01/10/2024: I got a salad burger and small chips, cheese and curry. Burger was delicious and my portion of chips was quite large, only downside was hardly any curry

16/11/2024: Last time we ordered 4 sets of chicken for the family. We had many guests. Each should have 4 potatoes, but we only got 8 or 9 servings. It was very disappointing that half of the food was not served to us.

14/11/2024: Clean premises, fast service, very helpful staff, plenty of seating, a bit pricey, food portions are small and very salty.

29/10/2024: We were served by antoinette in the gallery restaurant. She was fun, polite and friendly. Great to have such fab service!

12/10/2024: Scam artists. I placed an order for €65.90 online this evening. Initially, the delivery charge was €4. However, as I'm staying in Fota resort, the delivery charge recalculated to €9.80 after I entered my address. I proceeded to order, and payment was taken from my bank. A few minutes later, I received a text message telling me that my order was rejected and that I should call the restaurant for more information. They informed me that I'm outside the delivery radius- despite having paid the increased charge. Also- I will have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. The manager, Ben, called me back over an hour later and was very unsympathetic with my position. If my order is to be rejected because of my address, this should happen prior to payment being processed. A complete scam. Beware if ordering online from them.

08/06/2024: Could be a bit more generous with the crepe toppings! Had a bit of a scavenger hunt to find them.

04/11/2024: This is the best place I have been to by far. Service is fast and efficient and food was lovely and out fast to us. 5 starts from me !

14/08/2024: We had a fantastic meal at Coconut, recommended by our hotel receptionist. I had the chicken gyoza and oyster broccoli, both fresh and delicious. My husband loved the chicken sweetcorn soup and chicken balls with sweet chili sauce. Our 4-year-old son enjoyed the chicken fried noodles. The food was excellent, and the service was great. We really enjoyed our visit!

10/11/2024: The place has many activities, it is a little confusing at first but the truth is to go early and stay until they close 👌

14/11/2024: used to be a nice place to go or even just grab a coffee for takeaway but there was a really rude staff member when I last visited. As someone who also works in hospitality I understand frustration with customers however I just felt really disheartened and am not going back if I can help it

27/10/2024: I'm embarrassed to have arranged a family get together. The service was practically non existent. Food was over priced and so bad. Smallest chicken wings I've even been served. Prawns noodle was so poor. Chicken Kiev same. I ate here a few years ago and it was lovely. What has happened? Don't go here. Super disappointing.

21/10/2024: I found myself spending most of my time for 3 weeks watching my Dad die at the hospital across the road while being put up at the Bru Columbanus charitable hotel. We were on a weekend break in Kerry when he had a stroke. This pub is inbetween CUH and Bru. For the first couple of nights I called around 10pm, still crying, for a couple of pints. The bar manager Paul didn't ask any questions, just served me politely and let me be, just as I needed. On the 3rd night he politely asked about my situation and over the next fortnight he asked every night about my Dad and engaged me in conversation that took my mind away from the awful situation I was in. A lovely man and top Bar manager. Slainte Paul.
