07/01/2025: Dinner at Elbow Lane Brew & Smokehouse was truly exceptional. We shared the fresh & delicious burrata starter then watched our rib eye smokehouse steaks being cooked to perfection. We also shared the gratin, the brocolli & the chip sides so we could taste everything. I’d say it was literally the best steak I’ve eaten. The beer (we tried the IPA & the lager) brewed out back was also spot on. Staff were really lovely, attentive & helpful when needed. We’ll def be back when back in Cork.
05/01/2025: I came here for a birthday meal with my family, I knew nothing about this place but to my surprise This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Our server Ryan gave us drinks and put on a show making my mother’s cocktails. Our first course was the wood grilled ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly and it was juicy and tender. For our pudding we had the mousse with a candle placed in the centre. Overall our experience here was wonderful and I enjoyed the environment and the service. Chefs were great, food was great and reservation was great.

06/01/2025: Popped in for a quick pint on the way to the station. Great old atmosphere with a real fireplace and decor that does not seem to have changed in a long time. The Beamish I had was excellent. Will definitely go back on my next trip home to Ireland.

15/01/2025: Excellent Italian restaurant with a modern ambiance and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredibly good and the staff was very friendly and the service was fast. A great place to spend time with family and friends and eat quality food. I will definitely come back.

09/11/2024: the atmosphere of this cafe is really lovely and the staff are really warm. i came here twice during my stay in Cork and both of the drinks i bought (camomile tea and oat latte) were yummy. i'd definitely be a regular if i lived in Cork !

10/01/2025: Cold bacon. Barely warm breakfast. Breakfast was served very quickly but the problem with this is that everything is pre-cooked and then simply not kept warm.
The restaurant wasn’t very busy and breakfast could have been cooked to order and I’m sure it would’ve been delicious.

19/01/2025: Beautiful food. For a small menu it catered for coeliacs vegans vegetarians and the rest of us without scrimping on flavour. The staff were so knowledgeable on the coeliac options and mentioned again as placing food on table. So reassuring. Love it here.
12/01/2025: Wonderful dinner at Orso last night. We were a party of three and each had three courses. Every single course was exceptional!!! The highlight was probably the whole sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Truly fabulous staff who couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. Thank you Orso, we will of course be back!

19/01/2025: Service was excellent, our waiters Nick and another young waiter were very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant and busy, perfect for a Saturday night. The mussels with white wine sauce were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the brownie and ice cream dessert was great. My only critique was that my monkfish main was nice but a bit bland, definitely needed a more flavourful sauce as the sauce served with it was a bit plain and didn’t compliment the dish
