the counter. Shocking place would give it less than a star if I could

28/04/2025: Excellent experience. We arrived with a bus of 60 secondary school students at very late notice, but the prompt service and attitude of the staff were commendable. They served each one of us very quickly and we had no issues. Store manager Blaine and his team could not have been better, and the food was excellent and fresh. I would highly recommend 👍🏼
