17/08/2025: Unfortunately i didn’t enjoy my food! Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing! Couldn’t even chew the lamb as it was like trying to cut through a slimy brick! Impossible to eat!
The staff was amazing and very welcoming tho👍

17/08/2025: I had my birthday in this beautiful place with wonderful people who serve you wonderfully well. I have no words to thank you. This day became wonderful with wonderful service and wonderful food. I would not recommend this place enough 10/100000000, that's why it's so busy. I've been trying to go to this place for over four months and it was worth all the wait. I can't wait to go back and I recommend it to everyone. As a good Brazilian, I love meat. I can say that the meat in this place is wonderful and of good quality. And the pork, please try the pork. Wonderful.

We had a lovely experience.
The staff is welcoming and catered to customer requests very well.
I ordered a ramen, and they were so nice to change the type of noodle in it.
The miso broth was not too salty, and the pork was melting in the mouth.
My partner ordered a delicious sashimi & sushi mix plate. When he asked to make it gluten-free, the staff was so kind to bring him a GF menu.
Well done to the front of house and the kitchen staff.
We will be back.😊💖

18/08/2025: A typical breakfast, with excellent service, fast and friendly, and good food. I highly recommend it. Second day in Cork, and we'll definitely have breakfast there again tomorrow.
16/08/2025: Great breakfast menu all cooked to a high standard. The setting is great with lots of Godfather / Mafia pictures which makes it interesting.
The staff were excellent and the service of a high standard!

31/08/2025: Delicious and filling meal! We started off arriving 30 mins late after a problem with our car, but staff were very accommodating. Settled in to the tasting menu and everything was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. They adjusted nicely when one guest had intolerance to cream. Was expecting to leave hungry after some reviews but was completely full at the end - particularly after the focacia and almond cake. Fish course was particular highlight, lamb dish slightly salty for my taste. Overall would highly recommend - specifically to have tasting menu as dont think would be as worthwhile to have a la carte.

12/08/2025: I have stayed in hayfield many many times over the years . My most recent visit was last weekend . I must say I thought hayfield had completely lost its family feel . It was so disappointing to have that corporate feel about the place . Familiar faces long gone !! If this is the way hayfield is going then I won’t be returning . Very sad indeed .

08/09/2025: We went for breakfast! Great spot. There was just one gentleman working so it wouldn't be the best for a quick meal, but it was very tasty. If we stayed longer we would've loved to check out some other menu options!

07/08/2025: The worst food I ever had in Ireland…Do not recommend at all. Better not waste your money. The food was served cold and also now they are lying that we ate all the food, but in reality we left more than half food over there and left the shop.
07/08/2025: I just rang to order food from here and the man immediately answered the phone and asked me my age I laughed and said 32 his tone of voice was aggressive. He asked me am I pranking him I said no I'm trying to order food he said well u laughing making the phone call suspicious..talk about being paranoid. Id rather starve what kind of service is that. Absolutely shocking..business must be great in there that they can treat customers that way n loose out.
It's not the first time I've been spoken to like dirt from the staff in this place never ever again will I order from here I got a place around the corner that was 100 times nicer anyway
