The best restaurants in Cork

10/04/2025: The place was clean and the girl behind the bar gave excellent service being able to serve everyone very fast and at the same time, she also knew how to work the customers having all at the bar chatting to her and each other as if it was a big meet up of all old friends. Great night out and would highly recommend.

12/01/2025: I am ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by the service my family member got today !! We are regulars for years and that is the way they were treated today, and for it the be the owner to have that reaction towards a regular customer is an absolute disgrace. The ladies that work there are fantastic they always greet you with a smile, but safe to say because of the owner!! they will NOT be getting a thing from us after that. I’m sickened!!

08/04/2025: We stopped in here to get outside of the city center to grab a pint. Enjoyed the low key local vibe. Walked out with a list of recommendations of things to do around Cork thanks to the bartender!

29/12/2024: Exceptional service the drinks are very reasonable priced. We visited over Christmas for a party and I’ll definitely recommend and I’ll return next year. The stout here is pretty good I say it’s the pipes are well used. A typical Irish pub with great staff and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Perfect place to meet with friends maybe even a game of cards

27/04/2025: This was a nice enough place which has a big outdoor area if that is what you want. We didn’t as it was cold but they had enough chairs inside and it is one of the only places round that was open late enough after the pubs were closing you wanted a couple more drinks. We went here a couple of times once was really not busy at all but may have been earlier in the evening and then one was very busy and honestly bit nicer as you could enjoy the atmosphere. Overall if your looking for somewhere to carry on after the pubs have all closed at 11 then it’s grand

26/04/2025: Been here maybe a dozen times in the last 10 years so certainly not a regular. But this evening I was denied entry at the door. The official reason given was that I had “had enough already.” This definitely wasn’t the real reason though. I don’t drink at all! I was dressed in much the same way as some of the other people walking right on in. So I was a bit perplexed. Being in my early 50s, I wondered if it might be ageism. But reading through some other reviews below it seems the door staff have a long list of red flags, including not liking lone males. I don’t want anything to do with places like this and won’t be back. But if you like being at the mercy of an opaque door policy, this might be the perfect spot for you.

18/04/2025: El servicio al cliente no es bueno. Había una chica alta en la caja. Ella se quedó allí con la cara recta sin siquiera molestarse en sonreír un poco. . La comida estaba bien, pero servida de nuevo sin ninguna palabra. No es un buen ambiente. No se molestará en volver.

15/05/2025: Very disappointed on our recent visit. Was in local hospital for 3 hrs looking foward to a nice meal. Ordered perri perri chicken burger. Came out i could hardly cut it. Its was actually reheated. Told the waiter and this is were i got more aggrieved. He actually said sorry but then came out and said. I might say it to the chef depending on his form. Left after 7 mins no response or nothing. Very disappointed

11/05/2025: Service was terrible on entry we were just pointed to a table rather then walked down, staff were unpleasant, steak was only thing to rate this place on, carbonara was microwaved and chicken was bland no flavour, Would give zero stars if it was possible.
