25/06/2025: We ordered the sesame honey chicken for takeaway, but unfortunately it was very dry and didn’t seem fresh. We brought it back and asked for a fresh replacement, but sadly received the same dish again. We were disappointed and hope quality will be better next time.

06/06/2025: Collection time in the app said 9-14 minutes for the order to be ready, it took 20 minutes. I had to wait still for it to be made when I got there.

07/04/2025: I have been a fan of Domino's and have frequently ordered from them since moving to our new home. However, my recent experience on Sunday, April 7th, was extremely disappointing. We placed an order for pizza at 8 PM, and after 45 minutes, the tracker indicated that our pizza was delivered. When I called the restaurant, I was surprised to learn that the driver returned the pizza because it "looked like no one was home." It was concerning that he never came to the door to knock or ring the doorbell, especially since the living room light was on. To make matters worse, the restaurant informed us that the driver’s attempt to contact us failed because of an incorrect phone number entered during the order. I confirmed my correct phone number and asked them to ensure that the driver knocked on the door for the re-delivery. After another 45 minutes without any update, I called again only to be told that the system had mistakenly reverted to a previous address. I found it strange that the driver went to the wrong location after just having been to my house earlier, which had "seemed like no one was at home." Neither he nor the restaurant contacted me to explain. By this point, it was nearly two hours after our original order, and when offered a third attempt for delivery, I politely declined and requested a refund instead. I was then informed it would take 4 to 5 business days to process. Overall, we are out €50 and without our meal, and the lack of communication and follow-up left a bad impression on us. It’s unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed the food prior to this experience. Based on this incident, I doubt we will be returning. I hope management addresses these issues to improve service and communication in the future.

06/07/2025: Been going there for 10 years. The boss knows us by going there. Never ever once gave us a free pint.

03/07/2025: Disgrace of a shop, I’m 21 years of age I went into the shop for fags showed the foreign woman behind the til my passport and she tried to tell me my passport photo isn’t me it’s not my passport, she had the most disgusting manner she shouldn’t be working there. id stay well away from this shop anyway my first and last time stepping foot in there

22/08/2025: Good food but the staff could clear tables a bit more often.

24/07/2025: Was kept waiting on the drivethru for 40 minutes until I honked and she came to tell it would be another 15 minutes. This was in the afternoon.

07/11/2024: Nothing can prepare you for how good these cupcakes are - soft, moist, and fluffy, with a creamy, silky smooth frosting. Perfectly baked, amazing flavour, and great selection. I recommend 100%

04/06/2025: Good pub for a few pints, this pubs they are the real pubs good laugh no kids and all friendly because everyone going there is to have a good time only good time isn’t it and a great laughing too the life is short and we don’t know if we still alive tomorrow so enjoy the present that’s the most important, congratulations for your pub and I wish you many years ahead with the some great energy and good vibes in the pub all the best.

15/07/2025: We ordered a standard 9 inch pizza along with a Belgian waffle and carbonara, firstly the staff mixed up our order with another tables order, so we got a pizza and chips which was apart of the others tables order instead of our pizza. At first we thought that the chips were included in the pizza meal since we didn’t order chips but they were not, we were charged for the chips even though it was the staffs fault. The staff even gave the other table 2 portions of chips to make up for “waiting longer”, this just set a bad mood for us and made us want to leave quicker, the carbonara was too cheesy and the pizza was very greasy. I won’t be returning again.

31/07/2025: I had the fish and chips . Guys, the batter is terrible.truly the worst batter . It was mushy and not crispy, and chips were cooked many times before service. Dry and taste of old burnt oil It went in the bin. The mushy peas were never given. First time going there I was so disappointed.

19/04/2025: Absolutely loved this place, possible the best satay sauce I’ve had. I’m a big lad and couldn’t finish the portion they gave It’s like they put 3 chickens in there. I don’t live near Blackpool but I will likely consider making this my main Chinese. Very happy

05/04/2025: I went here for the first time recently and it made a very good first impression! The service was prompt, the food was lovely, the staff were friendly, the waiting area was clean, and the portions were generous. Good work :)

09/06/2025: AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! If I could give it ZERO I would - absolute disgrace, waited over an hour and a half for food and when it came it was freezing cold. Rang to complain TWICE and the Chinese woman started shouting down the phone calling me a liar and that the food was hot she “remembers”. The food has to be binned the minute it was opened because you would have been sick if you ate it. Refused to refund us and got zero satisfaction! Absolutely avoid at all costs unless you want food poisoning!

21/02/2025: One of my favorite Chineses in cork. Delivery is always super quick and prices are good. Spicy box is amazing.

29/06/2025: No triple cheeseburger, as if they’re hard to make laik. No student meal, I’m struggling. Asked for free chicken nuggets, didn’t get them of course. Almost certain there was a man in one of the bins.

30/05/2025: Mi amigo y yo pedimos un McFlurry cada uno y salieron de alguna manera derretidos y esponjosos en lugar de una textura McFlurry normal. Estoy asombrado y nunca volveré otra vez

27/06/2025: Had a lovely stay. Safe, clean, cheap option. The breakfast was pretty basic but it does the job.

25/06/2025: Was here before so far a very good hostel cannot say one bad word called a half hour before arrival and told the staff had a bicycle with me and were a 100 per cent okay gave me storage for my bike and all very welcoming and any time I told them might have to check out a bit earlier than usual were 100 per cent about that too so welcoming and easy going their pizza and pint special is good and it was good very easy going but well managed hostel they know how to pour a good pint and very decent cocktails and great music most nights of the week I would definitely highly recommend BRU BAR AND HOSTEL to anyone 👍

13/07/2025: Service appalling, food was cold, saw my fish sitting under the heater for at least 6 minutes. Chips cold. All the food was dried out. Not a friendly member of staff to be seen. And no one actually looked up to see who they were serving and nothing else said except for salt and vinegar. I found my whole experience there as distasteful as the food. Will NOT be going again.

10/07/2025: The staff is nice and helpful. The food is fresh and the fries are quite large, even the smallest version. I didn't like the chicken burger that much, it was too spicy. The place is otherwise neat and clean, they pay attention to that.
