The best restaurants in Cork

05/10/2025: Mixed opinion on this place. The staff was nice and you could feel they get along well, which is always a good sign in hospitality. We had to wait a bit but it was okay regarding the number of people. Prices are ok. The live music was lovely and the vibe felt really Irish. But, the bathrooms (men and women) could easily be improved. 2 of our glasses weren't perfectly clean, we like to hope it's stains from the dishwasher! The ashtrays could be emptied more often especially during busy nights. We had a good time there, but would visit other pubs before coming back.

02/08/2025: I just want to say. Yesterday after work I went to Burguer King with my husband. It was quiet and a lady working there was so nice to us, so kind and funny. She made our day with her kindness, really it is the little things that change everything. Thank you lady, you are amazing!

31/07/2025: Great experience at Burger King! The service was quick, the staff was polite, and the food was fresh and tasty. Loved the crispy fries and the Plant based Whopper was just perfect. Will definitely visit again!

28/09/2025: One of my favorite places to have a lovely coffee and amazing desserts. Staff is always very friendly.

13/09/2025: Server was lovely. But! I got ONE spoon of granola in my açai bowl which was kind of ridiculous. For €10.50 I should be getting at least three spoons. The barista made a great coffee but like price for return is non existent. Could be great as the location is handy and the cafe itself is lovely inside. Potentially a great place, but not quite there.

23/09/2025: This would have got 5 from me but the recent price increases and the strange photos which are definitely not accurate from the business here bring it down to 3. The menu for 2 Tacos and 1 drink say €16, but we were charged €17. Most other prices have increased too, so we won't go here as much as we previously did. Food is nice here. But there aren't many seats inside. I don't know why they have photos of comfy couchesunless you can order these in the bar next door?

16/08/2025: Had never been to cork so having found this place we didn’t know what to expect. It’s a Latin American dive bar themed in a busy location in Cork but it’s not dive bar quality it’s clean and sleek. The guys behind the bar (tall brown haired young lad, blonde girl kinda alt) were so lovely and the Birria tacos and nachos we had were exceptional. My only gripe is it’s an hour flight from me or I’d be in every weekend!

15/08/2025: I have no idea why there is so much hype about here. Me and my partner are both visually impaired. This is the worst bar in Cork for extreme lighting at the bar. I couldn't even get served in here and was ignored by the bar staff who served a girl who was standing behind me who came to the bar after me. I don't fund ableist businesses like this one.

23/07/2025: A perfect place for dates or just hang out with friends! Also, amazing staff!

05/10/2025: Very poor service during our visit. The waitress never offered the drinks menu, and when we asked for apple juice, she simply said they didn’t have any and didn’t offer any alternative. We had to ask twice for the bill, which never came, and in the end we had to go to the counter to pay while we leave. Another table nearby got frustrated and left without saying anything not sure if they even paid the bill. Overall, a disappointing experience — we won’t be going back.

28/09/2025: Food was so delicious and tender. Service was nice and quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

16/09/2025: I had the most amazing meal, carvery. The staff are super cool. Great to see craft beers and cider being supported. Big shout out to Stonewell Cider lovers, I'd a non alcoholic.

08/09/2025: The Bishopstown Bar is always a favourite for our family but we had not been in a year or so and we shocked by the increase in pricing. The steak sandwiches were only okay. Nothing in particular to complain about but nothing to praise either. The scampi was a small portion but delicious! The curry was extremely delicious though adding chicken certainly raised the price. The pasta however was extremely oily, with a pool of it even visible in the photo. The garlic bread was grand and was used to try and soak up the oil. The staff were lovely, the checked on us so regularly it was almost annoying but to be fair it was a quiet night and there were not many other customers. Overall I would come back but I would avoid the pasta dishes.

16/09/2025: Alma is an amazing bartender and mixologist she definitely knew her stuff and recommended drinks I never even knew existed. 11/10 would definitely recommend this pub and am definitely going back for another drink!!

10/07/2025: I was in here before the Celtic match. The place was mobbed but the staff were superb at getting people served. A good boozer with a good atmosphere and a decent pint of Murphys.

10/09/2025: Driver went to the wrong house. When I rang I was told I had to pay again to get it delivered after waiting an hour already for my food. Terrible service

03/09/2025: Amazing peri peri chicken, love the pizzas and best beef burger in cork. Halal certified.

27/08/2025: Good ambiance and baked goods. The lemon drizzle was just right in terms of sweetness. Rested and recharged here with a nice cappuccino before heading out. Staff was very lovely and brought our orders out to the table ☺️

03/04/2025: A hidden treasure in the city to grab a cup of coffee with a friend. Nestled in amongst the small shops at Winthrop arcade, Cocoa is a fantastic independent coffee shop to support in a Cork City.
