Coffee Corner Cafe

24/07/2025: Lovely place. Dog friendly corner, and large dog free area to suit all. Delicious choice of sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls etc as well as sweets. Had the Brie and Bacon ciabatta and apple pie after both of which I'd highly recommend. Very friendly staff too.
14/07/2025: had a refreshments here after a few hours in The Range - hit the spot - lovely atm - Victoria was great - gorgeous brown bread and cake - tea and coffee... relaxing and comfortable - felt revived afterwards and wasn't expensive unlike another place near by.. products are home made too - either on site or from local sources - a great find..

12/01/2025: I am ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by the service my family member got today !! We are regulars for years and that is the way they were treated today, and for it the be the owner to have that reaction towards a regular customer is an absolute disgrace. The ladies that work there are fantastic they always greet you with a smile, but safe to say because of the owner!! they will NOT be getting a thing from us after that. I’m sickened!!

22/04/2025: I had a great time at Old Reliable Irish Pub! I picked it off Google just wanting a quick pint, and I am so glad I did. It use to be a Mens only pub 20 years ago. I met the locals that were in there, they were awesome! Shout out to Con the bartender and Roy! Thanks for the great experience and conversation! - Missouri, USA near Springfield

29/07/2025: A bit of the beaten track, but a great bus service just minutes from the hotel. We stayed for three nights end of June into July, nothing too much trouble for the very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel itself was clean and well presented. A little dark in places, especially the bedroom corridors, which could do with brightening up, some areas were a little tired looking. Our bedroom was comfortable and had all we needed. Overall a nice hotel.
27/07/2025: Service was very bad, only one barman on. Ordered food & drink together, but it was at least 15 minutes before we got our drinks & 20 minutes for food. Went to Michael McIntyre in the Marquee same barman on when we came back. With a long que waiting to be served. Rooms are very good with a lovely view. The shower is broken. My husband had a very hot shower & I had a cold one 😩

25/05/2025: Love their iced whipped lattes but the place is always so loud with the music and coffee machines so you have to shout your order and hope that they get it right.

Staff makes you feel welcome and the atmosphere is naturally vibrant. I will definitely visit again.
20/05/2025: Good restaurant. The pizza was really good. The base is very thin and crispy, reminiscent of tarte flambée. The staff was super friendly! I highly recommend it.

06/06/2025: I went in for a coffee and was asked if I wanted chocolate on top, I said no. I was given a coffee with chocolate on top (can't have this due to being coeliac, re cross contamination). I apologised and said I asked for no chocolate. The blonde-haired woman who made the coffee snatched it up and dumped it with a really bad attitude. The server and her couldn't seem to remember between them what I'd asked for. Avoid if you're looking for welcoming, friendly staff who get orders correct.

28/06/2025: I have been travelling Ireland for a month now. Stopped there for a coffee. The staff is the less friendly I have encountered in the whole Ireland, the tables outside were dirty and still had the coffee from previous people. No wifi for guests (people sometimes go to coffee shops to work). Positive aspect is that the coffee was great and the little sweet I bought too.
07/06/2025: Second time coming year, first time I was served by a lovely woman and this time the staff member was a lovely guy called Jamie! Coffee is great, food is great and the price is very fair!

14/04/2025: Starbucks came to Cork to stay and came at the right time, bringing added value to Cork City. These multinationals are spread all over the world, this is very positive for Cork. Anyone can open a Starbucks, they just have to pay the franchise fee, and then the sky's the limit. Whoever acquires a Starbucks franchise has a great advantage: it has a well-known name, has been in the market for many years, doesn't have to prove anything in terms of quality, and it's almost like having half a house already built.

22/08/2025: Have a very bad experience after ordering a chicken burrito from this place through Deliveroo on the 20.8 around noon. Within a few hours, I started feeling extremely bloated and unwell, and soon after I developed severe diarrhea that has continued for two days now. I have been feeling very weak and unable to eat properly two days in a row now.
I noticed that another customer mentioned that they and three of their friends also suffered food poisoning here, which makes me strongly believe that this was the source of my illness as well.
This has been one of the worst food-related experiences I’ve ever had, and I would advise others to be very cautious. I'm burritos and blues customer for the 10 years.
19/08/2025: Myself and two friends ate in the Marina Market stall and all 3 of us ended up with a pretty severe stomach illness . All ate different meals but had the same meat option, and woke up with what felt like the symptoms of food poisoning in the middle of the night. Dissapointed with the owners response as I reached out and assisted in letting them know all details of the visit.

09/08/2025: Lots of space outside which is nice on sunny games or game days. Prices are a bit expensive though.
29/07/2025: Huge reastraunt/bar. Maybe the biggest in Cork. Huge outdoor dinning area with giant t.v. was here during the 2025 hurling championship and this place had an awesome atmosphere! Came back the next day and things do settle down to a quieter family friendly environment.
