03/01/2025: The place is just wonderful. We went because they have Irish Stew in the menu. Right away we felt we as if we were family. The atmosphere was family friendly and the staff were amazing. Great hospitality. The Stew is the best I have had since being in country (sampled five others from Waterford to Sligo, to Cork and Londonderry) and I plan to visit again tomorrow!

25/01/2025: We had dinner here on a Thursday evening we got 4 starters to share all delicious we opted for a basket of bread, garlic mushrooms, brushetta and garlic potato skins. For our main we got the mushroom pasta and pizza to share couldn't fault any of it waiters are so friendly and helpful we didn't feel rushed even when it was close to there closing time will be back again super italian food

22/12/2024: We were in Waterford on a family day out for Winterval. Having made some gingerbread people we looked for a spot to feed the kids (2 boys aged 4 so pasta is usually a good option). My wife found Emiliano's. A short stroll from the main square. When we got there we were told there were no tables available but at a second check a table was located. The service was prompt, kids had their food very quickly. Restaurant was full and a great atmosphere there. The food was exceptional, staff so friendly and welcoming. What we couldn't finish we took away with us. Fabulous little find, would recommend to anyone and will defo be back again. Billy

24/12/2024: We had a very nice lunch here. The mains we had were lamb shank, pan fried plaice and the seafood pie. The plaice was perfect and the others were delicious too. Pleasant and prompt service. A good restaurant and we left very full and happy despite the wet weather. Highly recommended .

13/02/2025: Stopped by for a pint and lunch...we weren't disappointed! I ordered the seafood pie (locally sourced fish) and my husband the Guinness hot pot...both were fantastic! And since we couldn't help ourselves, we also ordered a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. O.M.G...it was beyond delicious! If you're in the area and are looking for a great place to grab a bite... do yourself a favor and swing by here. You won't regret it! I only got a shot of the pudding...the seafood pie was dug into immediately. Oops!

29/11/2024: Very bad service. We ordered for delivery and they came after more than one and a half hours (6 minutes of car distance). They promised me that we would have 30€ of discount in out next order as a compensation even though our order cost was around 21€. We tried to order again and only offere 9€ discount. Don’t trust them and careful with the delivery times.

Though I never stayed in the hotel itself, I found myself returning to Elva time and time again, especially on the days when I didn’t feel like cooking. It wasn’t just about convenience—it was about the experience. The food was always outstanding, crafted with care and presented beautifully. Every meal felt like a small indulgence, a quiet moment of joy in the midst of daily life. But what truly made Elva special was the atmosphere. There was a deep sense of tranquility there, a kind of peacefulness that made it the perfect place to unwind. Whether I was sitting alone, savoring a meal, or sharing the space with others, I always felt welcome. And then, of course, there was the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, they had a way of making every visit feel personal. I never once had to ask for anything—they anticipated needs before they even arose, always proactive, always professional. But beyond their efficiency, they were simply lovely people, ready to chat, to share a smile, or to offer a moment of connection that made the experience all the more special. If I ever find myself back in Waterford, I know without a doubt that I’ll be returning to the restaurant of Marina. Not just for the food, but for the warmth, the familiarity, and the feeling of being somewhere that truly cares about its guests.

03/02/2025: Adorable hotel in a great location. Rooms were okay, refurbished and comfortable. The best part of the stay was the staff at the bar. Highly recommend !
