The best restaurants in Cork

26/01/2026: I have to say, I am very disappointed before I got food from There and was good about the Year ago tonight I collected food from there and I swear to God dog food taste better than that burger disgusting had Bite gave the rest to my dog. My dog didn’t finish it beef people stay away from it wasting money and time.

20/01/2026: It was a horrible experience over all the staff are rude and me and my friends were very disappointed as we normally love their food but the service was horrible they were dead quiet so they can’t even use the excuse of being busy and stressed but when I ordered my food me and a friend of mine asked for the food to be plain but when we received the food it was not plain and we simply just asked to get it plain as that’s what we asked for then the server rudely replied with saying we never asked for it plain then when we were receiving the food we were met with dirty looks and it was continuious through out our meal with having the staff members obviously give out to eachother about us even tho we asked for everything politely. I am very disappointed about this as I usually am quite fond of the food.

26/09/2025: New Great Wall is our favorite Chinese take-away. The delivery people, first of all, are always so sincerely friendly and it's so clear they're not expecting a tip to the point of reluctance. Absolutely classy people. The food is always piping hot, even if it's delivered. I've let it sit for 10-15 minutes before I could get to it and the chips are still toasty. They're really on the ball. And the food is the best version of your classic European-style Chinese takeaway. If you like their version of things, and we do, you can't go wrong with their consistency, professionalism, friendliness and welcoming personalities. We never have a bad expeirence with New Great Wall.

20/07/2025: Ordered on just eat as a delivery Had to pay €1 extra because of incorrect display delivery fee Extremely salty to the point it’s not edibles ( would be nice if I did not have to pay the €1 extra and if they ease up on the salt )

21/06/2025: Came in for a drink tonight and was met with arrogance from barmaid she was not polite to us but was very friendly to her regulars

17/09/2025: Called in at 7.30am for a coffee. The staff are so friendly even though it was so early.. the coffee was great 👍

21/07/2025: Nice Starbucks, but there is a smell of stale milk when you come in. Staff can be a little distracted and not notice you’re there and a bit slow. The toilets could do with a clean also.

02/01/2026: Lovely place for a group dinner/lunch or outings. The food was nice, music is a bit loud for my taste, but I know everyone is different. We had a lovely Christmas party there. Recommended.

04/12/2025: A very overpriced bar, the draught beer is exceedingly expensive and not great quality. It is hard to get a bad pint of stout these days, however the courtyard consistently manages to. Food is expensive and nothing special.

19/09/2025: Clean, prompt, good vibe, easy interaction. I'm a fusspot who always makes my own breakfast, and the lady was 100% there for that and everything came out perfectly. Great place for a nice traditional breakfast, 100% happy with the experience.

05/09/2025: A true Irish pub, this one can say is 100% Irish. Irish food is served here, and of course, a full Irish breakfast. I can tell you, after a full Irish breakfast, you don't need food for the rest of the day, but it all depends on how much money you intend to spend. Birthday parties are held here; the pub is huge, so you can do whatever you want.

15/11/2025: We will definitely eat here again to try more of their dishes. Really tasty & reasonably priced. Portions are pretty spot on too. Server was lovely and helpful as we’d not been there before.

04/02/2026: OMG, I ordered two burritos on Deliveroo and had to come here to leave feedback! I’ve been trying different burritos around town, and this one is by far the best in terms of quality, taste, and how well it’s put together. Perfect layers of ingredients, with an amazing balance of flavors. Even the packaging was the best I’ve seen in Cork — well done, guys! I’ll definitely visit in person soon.

11/09/2025: The room was large, the beds comfortable, but the ceiling is peeling, there is mold above the shower and several areas of the floor where we felt like we were going to fall through. The staff were very welcoming, they stored our luggage for the day. There is a bar on the ground floor but we were not bothered by the noise at all. The hotel is located directly opposite the train station, with the city bus and city tour bus stop right outside the door.

20/07/2025: LO MEJOR. La pizza era increíble y el personal era tan agradable. Entramos para un pedido en persona y de alguna manera me las arreglé para perder un piercing mío. El personal lo encontró para mí y fue tan amable la noche. No podíamos habernos sentido más cómodos y la piazza estaba deliciosa. Lo revisaremos.

11/10/2025: there is one guy that works there and holds the whole place up. He's been there for a long time now and I've seen him be the only consistent face there in the last three years. he is absolutely lovely and can't do enough for you , that's only reason you get a second star. for him alone. unfortunately , He wasn't there today when I went instead two employees with their back turned to me completely ignoring me when I asked for something for my order it was a no no sorry we don't have it and no didn't bother to look just NO! I love my other Starbucks this one is trash. the rude guy there today ... just NO

24/07/2025: I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the staff was a major letdown. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was bothering them. The front desk staff (Martha) seemed uninterested and gave off the vibe that they'd rather be anywhere else. Throughout my stay, I encountered similar attitudes from other staff members. Requests were met with delays, and it felt like pulling teeth to get any kind of assistance. It's a shame because the hotel itself had potential, but the poor service really dragged down the whole experience. I won't be returning, and I'd advise others to consider other options where the staff actually cares about their guests. We had tried to complain to the manager Joe about the attitude of his staff, he told us “customers like you are not worth being customers”.
