The best restaurants in Cork

11/09/2026: Was waiting at the door at 6am to get stuff, shop was still closed. Staff member finally arrived (late) and said we open at 6.15 not 6. I said it was 6am advertised and got told well I've no till ready anyway so cant help you.

16/08/2026: The coffee is fine but as with most places these days it's expensive. My main issue though is with the fact that the person on the till said nothing during our exchange. I ordered a coffee, a treat and asked her to sign my loyalty card. In return, there was no hello. No thank you. No 'enjoy!' Nothing... As a paying customer, the very least I expect is 'thank you'. Poor form, really.

28/08/2026: Ordered the food on the kiosk and entered my seating number and sat down waited for fifteen minutes then went back up to the counter , the girl cooking wasn’t in any great rush even though clearly people were waiting the other girl said it would be another five minutes ,eventually after a total of 30 mins the food arrived my burger was cold and we were missing a portion of nuggets and the toy that was meant to come with the kids meal. Supermac’s generally are good but this branch should be avoided it’s a disgrace. On a separate point the cleanliness of the dining area was appalling even the walls were filthy.I do realise this is a high traffic area but the standards of this dining area have dropped significantly in the last few years.

27/08/2026: A nice Supermacs with all the options. A bit difficult to find but worth it. Complete with a shared seating area.

10/07/2026: Ordered multiple times never had an issue. This time woman on phone misunderstood what I was asking for and sent wrong order. Called to clarify and got told its what I asked for. Called again and requested refund as it isn't what I wanted. After talking in the background to someone and clearly hearing someone say "pain in the hole", she came back to the phone and told me they won't be refunding me and won't take it back as it'll just be thrown away. She was ratty and brash with everything she said and on the verge of arguing with me. Did some small checking up regarding consumer rights, called back a final time nice as pie still and apologising for this confusion all in all, but explaining that the responsibility is the resteraunt as they have multiple meal deals of the same price with the same ingredients and that's what lead to the confusion. Here I was basically told to f off. She was snapping down the phone telling me she doesn't care and its not their problem. Repeat customer. Always tipped. Always says please and thank you. One small misunderstanding by the woman taking orders and I'm treated like dirt. The food is good, but that good taste wears quickly when they send you the wrong thing and then treat you like scum for trying to work with them to fix the order. Dont support. No longer recommended. Genuinely treated horrible. 09/07/2026

06/07/2026: I ordered beef with mushrooms oyster sauce I got beef with mushrooms black bean sauce but have to say it was tasty out 😋

13/09/2026: The beef dish was missing the onions, and the battered fish was quite bland. The salad wasn't fresh and the person who I spoke to about it, at first acted like that was normal.

27/08/2026: A impressive building and lovely atmosphere. Plenty of carparking space. When you enter you'll find the restaurant on the left opposite reception. I was offered a choice of a chair at a table or a comfortable settee. The table was just the right height for both. There's a good choice of meals on the menu, some standard and some a little special. I had a lovely steak cooked just right. Only bad point was I asked for mustard and was a bit surprised to be offered the squeezey yellow mustard kids put on hotdogs. Bit of a hero to zero moment. Other than that a smashing place. Just bring your own mustard.

10/07/2026: I have been here twice now. The staff, the service, the ambience is great. On my first visit I ordered the seafood chowder and it was fab. I ordered chicken ceaser salad yesterday. I was very disappointed. While the salad, dressing was good, the grilled chicken was very dry. It was as if it was grilled way in advance and reheated as and when orders come in. Thats not what I would expect when I am close to 19 euros for a salad! I wouldn't be ordering the chicken ceasar salad again unfortunately!

29/07/2026: Quick service and the staff was nice and friendly. I asked for a iced tea and the lady was very patient telling me all the flavours and options available and I ordered a white chocolate and raspberry muffim. Delicious!! So gooooood I really recommend it!

06/12/2025: Chips were not cooked, hardly get a takeaway as its so expensive so very disappointed for the kids.

29/11/2025: Ordered from here for delivery. Took over an hour (I live a 5 minute drive away). Food was COLD. Driver wasn't very pleasant, he couldn't take the food from his delivery bag and hand it to me, instead just opened it and stood there whilst I took it out.

18/04/2026: Super nice people, great live music after the game and a non-stop party 🍺👍🏻

08/04/2026: Bouncer was rude and obnoxious rejecting real id, I had my license and passport. Wouldn’t recommend booking for an 18th.

22/08/2026: Lovely local family run establishment. Great variety of food and is a general happy family business !!!

03/08/2026: Had a fantastic chicken burger/chips \ mushrooms in the fry ballincollig yesterday. Very enjoyable food. Top class
