11/10/2025: Foods nice, pity about the service, man serving is beyond ignorant grunts at you, pushy, towards customers and staff dont understand why he bothers working there if hes that unhappy dont get into working with the public. If hes the owner he needs to do something else just makes people uncomfortable. 2 Stars are for the food.

09/10/2025: absolutely horrendous, didnt even get my food. The absolute cheek to false advertise a food product and then proceed to not have that food product or better yet not bother making it. was dying for a kebab after a long stressful day to help bring the mood up, went in examined the menu and seen all sorts of kebab options, when i got called to order i politely asked for 1 donee kebab, which i got a reply of no kebab, no reason no explanation just simply “no kebab”. I decided i might try something else instead but i did not even get acknowledged to chose a different option from the menu. will not be returning. i am now sat in my apartment eating stale bread. Thanks for the thrilling food experience Brenan’s.

10/07/2025: Was looking forward to trying this place for lunch so invited a colleague, we were left standing at the counter for 15 minutes before the girl even took our order. I asked for the roasted vegetable toastie and was told that they didn't have any. It was on the menu so I asked "can't you make one?" And was met with a shrug of sher shoulders. I then asked what was in the sourdough rolls on display at the counter, she answered "ham and cheese" I asked, "what type of of cheese?" since the menu had varying sandwiches with pecorino or scammorza etc. And I wondered if the ham she referred to was cooked ham or prosciutto crudo. She replied, "Oh, I wouldn't know that" I gave up and asked for one of those, i then asked if I could get some tomato on it, she said, "they are all pre-made". I asked, "well, do you not have any ingredients here? No tomatoes? Couldn't you chop one up and add some?" Which, to me, did not seem an unreasonable request, In an "Italian" place, tomatoes being the cornerstone of Italian cuisine. She shrugged again. So I paid for my coffee and sandwich and asked for a glass of water. She said, "sit down and I'll drop everything down to you. Another 10 minutes passed and she brought our food to our table. Cooked ham and still not sure about the cheese. No glass of water! I went back to the counter and asked for two glasses of water, (one for my colleague) she handed me one, I said "sorry, I asked for two glasses" and was met with a sigh. Then she proceeded to argue with another customer because they didn't take their table number to their table, before getting the second glass. Anyone can have a bad day but she clearly wasn't very good at her job and didn't want to be there. Maybe I should lower my expectations, but was quite disappointing. The most Italian things about this place were the imported Italian pasta products displayed on the shelves. You'll find more variety and staff knowledge of the offerings (and get a warmer welcome) at a deli counter in any convenience store chain.

10/05/2025: Coffee served in paper cups instead of mugs.even though we ordered on the site.

04/10/2025: Best takeaway In waterford with years wouldn't order from anywhere else in town! So nice on the phone if you need anything, delivery driver is so nice always too, food and salad is so fresh 👌

28/09/2025: The family meal was 43 euro we gave him an extra 50cents he told us to pay 5 more euro so we did and we went home and didn't didn't put the cola and the mini garlic pizza so we called him and said you forgot the mini garlic pizza and the cola and we told him why did we have to pay 48 euro when the family meal was 43 euro and he said that it was 48 euro and if you want you can check the website photo so we did and we saw it said 43 euro and he is such a thief he ate my pizza and he toke my cola bottle so we went back home so my 9 kids could eat + me and my husband and all my kids were asleep bc of them and they say its 48 euro when we saw it was 43 euro and they didnt give you your reseat

28/10/2025: May no child ever live to see that Donner Menu in Apache , The kebabs were smaller that my dogs left pinky . To the boss man who made that I hope ur pillow is roasting hot tonight on both sides.🙏🥀

24/10/2025: ordered food for delivery and was paying by cash. delivery driver got lost trying to find my house and when given directions still couldn’t find the house. he eventually found the house and when he did myself and my dad were at the door. he was given a €50 note as we had no other change. the man had no change in his pocket so requested that i (25yr female) walk with him to his car (even though he could have driven to my house) in order to get the change. i refused to do this and he ended up giving the money back to us and then went back to his car himself. he then drove down the back of my house to give us our change. not happy with the service at all as our food was almost cold by the time we got it and the service from the delivery driver was very bad.
