07/12/2025: Superb. Ambience, festive decor. Amazing team. Warmest welcomes with smiles. Beautiful setting. Incredible menu, food choice & cocktails. Family birthday celebration for my husband with his sisters down from Dublin. Busy spot always. Booking advised. All round venue for scones & Tea, breakfast, luncheon and evening meals. Classy venue.

15/02/2026: Love this cafe , very spacious and a good queuing system, great variety of cakes and sandwiches. Staff are friendly and helpful. Has ample seating outdoor s. Situated right in the heart of ballincollig shopping centre entrance.

22/03/2026: Pretty sure it's illegal to serve food and drink in a place with seating and not have any access to a toilet? Definitely illegal to not have a toilet for your staff even. Staff also seemed very young and unsupervised, and weren't practicing basic hygiene. Weren't wiping the old milk off the coffee machine steam wand at all, which if you know anything about working a coffee machine, you know is absolutely disgusting.

29/10/2025: I was very sad to see this pub go. Probably my favourite in Cork. Really wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. I hope the owners are able to open a new premises elsewhere in the near future!

09/04/2026: It was a wonderful experience—both the food and service are truly top-notch. I had a crispy chicken burger, and it was excellent: perfectly crispy on the outside with tender, juicy chicken inside. Such an awesome spot and definitely a must-visit. I’ll 100% be coming back again the next time I’m in Cork.

12/07/2026: Nice cafe to hangout if you want to take a break from all the walking in the downtown. We went for an Iced Cherry Matcha with Coconut Milk (staff favourite), an Espresso Con Panna (espresso with whipped cream) and a Grilled Cheese. Not exactly impressed with the staff favourite. Espresso Con Panna was good. Grilled Cheese was fine. The staff was nice and friendly. A good amount of seating options but can fill fast on a busy day. But surely worth visiting.

19/06/2026: The staff was very friendly anf accommodating. Our room was nice and clean. However washcloths were not provided and neither was lotion. For the price I found amenities lacking

03/06/2026: Not great. First family room we were put in did not have a functioning air conditioning unit. The tv also didn’t work correctly. The next room was better but still seemed like the quality didn’t match the price. The restaurant downstairs needs a lot of work. The food was poor and the service was even worse. Thought the 2.7 stars it was rated on google was an exaggeration but I would say it was close to 2.5. Won’t be staying again.

25/07/2026: Best coffee shop in the city, amazing quality and variety with Espresso and Filter available. Unique ambience with diverse music playing and staff who are alwaus happy to have a chat or give advice on retail coffee for home

24/07/2026: Of course they don't have V60. I ordered filter coffee and it was cold. She told me to add hot water to warm it up, haha. And her colleague was trying to convince me it was hot. Of course, right in front of me, they opened the thermos to empty the remaining coffee into the cup. And the cup looked dirty after the haphazard pouring. (Savage!)

16/03/2026: Arty's bar is the place to go in ballincollig for a great pint, great atmosphere and live music. The customers range in all ages and nationality and are always up for a chat and a laugh and are only bettered by the staff that work there. Seamus, Aiden and Deirdre give a great welcome and even better service. This is one of the few real pubs left in ballincollig that are not trying to be something else.

30/06/2026: We are regulars at Dino's and usually love coming here, but lately, our visits have been completely ruined by a guy werid young fella beard like goat He acts incredibly strange and makes everyone feel deeply uncomfortable. He constantly stares at my friend, hovers around us, and whispers creepy things under his breath. On top of that, there is a bald fella , laughs randomly at people, and just stands there staring and whispering. It has gotten to the point where we don't even feel comfortable enjoying our time here anymore. Management really needs to step in and address this behavior. We love this place, but we can't keep coming back if we have to deal with this harassment every time.

21/06/2026: This is one of the hidden gems in Cork. It was a place that I was recommended by a friend. I had never heard of the place. When I went it has a chill atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. A must visit for a nice glass of vino.

13/04/2026: Very sad that this cafe has now closed down. Breakfast here is excellent quality and value. Very good quality food and at a good price. We will definitely be back here again. It was so nice I had to eat it before I did this review, as you can see from the photo.

21/02/2026: Genuiely the best royal toast in cork. The salmon is excellent, supreme, poached eggs amazing, the potatoes are nicely toasted. It is just my favorite, At one point I kept ordering it everyday for nearly a week on deliveroo. Their Croissant is great too ( coming from a french) its crispy and has a nice buttery flavor. The chocolate muffin is marvelous too. The french toast are.. well. Not everything can be perfect but if other people like it, thats good for the place. Anyway. Best toast.
