16/10/2025: Please forgive me, but I have to say that there are places that would be better left unopened. There are so many things that shouldn't even be part of the decor, but oh well. I wish them the best of luck and hope they improve for the better.

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5

04/10/2025: The burger was very good. However there was too much salt on the chips. I will come back but I'll be asking for no/little salt on the chips so I can season to my own taste.

27/10/2025: I was in Cork for one day and found this spot on reddit. It was the best iced coffee I've had in Ireland in six months. Very good!

25/10/2025: Amazing coffee shop, brilliant coffee quality. Don’t expect to sit inside though - there’s only a few seats on a high table

05/12/2025: It's fast food fish and chips. It's not high quality. But it serves it's purpose.

23/11/2025: Do not order the catch of the day meal. It's battered fish, which should be prepared, but they sell it still with all the skin and bones. Not what should be expected for battered fish at all, especially if a kid orders that meal.

03/09/2025: Spacious rooms, clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Approximately 15 minutes drive into Cork centre.

21/09/2025: The best fresh bread in town. They their vegan soda bread and vegan pastries. Lovely staff. You can also get a bread with vinegar and oil tasting.

18/10/2025: Polite and efficient staff. Loads of choice on their menu and plenty of good food provided. Good value for money. Spacious layout internally with loads of car parking nearby.
