The best restaurants in Cork

14/07/2025: What an amazing restaurant! Excellent food - our favorite meal in Ireland! Great customer service; we sat at the bar and had great interactions with everyone there. Also, get the side of mushrooms - you won’t be disappointed.

13/07/2025: We sat here on the terrace, which was completely empty to have a drink and wait for our friends for dinner. Unfortunately, eating with 6 people inside was no longer possible because the restaurant was small (made sense), we were not allowed to sit outside with 6 people because the waiter suddenly expected people at the tables where nobody was sitting and no reserved sign on it either (outside). When we asked if we could only have a drink outside to wait for our friends to arrive, we were told that we also had to order food, but we were just told that was not possible?!?! We were not at all welcome and all suggestions were declined. A very unprofessional comment from the waiter was: maybe first come and talk to me in the future maybe I could have arranged something. But if you literally have a terrace, don’t you expect people to sit there when all seats are vacant? I thought it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional attitude of this man. Would never go here just by the way they treat you.

16/07/2025: Se encontró con este restaurante en busca de comida en 2103. Restaurante dos puertas arriba aconsejado “cocina cerrada a las 2100! ” Y eso fue todo. Fui a este restaurante y qué joya. Mi esposa tenía sushi - fresco, delicioso y perfectamente presentado! Tenía tepinyaki de res y simplemente genial A nuestro hijo de seis años le apetecía un plato de cerdo y cocinaron media porción a petición - no hay problema. ¡Todo por menos de 60€ incl. dos cervezas! Definitivamente volviendo.

10/07/2025: We stumbled upon Crust while walking around Cork and decided to pop in — and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely wonderful, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered hit the spot. The service was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. It had a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made it perfect for a casual stop. Sometimes the best meals are the ones you don’t plan, and this was definitely one of those pleasant surprises. If you’re in Cork and craving something delicious without the wait, Crust is a must-try!

19/07/2025: If you'd told me the best vegan dining experience I'd ever experience would be in Cork I'd not have believed it. So glad we took the time, I was blown away. I'll be thinking about this meal forever.

19/07/2025: Really disappointing, went here a few weeks ago, you get probably 4 good but not great dishes and the others mediocre. Forgot the drink order twice too busy chatting. Did not live up to the hype no chat from server, very dull experience.

20/07/2025: Great proper breakfast and fun themeing!! Staff were great with turning tables over quickly without making you feel rushed. Definitely come before 10 if you dont want to wait a little

17/07/2025: We went in for breakfast after arriving from Edinburgh as I had asked a Guarda who was standing with his bicycle and he recommend Tony's Bistro for a good breakfast. We both had the "The Godfather" which was lovely, staff very friendly, nice and clean

15/07/2025: I judge a hotel in particular by whether the content of the information on the homepage corresponds to reality. This is absolutely the case with Mayfield Manor. I have nothing but words of praise for it: - Good and quiet location - Good cuisine - Very nice rooms with air conditioning. ... and much more.

06/07/2025: The food at Izz Cafe has yummy and flavorful food with a great atmosphere. We arrived and they were booked but they did everything they could you make it work so we could stay and eat. I would definitely recommend eating here.

12/07/2025: Great apps and good wine selections. Super disappointed by the porterhouse. It lacked flavor and salt. It was a disappointing steak for the price. Apps were small. Felt hungry after leaving. The staff was great however. Super friendly and accommodating.

11/07/2025: The tasting menu is a must-try! Each dish brings out the purest flavors of each ingredient! Absolutely worth it experience!

15/07/2025: Lovely restaurant that was recommended by the people we were renting from and they true to their word that this place was worth a visit.

14/07/2025: We turned up here and got the last table for two. In hindsight we should have booked - a large youth group turned up soon after us, we just got lucky. The menu has a good selection, the food was tasty and very nicely cooked. Irish style cheesecake is a new one for me, it was different to what I'm used to but still delicious. The only disappointment was no loo roll in the ladies. Unfortunate, but one star off for that.

03/07/2025: Fantastic breakfast, staff very kindly accommodated a change to the order. Food came out quickly and was beautifully presented. They have a few tables outside and plenty of seating inside (there’s an upstairs loft as well). Toilets both on the ground floor and upstairs. Would definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast! Everything was delicious.

23/06/2025: I had the eggs Benedict on the English muffin with pulled ham. The presentation was gorgeous. It was delicious, bursting of flavour. Our waiter was very friendly! I would recommend this place.

29/07/2025: Pepe served us very gently, he was polite, and the plates came in time. He also speaks spanish.

29/07/2025: E we have been away from home for 10 days and the meal at Nosta was the nicest we have enjoyed in that time. Highly recommend.
