08/09/2025: Really nice cafe and great deal for açai lovers. An açai bowl (that you get to pick the contents of) and ANY coffee for €12. The açai is nice but not a strong flavour so that may be a deterrent for some. Coffee is good enough and they are generous with syrup. The toastie is one of the cheapest in cork (€5.50-€6.50) and it is nice quality. The cafe is dog friendly which is great especially if you’re walking at the lough. Would recommend!

29/10/2025: I was very sad to see this pub go. Probably my favourite in Cork. Really wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. I hope the owners are able to open a new premises elsewhere in the near future!

29/10/2025: Very icy staff constantly bickering at each other. Saw rats around back of shop with open door!!! If you have any self respect, avoid this over priced deli counter.
There's a spar down the road that does a nicer munch for a quarter of the price

22/03/2026: We were there for St. Patrick's Day, and the live music was amazing. The beer was good, there was plenty of space, and it was nice that there was a shelf by the pillars where you could put your beer.

My wife and I had a dish with tiger prawns and lamb. Everything really tasted good.
Very impressed with the size and I ended very satisfied.
15/03/2026: Takeaway 10/10, restaurant 7/10. Food is always quality but the restaurant could do with a renovation. Staff aren’t exactly the friendliest either, especially considering the price

06/01/2026: This is a lively pub, especially if you’re into live music—it’s definitely worth checking out. On weekends, it gets busy and energetic, with a great buzz. If you prefer a calmer, more relaxed evening, weekdays are the way to go.
The place itself is huge, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, so there’s usually space no matter when you visit.

06/08/2025: Always incredible pizza and service. Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. The vegan cheese is delicious too! Potatoes are ok but I’d love if they added chips to the menu. The pizza is so delicious we don’t mind though .
