25/08/2026: Popped in for a bit of lunch. There was a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, and other stuff in breads available. There is also a selection of sweet treats as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. I got a chicken tika wrap and a caramel square, and my wife got a tuna sandwich. The price came to around €22 which considering the size of the items and tiny side salads on the plates, was steep. The food tasted ok, but I would say not worth the price. Overall, I can't say I would be back again.

19/05/2026: We were in Cork for just two nights and discovered this bar on our first night and we are glad we did. The owner, Barry I believe his name is has a very friendly tone and was very talkative and friendly to us. The bar has a strong following among locals all of which are very kind. Coming from the USA we felt very welcomed and the Murphys & Beamish was great as well. It’s definitely a place I can recommend.

08/02/2026: Went in there about 5.30pm on 7th February, a Saturday. I stood at the bar with my card in my hand attempting to make eye contact with one of the two men behind the bar for 15 minutes while others around and even next to me were served. I'm unsure why I was studiously ignored. In the end I left without purchasing a drink. My daughter had been collecting our bags from the car which was in Carrols Quay car park, she had suggested I have a drink and a sit down while she did this, and she couldn't quite believe it when she came in and witnessed this behaviour.

11/07/2026: Got a smoothie here and waited quite awhile , one was started and then it just just sitting there. When mine was finally ready it was just awful not cold and was more like a milkshake way too much frozen yoghurt no taste of fruit off it i will make a better one myself won’t be back

26/06/2026: We had a lovely meal but I would steer clear of the Pil Pil dish. €18 and we got 5 prawns. This was also supposed to be a sharing dish so we made sure we enjoyed our 2.5 prawns each!

19/06/2026: Fantastic restaurant and Bar. Live music and the atmosphere is vibrant. Definitely worth visiting!

15/05/2026: Best night club in Cork. Without a doubt. It's very diverse, there's something for everyone. Even coming to Nudes during the day to read a book is fabulous. The space is beautiful and I always feel welcome and safe. I prefer coming to heavy gigs and EDM. This is the place to be for underground music. Thank you for caring and keeping the scene alive. And my favourite part: this room has the best sound in the city. I kid you not!!! Keep going strong! 🤘

25/08/2026: Great bar fantastic down to earth staff. Great place to go for a pint on your own or with friends.its more popular than ever.

05/07/2026: Perfect spot for a Canadian husband and father of 3 young children sleeping in the hotel nearby to have 2 pints and catch an hour of authentic Irish live music. No food service but I'm pretty sure that's just the style of pub. I enjoyed the Stag IPA that the bartender recommended for a local IPA.

11/09/2026: Really tasty food, great portions, and excellent service. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/09/2026: This place was a complete letdown. 👎 The food quality was abysmal, practically inedible. 🤢 Service was nonexistent and rude, with staff showing zero interest. 😤 The atmosphere felt dismal and unwelcoming. Definitely avoiding this place in the future. 👎

01/06/2026: The Ashly Monster Hotel is a perfect relation between price and quality. The room is confortable, the shower is very good, the service is excellent and the people work there are magics!. With a strategic location, the hotel is very near to the main points you need to know in the wonderful Cork. Thank you very much Ashley Hotel and your team for your kind atention! Un gran abrazo ...

05/04/2026: Beautiful surroundings but was very annoyed to realise I had spent €26 on 2 margarita cocktails only to realise they were a premade shop bought mix and not made fresh at the bar. I can buy the same bottle myself for 20 euro. Complete rip off and deception to your clientele

08/03/2026: This is a very comfortable bar just off the lobby, with further overflow seating adjacent. On the very negative side, Bar staff are not friendly or welcoming. I've never once heard any of them say Hello, Thank You. Never a smile. This is probably a top-down problem and their attitude screams "hate my job". Better staff in the lobby work hard to balance their colleagues inhospitable attitude, but it's disappointing. We only use the bar when other bars on McCurtain Street are full.

08/09/2026: Worst McDonald's I've ever visited , hands down! There seems to be an issue every time . This time , I gave an order 3 times at the drive thru . The girl could not understand through the intercom so I drove to the window , repeated my order and she still got it wrong . Why would you put a person that can't understand orders in English on an order window !! I'll drive to other branches in future

15/08/2026: Thanks McDonalds for putting wrap of the day behind the horrible app. Also under impression chicken selects are becoming more like a batter selects. Seems like some cover cost savings are going on instead of raising prices... 🤔

26/09/2025: We loved to go to Dashi and it was our go-to takeaway in COVID times. I ordered for collection on a Thursday evening at 7pm, half of the sushi options were gone and the curry and udon noodle dishes (or at least parts thereof) were heated in a microwave, and it still took them 25 minutes to put the order together. The dishes lacked veggies and where mediocre at best, and I couldn't finish the seaweed salad. Very disappointed.

18/09/2025: Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included. They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had😟 Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked👀
