13/01/2026: Really well presented pub in and out cocktails where top notch we did try and go bk at night but it was overcrowded with the younger generation so went next door and and had a blast with Liam

05/10/2025: From a local bank to a local café! This friendly spot offers good wholesome food, scones & coffee off the beaten track. Good stop off option if transiting via Cork northside. Can be busy at peak times.

26/12/2025: I ordered the spicy bowl, but the rice wasn’t as spicy as I expected. The chicken, however, was juicy and tender. The salad was tasty, though I personally prefer hot food. I also tried the burger and the bottomless soft swirl. Overall, it was a good experience.

17/11/2025: It's better than competitors in the area but nothing was really standout. Respect for the meal deal, you get some decent food for the price point. However was given the poorest seat in the place where I could barely squeeze behind the table and given a beautiful view of the cleanup station. Also had to ask for cutlery and extra straws cos those paper straws just ain't it and collapse easily.

23/11/2025: Recently ate here with my daughter after a hospital appointment, I have never posted a negative review on any website but this place was appalling. Waitress was pleasant and friendly but two male staff (possibly owners)were present in the eat-in area the whole time we ate watching videos blaring on their phones. They then began arguing and shouting at each other and at one stage I thought it was going to get physical. My daughter and I were the only people eating in the restaurant so felt very uncomfortable .This went on for the duration of our meal.So unprofessional and rude. Food was pretty rough but would have got over that if it was a nice atmosphere. AVOID!!

08/09/2025: Really nice cafe and great deal for açai lovers. An açai bowl (that you get to pick the contents of) and ANY coffee for €12. The açai is nice but not a strong flavour so that may be a deterrent for some. Coffee is good enough and they are generous with syrup. The toastie is one of the cheapest in cork (€5.50-€6.50) and it is nice quality. The cafe is dog friendly which is great especially if you’re walking at the lough. Would recommend!

02/11/2025: I got spicy chicken meehon after describing what kind of a noodle i want on the night of the halloween,no eggs not sweet sauce ,the women taking my order was very practical to guide me with my choice and also asked me if i want spicy or not.(it is really spicy so if it is not for you keep that in mind) What i received as my order was totally what i was craving.the price (11.50)sounded a bit too much in the beginning for a takeaway noodle but considering the portion guess it was ok, she also let me charge my phone inside on a very busy night even before my order so thanks again to her for that.The only thing i would recommend them to come up with a solution with is their plastic boxes they put the food in.As you would expect asian food is served super duper hot and it is really not healthy to serve boiling hot food in plastic boxes,other than that the food is 5/5 and the service was even better

16/10/2025: The Allihies Copper Mine Museum is a small but extremely informative museum – lovingly designed and full of fascinating insights into the history of copper mining in this region. The exhibition is presented in a modern style and impressively conveys how hard and deprived the lives of the miners once were. The personal atmosphere is particularly pleasant: you can feel the dedication with which the museum is run. The location in the picturesque village of Allihies, surrounded by impressive coastal scenery, also makes a visit a special experience. A small, yet exquisite museum that should not be missed – highly recommended!

22/12/2025: When the food come in, the waitress got our food wrong, actually we never noticed as the burger and chip were the same just come with a corn side instead of the chips, then he come back with another burger saying he got it wrong, but we were already eating, so he said sorry but I have to take that burger belongs to someone else, we told him was already touched it's ok we don't charge it, then he left the other burger on the table went to see the manager, manager comes in and said I apologise I just changed the burger from your plate, can you use your hands mine are dirty OMG what is that, how many times have that happened and some else got food already in some one else table. Horrible service, horrible experience, too expensive, I had to be the waitress, I was the one that had to take the orders online, the menu that the staff gave us didn't match the online menu. We had to bring our own forks and knives to the table. We had to log in into their WiFi to do it, pay also online, and before someone tells that you can go the till, the staff was so rude that told us no just online if YOU CAN NOT DO IT WE CAN HELP YOU ONLINE BUT IS PRETTY EASY they said it, was ok but I was with my parents that are don't understand so much about technology, so that is ridiculous, is the last time we are using and eating in there for sure. Plenty of other places

03/10/2025: Not long after a collection order, family Thursday deal, wings, burger, garlic bread with cheese, baguette with chips and a drink. Service was spot on from phone order to collection, friendly staff and a nice girl even opened the door when I was leaving. The food was absolutely banging, if Mr Donatello himself walked in the door and asked what could be done better I genuinely wouldn't have an answer, absolutely not one fault could be found with any of the food, from one chef to another 👏👏👏👏👏👏 keep her lit
