03/10/2026: We came on McLeary's by chance. So glad we did. They don't take bookings but they suggested if we were there by 17.45 we would get a table. How right they were,by 18.00 it was full. They operate a very good wait system ,advising people to return at a given time. It works well,and certainly stops the 'no shows'. The food we had was probably the best in our recent 2 weeks in Ireland. Superb, totally recommend 👌

23/09/2026: What a perfect, casual spot for our afternoon stop. The chicken pesto sandwich was fabulous with fresh ingredients and delicious homemade bread. The fantastic home baked cookies were the perfect ending!

01/09/2026: A very nice pub. We had excellent oysters with Tabasco (a new discovery!) and mussels, both served in very generous portions: one with a tomato, vodka, and chili sauce, and the other with a traditional white wine sauce. After an Irish coffee, the owner offered us a glass of whiskey.

08/09/2026: The most equisite meal we have ever had. Everything perfection. Still in awe at the standard. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and this was literally the perfect meal. Make it your mission to dine here.

05/09/2026: We went to celebrate a special occasion and the restaurant did not disappoint in any way! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with sourdough and brown grain bread; they had a set menu that I highly recommend! Let's start with the starters: we chose the croquette with tomatoes (veg), I can't put it into words, creamy, flavorful, and comforting, wonderful 10/10. For the main course, we ordered the beef, which came at exactly the temperature we chose, and my husband was very happy with his choice. I asked for the vegetarian option, which wasn't on the menu; I asked the waiter, and that night we were served spinach tortellini with zucchini and shallots – an incredible mix of flavors! For dessert, I ordered a raspberry soufflé with pistachio ice cream, and my husband went for chocolate mousse. I think it's important to mention that the portions aren't absurdly large, but they are very filling! We ordered carrot sides, which are great for sharing. We couldn't finish everything, unfortunately, but it was very good. It was our first time there, and it was amazing. The wine list is very diverse and extremely affordable. I highly recommend going there!

09/09/2026: Really good spot for a nice Breakfast/brunch/ lunch. The food is fresh, tasty and priced reasonably. The staff are very friendly and its a pet friendly place. The coffee is amazing, the flat white and the cappuccino was so creamy. We had the “Meat Ball Hero” and “Roast Chicken & Chorizo “ it was divine. They do close at 3pm so u better go early 😉

23/08/2026: A fantastic little Polish food stand serving traditional zapiekanki. We tried the Deluxe and the Zapiekanka of the Day, and both were absolutely delicious! The ice cream was also really good. The staff were incredibly cheerful, friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Great location too — definitely a place worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

12/09/2026: This was a lovely hidden gem in Waterford— right near downtown, lots of parking, and most importantly excellent food! My family and I were so happy to find great Italian food on our travels all the way from Pennsylvania. We would happily go back!
