The best restaurants in Cork

04/09/2025: Went for lunch today €13.90 for a drink and mains , omg the mains was actually a child’s portion, tiny bit of rice very small amount of chips and small bowl of curry , won’t be going again , a good way of losing customers.

31/08/2025: The food did not match the succulent pictures in the dog-eared and sticky menu. We were the only ones in the restaurant which should have made us turn on our heels. The prawns were barely discernible and the duck was dry (shredded) and the skin limp, not crispy and not as depicted in the menu (succulent duck leg with glistening crispy skin). The service was with a forced fletching smile eager to get us out before closing time at ten PM.

18/02/2025: College bar, good prices, plenty of seating. Didn't eat there so I can't rate the food

21/09/2025: The best fresh bread in town. They their vegan soda bread and vegan pastries. Lovely staff. You can also get a bread with vinegar and oil tasting.

15/09/2025: We ordered take away few days ago and it was delicious, my wife got vegetarian chicken cow main and I got black bean chicken. Food was great, delivery less than 30min. Will order again for sure

27/09/2025: First time trying Camile in Bishopstown and I wasn’t disappointed. Food as in all branches I have eaten was delicious! Will be back soon

17/09/2025: Nice book store. But I expected a little better of a selection than what they had for a bookstore a big and centrally located. I know the bookstore business can be tough, but I expected a little more than this. We were even looking for a specific book that was listed as available on their website. The staff were kind enough to look it up, but once they found that they didn't have it in stock they just stopped. They didn't offer to order it in or explain how we could order it on the website. Nothing. Just "no we don't have it." So that was also a little disappointing on the customer service front.

12/10/2025: Absolutely excellent. I've being in a lot of KFCs and this one was by far the best I've being in. The food was excellent and not the usual greasy experience I've had in others and the portion of chips was far more than other kfc franchises. It was spotless clean Excellent toilets Excellent staff

18/06/2025: I was genuinely shocked by what I witnessed at Gym Plus Cork in Mahon Point during my recent visit. A female member was working out in what was essentially a bikini bra and shorts so short and see-through that her private areas were clearly visible as she walked around and during squats. This level of exposure is completely inappropriate for any public gym, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere for others, myself included. Even more disturbing was the fact that there were adolescents present at the time. In my view, this goes beyond poor judgement — it amounts to public indecency, and I believe the Gardaí should be made aware. Gym Plus urgently needs to enforce a clear and reasonable dress code to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members, including families and young people. This kind of negligence is unacceptable.

31/03/2025: I wasn't very happy because when I ordered I paid extra for meat.I got two corners of prons for €4 I will never go to you, they are robbing you of your food. I'm not alone, my friend, you want to complain about not enough meat?

08/06/2025: Classic local pub in a quiet neighborhood. We visited during the hurling match and had a great time with our fellow patrons. Ursula and her staff made us feel welcome and gave us a history lesson about the pub and area. Thank you for a great time.

05/10/2025: A very good pub, very well-known here in Cork. The day begins in the morning, serving coffee, breakfast, and brunch, serving food practically every day. It's a huge pub with plenty of seats and high-quality food, with a large terrace, which is where I usually go when it's sunny. The service and staff are all good. During the day, when night falls, the frisky whiskey transforms into live music at night, sometimes with DJs. Like on Saturday nights, the house is full again. A very good atmosphere, middle-aged, where everyone enjoys a good time relaxing. I highly recommend it here; you're welcomed and everything is very good.

23/08/2025: Super nice service, very attentive, and truly friendly. Delicious coffee and a great iced matcha strawberry! They also serve oat milk, and you can sit outside.

12/08/2025: Very good coffee and breakfast. I had the DUKES breakfast. Lovely staff too. Definetly recommend this place.
