29/03/2025: Great little restaurant, wonderful staff and decent food (popped in for an eggs benny and coffee to get out of the rain, not disappointed)

18/02/2025: The best Chinese take away in Cork. Really good Chinese take away, food always arrives piping hot and they used good meat in their dishes. Curry , satay and Kung Pao chicken have been great. Really nice family run business.

15/01/2025: It was a cafe shop I came to because its view, atmosphere and staff were perfect and in the past maybe I bring more than 10 people here, but today I came with my cousin at 11:45, the blonde tall lady, took the wrong order but when we told her it was wrong, she changed the wrong order with a bad expression but her attitude was very bad. I have never experienced such bad attitude, she delivered the coffee she changed by placing the order roughly on the counter, she did not even look at our faces and did not answer even though we thanked her without paying attention to her sullen face. I do not know what the reason was, our English accent or she was having bad morning but still this is unacceptable.

31/10/2024: Great little cafe to stop for a morning coffee or quick breakfast. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable.

26/11/2024: Nicest Chinese on the south side of cork, we get this nearly every week no other takeaway in our house does the job. The delivery always comes sooner then they say on the phone There food was always good but I think there was a period of time when they got a different chef and it wasn’t great but now it’s better again

30/03/2025: Had a great experience here. Was told it would be a 20-minute wait going in, and it ended up being about 5. You do your own ordering which has some advantages and disadvantages but overall the food was great and the staff was friendly!

27/02/2025: Stopped in here on a recommendation for a light lunch on Saturday after a heavy night Friday and it was just what the doctor ordered. Quite a few good options, all of our group had something different and all enjoyed it. I had the leek and potato soup and it was delicious. Would recommend.

18/02/2025: El peor servicio, en el mejor de los casos tiene comida mediocre - normalmente no iría allí, pero era conveniente para la persona que estaba conociendo. Fue la confirmación absoluta de por qué no voy allí - puedo superar la comida siendo pobre, pero cuando el servicio te hace sentir que eres un inconveniente, entonces eso es completamente diferente. Hay un montón de otras grandes paradas de café y tiendas en Cork - simplemente no vaya aquí.

17/03/2025: Pizza sauce is not fresh , olives had pits in it ( hard surprise on my teeth ) ended up with toothache rest of the night

03/02/2025: Coffee is not that hot from the machine. Steaming just removed the flavour. Ambience is good for a date. No variety of sweets like bean n leaf. Available sweets are okay but feel a bit pricy for the the taste/quantity/quality

07/04/2025: Popped in for an early coffee & scone with my Mum. Quiet busy place as always. Warm welcome from the team members. Excellent service. Delicious scones, butter & preserves. Pity cream is not fresh cream rather than tined cream.. Overall experience wonderful. Look for to returning they always do superb lunches & dinners too.

04/01/2025: We tried Eddie Farrels lamb shank and chicken masala, food is great. Crowded restaurant, atmosphere is ok. Porsions are above avarage. Efficient service with square porsions. I will visit again.

02/03/2025: Just very disappointing. Food is totally bland and very overpriced, staff seem embarrassed to be serving it. Having once been a very sought-after reservation in Cork, I can't believe that anyone now would come here more than once - and then only out of curiosity. €100 gone rapidly on basic student food; didn't stay around to check out desserts, we were happy to leave after 45 minutes.

23/01/2025: We ate here for a special occasion recently and didn't feel it was good value, really, or even very nice food. We had 3 courses, and the edamame beans we got as a starter were the only real veg we saw. I asked when ordering whether we should order veg on the side for our main course and were told no, but the plates were lacking. My main course was Kuro Curry - the black curry sauce was not very interesting but rich and drowned the entire plate so every bite tasted just like the first I was bored of it before I was half way through. The accompanying fermented bell pepper (yes, a veg!) was tiny in portion, less than a garnish, less than a forkful not enough to impart any flavour over the curry. My gubbeen smoked cheesecake was interesting but not really pleasing and not sweet enough to be described as dessert (throw a bit of ham in and it would have made a nice lunch). We ate using a gift voucher so blew the last of it on some warm saki which was nice but as others have noted, seems overpriced. All in all, expensive and disappointing.

27/12/2024: Top Bar & Food great bar and very friendly i highly recommend for family events and recommend the chicken wings highly, top class manager.
