20/12/2025: Goldie never disappoints! If you're visiting Cork or from Cork, goldie 100% has to be on the to do list. The food, services, drinks are always 10/10. Have been going to goldie for years and the standard has never changed. Great team and service inside there. Would highly recommend. Whether you want a full 3 course meal or sharing/tapas style dining, its suits every occasion.

Natalia is just the most amazing person explains every dish every part of the menu. I loved every second the chef should be so proud the food was Devine. 12/01/2026: Very expensive & not good enough food quality to match the high price. I went here before COVID and rated this place as my favourite restaurant in Cork City. But not anymore after this experience. Staff were appearing very friendly at the beginning, and he was attentive. But he talked extremely fast, and for my Brazilian fiancée this was a struggle, even for myself, a Corkonian, it was very fast but it was ok just a bit of a rushed of service how he spoke to us. However, when my Brazilian fiancée addressed it in a nice way the waiter replied with "is that a problem for you" which was very rude, uncalled for, and inappropriate. It was not professional & it has left us with a bad view of the place since. It's a shame, it went from being my favourite restaurant in Cork City to being a place that I don't know if I would return to again after that bad experience.

05/12/2025: The food is amazing, but I am giving three stars because one of the waitresses is rude every time. The skinny , long hair with a pair of glasses. The other staffs are lovely.

04/01/2026: I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area a couple years ago. The food, atmosphere, and service are always 10/10. The food is fresh and flavorful. The saffron cake is truly devine if you’re in the mood for a treat. They have a fair amount of pantry items and coffee to buy and take home as well. Don’t pass this place up! Do make a reservation though, as they get very busy.

21/11/2025: Staff were excellent, but food was dissapointing , new menu so we were excited to choose , I had the Hake with a veloute sauce , fondant potatoe and broccollini which was a little too al dente, the whole meal was too cool in temperature and very bland. My table mates had the same expereince with their choices. Clearly this is a popular venue with good reveiws , unfortunately we did not have the same experience.

18/11/2025: I LOVE that they use everything from Cork (or at least nearby). There is an information log in the back that tells you where everything is sourced, which was so fun to see after a visit to The English Market. Delicious meal, although the chicken breast was a teeny bit dry. Otherwise, was great!

15/01/2026: 5 stars all the way. My friend Claire, little Lucy and I had a splendid stay with you earlier this week. The kindness and empathy shown to us from the moment we arrived to our departure was exemplary. The staff in every department were friendly, helpful and professional. We are already planning our next trip. Míle buíochas .
