17/08/2025: I normally get banana bread and it’s been so nice. However they didn’t have any today and I got a croissant. This croissant tasted stale and as though it’s been left out in the air for so long. I told the staffs who insisted they got it fresh every morning and offered no exchange or refund.
Had to bin it in the store as I could barely gulp it in or manage it.
I’ve been a customer so I hope this is taken as a constructive criticism.
For credibility purposes, not only am I a Fresh food manager but I’ve been a food safety auditor.
Thanks.

04/07/2025: I bought some delicious rye bread that my wife and I enjoyed for breakfast.
30/05/2025: Lovely bread, great selection. Some of the staff (owner in particular) are quite rude and condescending, they are a little unwilling to help especially if you're looking for a recommendation for a certain type of bread. They need to work on this more, hope our lovely tourists aren't met with such unfriendly service as it's very at odds with lots of three other lovely friendly sellers

23/04/2025: Very well known pub, I have been a few times for a couple pints of Murphy’s and I was delighted myself, is a pub with his own loyal customers and every week with live music I always remember this pub here in cork and looks like is a pub to be here for many years to come I hope so.

07/08/2025: As an "out-of-towner", I was looking for a place for my family and I to have a nice, affordable dinner. So I went into a pub!
The place is dimly lit with an awesome retro vibe. And the food? It was incredible! Delicious salad, delicious wings, and a very handy kids meal. They even have a song bingo game on Thursdays. I wouldn't change a thing
100% recommend for any occasion.

03/08/2025: Excellent carvery and friendly chef. Turkey with stuffing & Beef rib with yorkshire pudding exceptional. Pavlova was disappointing (due to addition of fruit salad…), lacked any meringue crunchy bits (just soft meringue which has lovely texture).

08/06/2025: Classic local pub in a quiet neighborhood. We visited during the hurling match and had a great time with our fellow patrons. Ursula and her staff made us feel welcome and gave us a history lesson about the pub and area. Thank you for a great time.

10/08/2025: I went to the restaurant at Marina Market and had a terrible experience. Terrible customer service. The waiter seemed impatient and hostile, and he was angry. The food was good, but I'll still never go back.
09/08/2025: I love coming here with friends for tea and shisha. Ali is always friendly and helpful, and the cheese kunafa is absolutely delicious. Perfect place for hangout and a catch up!

20/07/2025: I ordered the "kebab box" from this establishment and got a small box mostly filled with chips. I returned to the shop to tell them I didn't order chips and that chips were not in the description of the "kebab box" only to be told that of course chips are included in the kebab box. Doesn't seem logical to me, would avoid.
24/05/2025: The pepperoni pizza was of really good quality. As the pizza sauce had a nice, smoky flavour, which I liked. They weren't mean with the toppings, as there was plenty of cheese and pepperoni on my 10 inch pizza. The pizza was delivered on time and the two ladies delivering also were really kind, as they were smiling, which means that they have good service. I gave 0 starts for the atmosphere, as I got delivery and I haven't actually been to the restaurant, which will be unfair to rate it, so I just left it at 0 stars.
