28/08/2024: Very nice staff and a friendly place for dogs. They gave our dog a treat and he loved it. I would recommend this place if you have went on a long walk and want to sit down for a bit with a coffee.
07/08/2024: If you’re looking for a nice place in Grange for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and a cake, Ryan’s cafe is the perfect spot. It has a warm and welcoming environment with friendly staff, especially Breda who will always make time to come over and chat with you and check in to see if everything is alright. There is also a great selection of food and cakes to choose from which never disappoints (Would highly recommend the new toasted panini that is new to the menu).

24/10/2024: It's one of my all-time favourites in Cork City. Any time someone visitis me in Cork, i take them here. A good range of food, from healthy to hearty. Good portions, reasonable pricing, friendly staff and tots to die for! The smoothies are always a nice addition to the meal.
24/10/2024: Dependable and consistent for brrakfast and lunch. Great food fairly priced. Friendly and efficient staff. There can be a wait 1-2pm, especially when UCC is in session

06/11/2024: A good hotel for Ireland. Friendliness and service are very important here. The Irish breakfast was absolutely good. The service in the evening was also impeccable. Rooms were clean.

The place is so very old the room extremely dusty with a strong smell of cigarettes.
There is ZERO soundproof, you will hear your neighbours snoring!
The area is super doggy.
The service is zero staff didn't solve any of the many issues I bring to their attention and could not care less.
I didn't sleep at all night it was awful.
03/11/2024: Absolutely rubbish service! A four star hotel costing me €305! Ash in bathroom sink. Dust under bed. Holes in net curtains. Spent €45 on a meal. Went back to room and asked for room service to deliver a night cap....they refused! Disgusting service! I've paid less than €100 for better accommodation and service on Airbnb.
Thoroughly disappointed!

20/09/2024: Ordered 2 cappuccinos, coffee was bitter, service was ok. On paying there is an automatic request for a tip. We are not in the USA. Does the employer not pay them properly that they have to ask the public to cofund their wages? Much prefer Costa, nicer coffee and no tipping nonsense.
14/06/2024: Espresso was OK. Latte with oat milk almost certainly contained cow milk, witness crippling stomach cramps 20 minutes later. This is really not OK. 12:30, 27 May 24.

But last 2 visits have been such a let down
Cold food
Poor quality and unbeatable meals
Slow service
Overcharging
Poor customer service
Vegan food fit for bin and could not be eaten 2 guests on 2 desperate visits
Chicken burger at 22 euro had cold chips and 2 chicken inners
Next week went for masala and was so poor
Then where charged for desserts we did not even get
Contacted hotel 2 times in 4 days via email and did not even get a reply

21/09/2024: I haven't ordered from this Chinese since a few months ago ,but I got it today and have to say it was gorgeous the satay sauce unreal ,beef black bean with mushroom and fried noidle ,aromatic duck wraps with housin sauce also lush
10/08/2024: Such poor quality food received this evening. Chips were pale, soggy and so undercooked, inedible.
Shredded chicken starter was compacted together into one ball of food. Also undercooked and inedible.

23/10/2024: Wonderfully cozy cafe. I've been here twice now and each time it was delicious. Come for a cozy chat with the ladies, but be sure to note it's quite busy and you may wait for a table. We got the avocado toast, sharshuka and the hommous chorizo platter. Out of the three the avocado toast was my favourite.
