13/10/2024: It is trange we came at 16:28 to eat their grate soup, but their staff lady sad that it is only take away service👀, but there are was a lot of other people sitting and having food inside, free places was too. Very strange why they didn’t want see us as clients inside 🤷‍♀️

08/04/2025: A man named Josh served me, the nicest pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Such a pleasure of a man, had a great conversation with him and made me feel very welcome inside of the shop. Will 10/10 be coming back!

13/05/2025: I’m a little cafe with some tables outside and enjoying the sun is wonderful. Internet cafe and coffee house in the heart of Cork city. Open seven days a week Mon to Sat 8am to 11pm / Sunday 9am to 11pm for take away, Very good atmosphere, Portuguese style coffee.

18/04/2025: Great spot!!! Food was outstanding!!Shepards pie was one of the Best I’ve tasted in the UK….. came with a basket of fries and Asian esq Cole slaw…. Very Delicious. Roasted Turkey breast was Yummy as well. Clean restaurant, nice decor and good vibes, our servers were Great!! Highly recommended

08/05/2025: I have to say I enjoy the coffee quality but I feel the staff don’t interact in a friendly manner with you unless you become a regular, noticed this a few times 🥲

05/05/2025: I visited the café this morning (04/05) and had a disappointing experience with the customer service. When my friend asked if they had almond milk, the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes. Then, when I asked for a regular latte, she glared at me. That kind of attitude really doesn’t belong in customer service

02/06/2025: Hotel to be fair is absolutely spotless and the reception staff are lovely. Waiting staff were under trained and clue less really. Had paid for dinner bed and breakfast never once got to see a desert menu both nights after asking several times. Plates and glasses were left on our table all night. Would understand this wholeheartedly if the hotel was busy and understaffed as ive worked in this industry before so i know what it can be like but it wasnt busy atal atal. I know your close to the city but on a bank holiday weekend some in house entertainment wouldnt go a miss either if your not feeling the crowds of the city. Paid 710 for two nights and to be honest it wasnt worth 450 what we got was absolutely gutted given i could of chosen several other options throughout cork that ive been to before and were still working out cheaper but said id try here felt robbed by the end of it to be honest. Absolute shame to be writing a review like this when the hotel has so much potential and could do so much better. On the bright side the young bar man hats off to ya your brilliant and such a laugh👌 Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this hotel as it stands right now but thanks for having us.

30/05/2025: Staff at Clayton Hotel Sliver Spings were warm welcoming and very attentive. Made the stay enjoyable. Olivia at breakfast was really kind and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were a little tired but clean, thank goodness for a fan in the room as there was no Air Conditioning. Need to be aware of all the steps outside the hotel and it does not appear to have a ramp from car park to reception. Overall, a pleasant stay.

15/04/2025: Go occassionally for their Italian hot chocolate which is really good. Went for breakfast bap (microwaved) and mineral yesterday morning and told it came to e9.00 (on menu inc recycling would be e8.94) so handed e10 to lady on till. I was going to put the e1.oo change in tip jar until I realised she wasn't going to give me any change! I stood waiting until till was reopened and I put it in my pocket so just be mindful if you go there. First time this has happened there as probably this employee as hadn't seen her before.

18/02/2025: Great place to print and have a coffee. Staff are very helpful. Colette in particular is very warm, friendly and has a great sense of humour 😄

02/05/2025: Called in late at night for food, absolutely lovely hot chips and nuggets, wonderful staff and great experience. Went back for pancakes in the morning. Best McDonalds I've been to. Well done 🙌

26/04/2025: A comfortable relaxed venue with nice couches and seating. You could work in comfort on your laptop with a hot cup of coffee.

29/04/2025: Normalmente no sería uno para una queja, pero con respecto a mi experiencia reciente en peri peri Blackpool siento que no tengo otra opción que publicar una para la seguridad pública. Pedí una hamburguesa el sábado y mordí un trozo duro identificado más tarde como un trozo de hueso que resulta en un diente roto y la necesidad de atención dental definida. Después de reportar el incidente el sábado, me dijeron que me contactarían el lunes, lo que no sucedió a pesar de mis llamadas al restaurante, tuve que hacer un seguimiento el martes (hoy), lo que fue decepcionante e inaceptable dada la naturaleza del incidente. Cuando visité el restaurante en persona para discutir el asunto, me encontré con un comportamiento poco profesional y agresivo por parte del propietario que las chicas encantadoras en el mostrador que estaban claramente avergonzadas tanto para mí actuando como un lunático debido a la vergüenza de tener que entrar y los propietarios clara falta de preocupación tuvieron que llamar ya que se negó a llegar a una resolución el sábado cuando ocurrió el incidente. En lugar de ofrecer una disculpa sincera y una resolución razonable, intentó minimizar la gravedad del incidente insistiendo en que solo podría haber sido cartílago, no un hueso a pesar del hecho de que me causó un daño dental significativo y dolor a mí. Otras personas presenciaron este evento y escucharon el crujir de mi diente y tuvieron pruebas fotográficas que le proporcionaron directamente de dicho hueso. Para mi incredulidad, se negó a emitir un reembolso por la comida, intentó transferir la responsabilidad a la empresa de entregas, al chef y a cualquier otra persona a la que pudiera culpar. Luego incluso amenazó con llamarme a la Gardaí por plantear mi queja en persona. Este comportamiento fue totalmente inapropiado y me ha dejado conmocionado y molesto.
