24/03/2026: A wonderful, cozy cafe. It's nice to have a place in Cork where you can get dessert and coffee after 6 p.m., since everything is closed and there's no opportunity to chat with friends. The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful

18/06/2025: I was genuinely shocked by what I witnessed at Gym Plus Cork in Mahon Point during my recent visit. A female member was working out in what was essentially a bikini bra and shorts so short and see-through that her private areas were clearly visible as she walked around and during squats. This level of exposure is completely inappropriate for any public gym, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere for others, myself included. Even more disturbing was the fact that there were adolescents present at the time. In my view, this goes beyond poor judgement — it amounts to public indecency, and I believe the Gardaí should be made aware. Gym Plus urgently needs to enforce a clear and reasonable dress code to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members, including families and young people. This kind of negligence is unacceptable.

17/03/2026: The Plaza is an amazing place to visit. Food, service and staff are fantastic. There's never an issue here.

05/02/2026: Popped in during the day was quiet and ordered a quick sandwich, what I got was outstanding ,a real tasty sandwich with fresh cut chips and tasty salad ,the coffee was really nice had two cups ,very good value and excellent staff,my compliments to all ,will be back with friends to sample more of the tasty food .

02/11/2025: Edited as it's my second day in a row getting this. The food is absolutely top notch and some of the most reasonably priced food around with amazing taste! They even do a vegan beef burger which is so so nice and the curry and satay dishes I've had are also 10/10! Staff are friendly too so 10/10 to the staff as well!

23/10/2025: Rude reception. Got burger and chips with no sachet sauce. I had in a takeaway but was waiting for someone to pick me up when I decided to check my bag and have a few chips. But she yelled ‘u can’t eat here!’ I didn’t order for dine in. All I wanted was to sit for few minutes while waiting for my pickup. Why should a food service be unwelcoming? I didn’t have appetite to eat my food after such rudeness.

09/04/2026: Absolute Favourite taco spot in Cork! Favourite Mexican food spot in general to be honest, the beef birria are a must have! The portion sizes are amazing too. The el cholo loco sauce is so good and fresh I had to buy a bottle for myself at home. I love the new cocktail menu, with Shake It To The Max being a stand out favourite. I cannot recommend enough.

30/11/2025: I had heard good things but I was really disappointed. Friends had the chicken and I had the beef birra. Food wasn’t hot. Everything lacked flavour, the tacos were neither soft nor hard.

07/10/2025: Never went in just past close buy outside but I did not like the look of it men drinking and smoking outside at the door at the side of the building.

30/10/2025: Update: I made payment for soaps and my money was refunded to me. No reason was given, no response to my message. It may be because of my last review but this experience was worse than the last time. I made payment of the 3rd of October, 2025. The customer care service and response needs to be worked on. More information about delivery(delivery company) used too needs to be given to the client or updated on your website/whatsapp welcome message. I had a terrible experience of being ignored without any update from the person I was chatting with. When I complained the message I got was such a terrible message, where the person responded like she was doing me a favour. You really need to do better. About the product I ordered, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the product I got it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was original, especially since a lot of fakes are in circulation and the price was the best price I saw anywhere. I hope in future I can get more of the product I got and be able to edit/update this review to more favourable experience.

05/10/2025: From a local bank to a local café! This friendly spot offers good wholesome food, scones & coffee off the beaten track. Good stop off option if transiting via Cork northside. Can be busy at peak times.

26/09/2025: We loved to go to Dashi and it was our go-to takeaway in COVID times. I ordered for collection on a Thursday evening at 7pm, half of the sushi options were gone and the curry and udon noodle dishes (or at least parts thereof) were heated in a microwave, and it still took them 25 minutes to put the order together. The dishes lacked veggies and where mediocre at best, and I couldn't finish the seaweed salad. Very disappointed.

18/09/2025: Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included. They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had😟 Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked👀

28/06/2025: I have been travelling Ireland for a month now. Stopped there for a coffee. The staff is the less friendly I have encountered in the whole Ireland, the tables outside were dirty and still had the coffee from previous people. No wifi for guests (people sometimes go to coffee shops to work). Positive aspect is that the coffee was great and the little sweet I bought too.

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5
