21/09/2025: Very unwelcoming staff. Food was sad and miserable. My pork roast was completely dried out, the rest of the food wasn't much better.

27/08/2025: Ate lunch here before flying out of Cork airport. We both ordered burgers. I noticed how quickly they came out and how fast other tables got their food too. I worked in hotels myself for years and that is not necessarily a good sign. The burgers themselves were ok but they seemed somewhat ready made. We both had upset stomachs by the evening time. I do not recommend. The staff and service were excellent. I can’t give more than 1 star because of the food issue.

09/12/2025: Not good, bought a few stuffs there, didn’t check the expiration date, some of the items are much more expensive than the other Asian shops. Kimchi package bloated when I arrived home, then I checked the expiration date, it has expired for two days. Then I checked all the stuff I bought, one of the sauces I bought has been expired for three months.

06/12/2025: The Junction CX Oriental pretty much has everything you could want from an Asian supermarket. They stock all the big names — 辛拉面, 李锦记, 旺旺, Yeo’s, 老干妈, even popular brand of candy Sweetking. There’s also a huge range of dumplings and 包子 in all sorts of flavours, plus loads of fresh fruit, veg, meat and seafood. If you’re after a proper one-stop shop for Asian ingredients, this place is honestly your best bet. I pop in most weeks, and in winter especially — they’ve got everything you need for a super delicious hotpot.

07/03/2026: Some ridiculous way they treat customers here 19:30 Just got off a 4 1/2 hour bus and went to McDonald's to order a meal and use the bathroom,ordered my food and went to the bathroom, 30 seconds there had.just down and the security guard was banging on the door saying "was alright" "get out now" and "bathroom only for customers" showed him my receipt then he says I have to leave asked him why said "just following orders" gets them to rush my food out don't even think it was cooked properly and couldn't even sit down and eat the food I paid for

11/09/2025: The room was large, the beds comfortable, but the ceiling is peeling, there is mold above the shower and several areas of the floor where we felt like we were going to fall through. The staff were very welcoming, they stored our luggage for the day. There is a bar on the ground floor but we were not bothered by the noise at all. The hotel is located directly opposite the train station, with the city bus and city tour bus stop right outside the door.

07/09/2025: I’ve been to Golden Bites today, the new shop on Washington Street, with my young son. We were warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and aesthetically nice. However, I do have some concerns. When placing my order, I made it very clear that my cappuccino should be made with oat milk (for health reasons I cannot consume dairy). Unfortunately, I received a cappuccino with regular milk. I didn’t complain at the time because I’m not the type of person who likes to create conflict at an establishment, but I mentioned twice at the counter that it should be with oat milk. Another point: I’m not sure if I was charged for two portions of grilled buttered bread since I received four slices, but I only ordered one portion, which I believe should be two slices. I also wasn’t given a receipt, so I couldn’t verify the charge. Once again, the environment is very pleasant, and the staff was kind and attentive. However, we have already experienced issues with delivery orders in the past — missing items, wrong orders, etc. I expected that visiting in person would be different, but unfortunately, the same kind of issues happened. This makes it a little difficult to want to return. I truly hope this is just something temporary due to the new location

17/02/2026: Small portions ,they charge you more money than they show in the Menu ,you tell them and they only apologize. Quality /price is expensive

30/09/2025: I felt in China or Korea sorry I don’t know much to differentiate, I went with my girlfriend and it was amazing, very happy for the night, the food was wonderful. Impeccable service

20/12/2025: Absolutely disaster food.. regret why i ordered from here ..low standard food .. don’t understand english .. Ordered paneer tikka and they sent red sweet liquid curry .. bad taste

15/03/2026: Perfect location, nice staff and good service. The hotel and the rooms are old, but clean. I stayed in room number 1. It would be ok, but... Installing sharp, sticking out for about 10cm light switch just above your head is ridiculous. After hitting my head that switch two times, I wrapped it with my clean socks and sleeve of my hoodie. What is more, paying over €150 for one night stand for this kind of standard is another ridiculous thing.

08/12/2025: Lovely stay, staff was super! I think that this is good value for money and hotel is located very centrally. Situated next to the road but didn’t hear anything using earplugs. Rooms are small and dated but the staff was super and room was very clean and comfortable. Car park is very tiny and it took me good 10 minutes to get out in the morning.

07/04/2026: I went in this afternoon and the girls working behind the counter were absolutely amazing. The manager appeared to be training a staff member and came across as very friendly, couldn’t fault the services and my BMT was unreal, would recommend.

20/02/2026: Id wanted a footlong half chicken half ham plain with absolutely nothing else done, the man who did part one was friendly and nice understanding its for a child. The lady who did part 2 was not nice, was unfriendly was waving her hand shaking her head at what was apparent she thought riduculous request. Tells me i will be paying for 2 seperate 6inches. She proceeds to toast it, after id specified it was meant to be cold. Sold me orange juice and gave me sugar free oasis. A complete waste of time and money!

27/03/2026: Visited this place for quick lunch. I ordered chicken Kiev. Absolutely disgusting 🤮 . Chicken cooked few days ago, Instead of garlic butter I've got a cheap spread/ margarine. I ate only a bite. My husband ordered chicken curry. Rice overcooked. Curry cheap from powder. Two small pieces of chicken. Not recommended. Very poor quality of food

28/02/2026: Honestly, after reading the reviews for this place, I thought I'd just sit down for a few minutes while I waited for my partner. I ordered a hot chocolate, the worst I've ever had. Terrible customer service. I put money in the tips, said goodbye and thank you... the girl turned her back on me and didn't even answer. I didn't like it at all. I work in a cafe, and being nice to people doesn't cost anything.

24/10/2025: Me and my partner had dinner here on the first night of our stay at the hotel and we were very impressed with the quality of food and the impeccable service from our waiter Jiyan. Will definitely be dining here again. The only thing I would criticise would be that it was a little cold so I had to grab a jumper from the hotel room and I even spotted a women on the table next to us wearing a coat!

17/10/2025: One of our favorite breakfast is at the four hotels we were at. Especially for a vegan which can be limited in the free breakfast in hotels around town, but they had a really good tofu scramble on toast.
