26/07/2025: Lovely bacon and eggs on sourdough! Great coffee too

02/04/2025: Amazing Oat flat white perfectly balanced and silky milk texture. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Tried the new flatbreads, told they were home made and was very impressed. 10/10 Specialty coffee done right

03/04/2025: A hidden treasure in the city to grab a cup of coffee with a friend. Nestled in amongst the small shops at Winthrop arcade, Cocoa is a fantastic independent coffee shop to support in a Cork City.

08/01/2025: Always meant to visit this café and safe to say it will be the first and last. The café is cramped, tables outside but it's shared with another popular café and it's within a narrow hallway so it's not appealing. Café has an upcharge for dairy alternatives/plant drinks, predatory to those with dietary sensitivities. No toilet facilities on site. They claim their hot chocolates are made with 'real chocolate' but it was powdered chocolate. Gritty after taste and it was nothing special, for the price point we were expecting more. Tables were dirty, with some patrons clearing tables to get a table to sit at. Service staff were busy and were kind enough to bring out our beverages outside the shop as there isn't sufficient space to wait inside.

08/07/2025: Great proper old school bar, always great craic here and locals are lovely. Sporting events are always shown here too.

12/08/2025: A great experience if you're traveling. The entry prices aren't bad, and there are races about every 20 minutes. There's a good atmosphere, mostly groups of men, but also families. There's an outdoor option and a glass-enclosed interior. You can eat there for a reasonable price, and if you're up for it, you can easily place bets.

29/07/2025: Our ticket voucher paid for a drink and a bet. The races were delayed by 1 hour due to the heat of July. Majority of the staff were very pleasant. Excellent experience.

30/07/2025: This burger had me in love at first bite 😍🔥 The smash, the sauce, the spice — everything hit different. Best burger I’ve had in a long time, no cap. Cork got lucky with this one

17/05/2025: Very nice food. Forgot an item with the delivery. They brought it to the house in quarter of an hour. Very friendly and considerate service. Will definitely be ordering my succulent chinese meals from here again.

22/04/2025: Phoenix House Chinese Restaurant in Cork exceeded my expectations! The menu offered a wide range of options, and the food was consistently delicious. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere made it a great dining experience. Highly recommend the [dish name] - it's a must-try! Great value for money and definitely going back soon.

04/08/2025: Got food from here 3 years ago and my whole family got food poisoning I took out a lawsuit and I won I can gladly say I will never even look at a Supermac’s restaurant again now I’m going to be sharing some facts about Supermac’s it’s horrible disgusting dirty sloppy smelly undercooked outdated food and no one should ever go there again if I could give it 0 stars I would

17/07/2025: I had lunch today curry wasn't bad we decided to have dessert a crumble It was slopped into a bowl with cold custard presentation was scandlous.!!! Desserts are so expensive now it would need to be better... would definitely never have again

16/07/2025: Overpriced poor quality food. I review a lot of places and am always happy to give praise where it’s due but really there is nothing good to be said about this venue. The service was bad and the food was worse. Plenty other options in the city.

18/06/2025: Lovely bar. Atmosphere is great. Got very very busy after 10pm so if your not a big fan of crowds that's a heads up for you. Cocktails were divine plus they had a really good offer on them before 10pm

12/06/2025: Went when there was a jukebox band on, was a good vibe but drinks were a joke. Paid 24€ for a jack and coke and a vodka cran, got the same thing in another bar plus 2 shots for 19€, been a few times but would definitely have pre - drinks before going in, the people inside are a mix of mams and creeps, luck of the draw. Bartender ignored us 4 times before serving us. Also very little crowd control in there, it's like a tin of sardines

14/08/2025: The takeaway was tasteless and rubbery, and nowhere near as good as it used to be. It ended up in the bin. I would not recommend it.

22/07/2025: What a cool spot to drop into at any time of the day or night. Joao and Katelyn are just the most welcoming , friendly and funny barstaff. I would definitely recommend... And if your very lucky you might bump into Dave the regular and what a treat ! I would definitely recommend.. I'll be back for sure!

26/06/2025: Guy served me and my partner pints, then told us he was closed in 30 mins only after we paid, then told us 5 mins before that time that we had to leave.

08/06/2025: The best food I've had in a while. Best cocktail I've ever had. Best music while we were eating. Absolutely criminal why there wasn't a queue out the door. That said we tried to book a table and it said none available, turned up on the off chance and the place was empty. Best food/drink /music ever! So happy 🤤🤤🤤 (I would fight people for the beef tacos!)
