10/02/2026: Food is tops and the quality is very good and tasty.

30/09/2025: Nice very clean chip shop in Cork. Staff here were friendly. These were probably the best chips I've had in a few years. The chicken fillet burger was good too, nice and crispy. The only thing that wasn't that good were the mushy peas. They were a bit watery and didn't taste of much, so I probably wouldn't have those again. I definitely recommend this place for a good feed if you're in the northside of the city.

11/01/2026: We love Khor. Great value for money and the food is always delicious. The satay sauce, crispy shredded chicken, chicken balls, pad thai and gyozas are some of our favourites. The staff are lovely as well.

30/08/2025: Very good coffee shop and very good for a morning stop for breakfast and to drink a quality coffee. I really liked the coffee. I'm a fan of good coffee and I know what good coffee and bad coffee are, and here you have quality. Congratulations on transforming this place into a very high-quality coffee shop, above average, despite the competition not liking it and trying to say otherwise, but time is the best thing to put to the test. I highly recommend it; you won't leave here unsatisfied.

06/06/2025: Cafe is small and seating cramped, decor a bit depressing. Coffee was OK though the cappuccino was very milky . There are better coffee shops around for the same price.

21/10/2025: Food here is really, I would recommend the dinner box, chips are really nice and the chicken is cooked perfectly, I also recommend the curry sauce really tasty, staff are really nice and the place is kept clean and tidy

23/09/2025: Dinos douglas has gone to the bin! Ever since the Irish girl Sarah left the chipper, the food quality has been horrendous. The asian lady working at the store makes the worst food, it’s definitely not fresh and you could just tell that the fish, chicken and dips are stale. The quality that dinos has in other stores like Grange and Turners cross is nowhere near compared to the likes of the Douglas store. The food used to be nice but ever since the asian lady has been making the food, it has been unhygienic, dirty and will definitely give someone food poisoning. Douglas dinos is really really awful now and should be avoided at all costs.

16/02/2026: We entered the venue around 8:48 PM, while the closing time was listed as 9:00 PM. Even though we were allowed inside, we were told that food service was no longer available. Even if there were only 10–15 minutes left before closing, takeaway service could still have been offered. The closing time was not clearly defined (last order time vs. door closing time), which was disappointing as a customer. Staff communication could have been clearer. It would be much better for customers if the last order time was clearly stated.

27/12/2025: Honestly? I'm amazed, I did not think that it's possible to make Pad Thai taste bland... 3x different dishes all tasted the same or to be more specific they tasted like nothing...

25/01/2026: As I’ve seen the general manager from Milanos at Mahon Point respond to positive reviews on this page, I hope they will respond to negative also. I wish I could speak about the food, but unfortunately all I can reference is the incredibly rude staff, the bald gentleman who is “front of house” engaging in an argument with a female colleague near the bar area. Myself, my partner and approximately 7 other couples/families were refused seating in the restaurant , yet the place was empty all but two or three tables with customers. Staff are appallingly rude, untrained and not interested in customer service whatsoever. My partner was so excited to try your restaurant and your staff completely ruined her evening. I challenge the general manager to reply to this. I am happy to speak at anytime, your staff should be immediately fired.

09/01/2026: On a previous visit, we ended up quietly leaving after several tables that arrived after us were served first. Even after raising this with staff, we continued to be left unattended. A few days later we returned, only to be immediately turned away at the door. Given this restaurant’s 3.8-star rating, one would expect an effort to make things right rather than penalising customers for past issues. This experience was a clear reminder that some places simply do not deserve a second chance.

06/11/2025: I got beef Rendang from this place, and I could believe my eyes, it was basically like Thai curry or something. It wasn't beef Rendang at all! Very misleading and just tastes sweet and oily. No flavour whatsoever. Please don't put up items on the menu that you have no idea how to make.

07/09/2025: Really really disappointing place in general. The interior was quite dingy and stuffy. The place looks quite careless thrown together with random stuff on the walls and a pool table that it is not in use. A group and I tried to watch an Irish soccer game there one night. The commentary was 5 seconds behind the visuals and one of the screens was glitching. The women insisted everyone at our table bought something when actually 4 out of 5 of us bought something. She was quite rude, blunt and ill mannered. It really made us feel uncomfortable, unwanted and unappreciated. Out of the 100s of great pubs in Cork, this is definitely one of the to avoid.

18/07/2025: Though I've never been a customer of this bar. The auld one who runs the bar needs to realise that the bar does not own the parking space outside the bar and by placing kegs outside the premises, does not mean that the general public cannot park there. The woman who works there shouting abuse at me last week which was totally uncalled for.

30/11/2025: We got €50 food delivered from here tonight. It was genuinely awful. Like truly inedible. The breast of chicken curry was tasteless and paste like with "chicken" with a spongey, disgusting texture. Salt N Pepper chicken was like pork scratchings. Chicken Chow Fan was vile. Slimy and just grim. Thai basil stir fry was terrible. The chips and boiled rice were acceptable.

31/10/2025: I get fish and chips here and they are always very nice I got very over cooked Haddock with batter that I could not chew. I give it to the dogs. I got an extra few bags of chips with toppings that did not look burnt but no one could finish them as they were very poor. Hopefully this is resolved. The staff are very nice in there!

20/10/2025: Just bought a brat in a bun meal and the chips had the texture of a bag of toenails. You need to throw out the chips off they’ve been under the heat lamp for a while guys. Burger was ok, too much bread not enough breast. Disappointing

03/12/2025: The kids love coming into the shop, had to pop in after a bit of shopping and the workers were so accommodating. Alex was very helpful explaining the doughnuts in detail to me as I had no clue, he was just amazing couldn't have been more helpful really made the trip in worth it. He was an absolute delight to have a chat with. Will definitely go in again.

21/12/2025: Came here for a family gathering, waiting staff good, attentive. Party of six, my order didn’t appear for 15-20 minutes after the other five orders. For me this is poor form and while they did apologise there wasn’t an explanation given. The food itself is fine it’s a safe menu but the seasoning is limited to salt and pepper and it was very much a soft texture diet lacking in much variety of texture. Prawns limp and most definitely over cooked.

21/12/2025: No joy with booking online so took a chance as a walk in..they found us a table no problem we just had soup and sandwich..very tasty,our server brilliant..maybe French chap..very enjoyable ❤️

01/02/2026: The place itself is charming, very well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly. We ordered two glasses of wine, one from Chile and one from New Zealand. To my surprise (I’m usually not a fan of Chilean wine), both were really good, and the pours were generous. The waiter was lovely and even brought the bottle over so I could see the name of the wine. Zero complaints there. Also worth mentioning: in January, pints are €4.50, which is a great deal, even though we didn’t try them. I’m giving 3 stars because we came in mainly due to the advertised snack + pint until 9pm. We ordered the loaded fries with truffle and parmesan. As you can see in the photo, despite being a large plate, they’re barely “loaded” at all. They were essentially fries with some parmesan sprinkled on top. Tasty, yes, but calling them “loaded fries” feels misleading. When we asked for a bit more sauce (the one you see in the photo), we were told no because the kitchen was closed. I ended up speaking with the manager to explain that this didn’t feel fair, and it took him literally two minutes to get it — though not without first insisting again that the kitchen was closed and the chefs were already gone. Honestly, charging €9 for fries with a bit of cheese and a small pot of spiced mayo, and then debating over giving a bit more sauce, really detracted from the experience. We weren’t asking for anything to be cooked — just a simple gesture that would have made the experience much more pleasant. Overall, thank you for the service. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend it — there are definitely good things about the place — but with so many options in Cork, it’s probably not somewhere we’d return to.

02/01/2026: Most expensive roll in Cork? I've been a customer of the deli here for a good 20 years, but I've found their prices and habits of overcharging have just gone crazy. Despite advertising prices for various rolls, no matter what you get in it, you will be charged the highest price. I've often got a 4-5 item roll, and you will still be charged for 8 items. I recently started to ask for the 8 items, out of principal, and now they are charging €7.50 for a breakfast roll. False advertising and overpriced. Insane.

05/09/2025: Linen weaver JD Wetherspoon was such a nice place for food and free refills of Coffee. Very great place to sit with a soulmate and on my own in recent years. Such a sweet memory 💖 from 2016 to 2018. Hard to believe Linen Weaver is closed now, would wish they can reopen sometime in near future.
