16/04/2025: Just got our 1st takeaway from here last night and it was delicious! A few of us got a lot so we could try everything!❤️🤣 the roast duck Cantonese style was incredible, sweet and sour chicken too, curry sauce is sooo good but the chicken cheese rolls were the best!! It was all so good though, nice and hot and the portions are huge!! Can't wait for our next one ❤️

04/03/2025: Me encantó descubrir que el restaurante Quay Co - op llamado Upstairs ahora ha reabierto como un restaurante de autoservicio. En mis visitas recientes me pareció el personal muy cálido y acogedor y la comida muy buena y a un precio razonable. Lo comí varias veces en mi reciente visita a Cork y continuaré cenando allí en cualquiera de mis futuros viajes. La comida es de buena calidad y el servicio rápido y eficiente. A juzgar por las largas colas cada hora del almuerzo, es claramente muy popular entre los lugareños. Estaba muy contento con la comida y el servicio que recibí.

14/11/2024: A very tasty Irish Breakfast another hidden little gem. The food was delicious. Great Staff, limited seating, which makes it perfect for breakfast served quickly and tastefully. Also some takeaway options tea coffee etc.

10/12/2024: My favourite pub in Cork. Perfect for Winter as can sit near the fire with a Beamish. In Summer can enjoy a cold cider in the massive beer garden. Great staff. Sound regulars aswell. I’m a student but always have great craic with the older patrons.

10/12/2024: 1st time here at The Cork Arms bar! Old style old Fashioned Irish bar 🍸 on Maccurtain street Cork! Nice old bar! Old folks bar! Bit expensive for a pint! Wish pints would go back to Pre Covid prices! Toilet down stairs small bar! Nice Guinness here! Near the Everyman Theater!

27/03/2025: Pedí una Ciabatta y ensalada, tengo papas fritas. Luego fui ignorado totalmente cuando el personal se acercó a mi mesa y me dio la espalda ignorando mis llamadas de "disculpe". Un servicio terrible, cuando, en el momento de pagar me quejé, el personal dijo sonriente, oh lo siento, trató de cobrarme por dos rollos de salchicha que no pedí ni recibí y se negó a creerme con respecto a lo mismo. Avisó que lamentaba que no recibiera mi ensalada, pero no me ofreció una ensalada o una reducción como resultado de su error. Estoy de acuerdo con la revisión anterior, el lugar se está deteriorando y algo sucio, no voy a volver aquí. Es comida cara, de mala calidad y un servicio horrible.

13/01/2025: Experiencia Decepcionante – Comida Sosa, Sobreprecio y Mal Servicio" Visitamos este restaurante con grandes esperanzas de una buena comida familiar, pero por desgracia, no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Éramos cuatro, y pedimos una variedad de platos para tener una buena idea de lo que el menú tenía para ofrecer. Empezamos con la ensalada de mousse de queso de cabra, paté, bolas de arancini y ensalada de pollo. Todos eran increíblemente simples, caros y carecían de sabor real. Para empezar, estos platos podrían haberse servido en cualquier restaurante económico, pero aquí se marcaron mucho más allá de lo que valían. Para el plato principal, fuimos con el Pato (40€ ) , Cordero (40€ ) , y Dover Sole. El pato estaba seco, soso, y venía con solo unas pocas zanahorias bebé y patatas sin sabor. El Cordero estaba demasiado cocido e igualmente insípido. La suela Dover estaba bien, un poco seca y carecía de cualquier condimento o riqueza. Lo que realmente nos dejó sintiéndonos engañados, sin embargo, fue el precio. Nos habría decepcionado la comida incluso a un precio más bajo, pero cuando pagas 100 € por persona, simplemente no es aceptable. Para empeorar las cosas, el servicio era deficiente: el personal ni siquiera se molestó en servir nuestro vino y nuestro café Calipso llegó frío. La única característica redentora de la noche fue el cóctel Margarita, que en realidad era bastante agradable. Definitivamente no volveremos. Cuando pagas precios premium, esperas comida y servicio premium, y este restaurante no cumplió con ambos. - -

13/01/2025: "Disappointing Experience – Bland Food, Overpriced, and Poor Service" We visited this restaurant with high hopes for a nice family meal, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. There were four of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes to get a good sense of what the menu had to offer. We started with the Goat's Cheese Mousse Salad, Pâté, Arancini Balls, and Chicken Salad. All were incredibly plain, overpriced, and lacked any real flavour. For starters, these dishes could have been served at any budget restaurant, but here they were marked up far beyond what they were worth. For the main course, we went with the Duck (€40), Lamb (€40), and Dover Sole. The Duck was dry, bland, and came with just a few baby carrots and flavorless potatoes. The Lamb was overcooked and equally tasteless. The Dover Sole was completely dry and lacked any seasoning or richness. What really left us feeling deceived, however, was the price. We would have been disappointed with the food even at a lower price point, but when you’re paying €100 per person, it’s simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, the service was lacking—staff didn’t even bother to serve our wine, and our Calypso Coffee arrived cold. The only redeeming feature of the evening was the Margarita cocktail, which was actually quite nice. We will definitely not be returning. When you're paying premium prices, you expect premium food and service, and this restaurant failed to deliver on both.

06/07/2024: Nice wine bar with tapas style food in the happening Victorian Quarter. Particularly like the wine flights where you can try three different types of wines in each flight.

27/05/2024: What a nice wine bar, and the staff is sooooo friendly. They let you taste the wine first if you're not sure if you like it. They are in good spirits and really enjoy their work. Highly recommended!

06/04/2025: This local business is one of Cork's best kept secrets. It's a small eatery but we've always been able to sit down, and you won't be waiting long for good food. Since Bella Napoli no longer serves pizza, I can definitely call this the best in Cork.

31/12/2024: Absolutely disgusting. Not only that this is not pizza dough but the order was 1 hour late and they even messed up the order THEY SENT A DISGUSTING PIZZA WITH PINEAPPLE! Absolutely disgusting! Never again
