10/08/2025: Had a pint and a generous glass of wine on heated area in front of the bar. Lovely location lovely view of the harbor and a lovely price.

09/07/2025: We a family of 4 walked upon The Anchor while visiting Dungarvan. As it looked busy we decided to have lunch. Glad we did. We had two fresh cod and chips and two burgers and chips. The fish was fresh and tasty. The burgers were Devine and portions large. Highly recommend The Anchor for food if you in Dungarvan. Lovely clean pub in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbour.

18/09/2023: Dog friendly. Good food. Little expensive i thought but it was really nice flavour. Chicken gougons had a harf cripsy coating and the smash burger was really good. Order took a bit long but we'll worth the wait.

02/09/2023: Good food, friendly staff. I had "Squash bhaji" which was really good. Chips could have less or non salt, especially for kids meals.

25/07/2025: This is review on the takeaway service in Cafe Goa. Firstly the food is lovely, but although you are told it is busy, and takeaways can be up to an hr for delivery, we live literally 5 mins drive from restaurant but were having a drink so we couldn't collect. 2hrs for delivery and food stone cold when it arrived. The price is expensive but if the food is good you can accept that, however , what I can't accept is cold food for the expensive cost. So unfortunately I will not be eating or ordering from Cafe Goa again. Martin Roche. 👎

31/05/2024: Can't rate the food I got sent here via Google maps. Seemed impressed showed inside and outside of a restaurant on photos. Arrived at said address nothing. Needs to update Google page. If u haven't a restaurant please don't pretend u do. Apparently it's A converted horsebox.

14/08/2025: Security in the pub are incompetent, was there with my partner during spraoi, some drunk fella took our seat and refused to go despite us politely asking him, bouncer (young tall dude with the beard) did little effort to move him away and then shook his hand and started being rude to us told us to go away. Would never recommend this place

05/03/2025: We ordered from Naas in February for collection and they forgot an item (only prawn crackers but still really wanted them for with our meal). We drove 15 mins down 15 mins home to get them and it was sh*t but they were very apologetics and said they would add 20 euro to our account as we order regular enough every other week. Called today less than 2 weeks later and when I said about the credit they said no they would just give us free prawn crackers now. I said it wasn’t the prawn crackers it was the 30 mins drive down and back and my ruined meal the previous time. I should have got them to replace the whole meal at the time but was trying to be nice about it. Will not be ordering again very poor customer service. They have lost a regular customer.

31/03/2024: Got the chance to have a few pints there on its final night in business. It will be missed.

20/07/2024: The pizza is top quality delicious goodness combined with the most friendly staff I've ever encountered makes a visit to this hidden gem a must. After dinner I got talking about the sport of Irish Hurling with the chef. I've never seen a live match so the chef gets a hurling paddle from his car to show me the critical tool of the game and gives me a hurling ball to take back home. I'm overcome with joy from experiencing the best of human nature. Please pay this wonderful establishment a visit. You'll be glad you did.

25/08/2025: Good choice of food. My son was able to have gluten free fish and chips and this is the reason we chose to eat here. The restaurant was very busy when we ate here. We had booked a table. We were a little late being seated, at no fault to the staff,just that the previous diners were enjoying the last of their meal. Staff were so apologetic about this and offered us a drink on the house. This was a very nice gesture and we appreciated it. A great little dining spot in Tramore with gluten free options and very pleasant staff.

20/08/2025: Absolutely lovey. Food perfect. Great service. Lovely surroundings. Caters for Gluten free and lactose intolerant. Nothing too much trouble. Would drive the hour and a half from home just to eat here. (was o a family day trip with visitors, never been to Tramore before although lived in County Wexford for 17 years!).
