We have been coming to Cavan for years, and we recently thought we'd try this restaurant. Delighted with the food and service. Well done to all.
11/05/2025: Loved it - mix of formal with touch of comfort casual, so easy to settle relax and enjoy yourself. Staff was amazing, 3 in particular standing out most (Thomas, Gabe and Josh) made us feel more than welcomed with friendly casual chats to the most helpful of advice and recommendations esp the cocktails which are 10/10. (Except maybe the banana daiquiri) Steak and Chicken supreme were incredible and the starters were of decent portion size and the flavours were just perfect.

01/06/2025: We highly recommend this place. We stumbled upon it by chance and didn't regret it. After a short time, we had a table for five (without a reservation). The service staff was very attentive, we had a short wait, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was truly imaginative and inviting. We felt very comfortable and left more than satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
25/05/2025: Brilliant place to go with family and caters for disability users. We were given first class service with very friendly staff and great food. I would highly recommend it and will be back.

11/05/2025: Myself and my family went here for my relative's wedding over the weekend. And it was a life experience , I will never , ever forget We were up dancing Having the laugh. And lots more. We didn't stay because it was too expensive. So we stayed at another hotel. that was only 10 minutes away from here. It was absolutely brilliant.I will definitely be back to stay. Please god And one more thing, thank you to all the staff for their huge honour of setting this all up. You sure did work very hard in it👍

09/05/2025: The food is grand. With my son's meal he didn't want ice cream but asked for a milkshake instead, which was refused by the rude girl who for some reason is a manager. The male staff are lovely and it's a pity some other staff are not.

02/06/2025: What a gem of a café! The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, relaxed vibe from the moment you walk in. Their breakfast is absolutely fantastic — a real treat to start your day right. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient, especially if you're heading into or out of Cavan. And don’t even get me started on the cakes and pastries — they looked absolutely irresistible! Definitely worth a stop.
01/06/2025: Just popped in for a few small bits! Got two sponge cakes with like a creamy topping (bueno & pistachio) - they were absolutely amazing! We also got some pastries - a chicken one and a beef one, both of which were lovely! Would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced - we will be returning. Staff (I have a suspicion we were dealing with the owner) were very helpful and friendly!

Hotel Kilmore

07/05/2025: Very disappointed with the food. We had the salmon with mash and lamb with mash. The salmon was dry and lacked flavour. The greens underneath it were served in a brown water which tasted terrible. They were inedible. The lamb was nice but the sauce it was drenched in was awful. The mash was very dry and flavourless. This restaurant just didn't do the basics well at all. We won't be back and wouldn't recommend it.
26/04/2025: "After attending a funeral nearby, our group of over 20 people arrived without a reservation, simply hoping to find a place to eat together. We were provided with outstanding service and truly excellent food. It was exactly what we needed, and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly."

03/05/2025: We just returned from the oak room, it was delightful from start to finish.
My husband and I travelled feom Omagh and it was well worth the drive,lovely staff,wonderful food, great ambience and reasonably priced with an excellent cocktail list.
We will definitely be back - thanks Laura and staff x
02/05/2025: Lovely atmosphere.. beautiful food and great staff.. all in all a lovely night out. All the very best to Amy .. who was training tonight.. lovely pleasant girl and to the waitress who had moved back to Cavan from Australia.. lovely friendly staff!

03/06/2025: Cheesesteak was good, steak wrap not so much. Ranch was totally bland, salad tiny. Cans of Coke too expensive. Service was good.

11/04/2025: Nice wee pub, lovely staff. Food was basic but filled a hole. Burger and chips, chicken burger and chips - did the job but would only go again if we were hungry and needed something quick. There are stairs just inside the door and no other accessible entrance so hubby had to fold my wheelchair and lift it down after helping me. Nothing they could do about the layout as it is a cosy place.

09/05/2025: The food is good and the only downfall really is it's a little pricy and too overcrowded for my liking. Its always very busy and the shop sells upmarket homewares which aren't cheap but are lovely. Good shop for nice gifts. The food really is very good, but the tables are too cramped and im not a noise person, so it's a bit loud at times. Grainne the owner is lovely though as are the staff.
